Politics / Emeifele Rearrest: Court Order Is Useless In Nigeria. Court Should Be Closed by cybertruss(m): 6:36am On Jul 26, 2023
It's very funny that buharization of court order continues in Tinubu's rule. What sort of country are we in. Since the executive arm of government has made the court powerless, the court should be shut down. Judges and lawyers should look for another job. Let us not waste our money paying staff of a powerless courts that cannot tackle the executive arm of government.
I don't know if this man is guilty or not but disregard to court order is not good.

A time is coming when a valid armed robber that is found guilty by the court will pour his spit on the judge and walk away and nothing will happen.

Fellow Nigeria, is that the type of nation you want to build for your children.

Politics / Tinubu Is Smart: Increment In Salary Will Be Cancelled By Increment In Fuel , Po by cybertruss(m): 11:01am On Jul 19, 2023
Tinubu is really playing powerful soccer with Nigerians. It seems that no one in Nigeria can stand him (NLC, TUC, etc). When he removed subsidy and introduced palliative(goal number 1), many clapped for him. He later increased the fuel prize which was never expected (goal number 2). The entire nation have not been able to take the ball at the back of Tinubu's net. 10 minutes into the first half

Tinubu 2: Other Nigerian Citizen 0

Some citizens are preparing the judiciary but from history, the judiciary have never assisted it's citizens. Will the current judiciary find the back of the net .Time will tell.

Politics / President Tinubu: So Far So Good by cybertruss(m): 10:34am On Jun 13, 2023
I never supported Tinubu judging him as a friend of a dictator. However, I must confess, so far his policies are good. However, I don't know whether he will sustain those policies.

1. Removal of fuel subsidy is good but wrong timed as he need to have placed policies to stop the repercussion before removing it

2. Student loan is a wonderful policy. It will make education to be easy for Nigerians

3. The new policy about electricity is wonderful but he needs to assist new business strong to push the current corrupt distribution company out of business like NITEL. The community should take care of electrical facility, etc

However, we don't know how respectful Tinubu is to court order and how he plans to unify the already disintegrated Nigeria.

However, it could be that he is doing all these to win our heart and he will later teach us hard lesson like his dictator friend.

Time will tell as we have concluded the Buhari's season film and enter Tinubu's season film. Also we don't know how long this film will last as the court case lingers

If they don't want igbos in Nigeria. It's easy. Everyone to your tent. Let the country break. It's because they're scared the Igbo nation will progress that's why they are forcing things they don't want.

See me see trouble ooo. If you no want water will you drink water. If you don't want igbos, then let them go

It's no longer a news that some people in Nigeria are seriously infected with this new disease in Nigeria. The good thing is that this disease is not contagious. It only infects those that are filled with hatred sentiment of a particular group of people called the igbos. Must infected people feel inferior for no good reason and get filled with hatred of the igbos. There's no current cure for this social disease and the Nigerian Federal Government are not really concerned

Take it or not. FG is wrong in how they handle things. Forget tribal sentiment. You all are suffering from a disease called tribalsentimentiosis. The infection of your tribal sentiment (new word) which has resulted into a new disease called igbophobia (unnecessary fear or dislike of the igbos)
Business / CBN: Nigeria Government Favour Islam Only by cybertruss(m): 10:23am On Mar 25, 2023
It has come to my notice that the government have stylishly used the power of philosophy to favour Islam.

They started the process by initiating cashless policy. They stylishly collected everyone's money so that they would inflict injury on some of its citizens. The rate of failed online transactions exposed the fact that Nigeria is never ready for the cashless policy.

Because Salah is approaching they decided to bring back the old currency so that it wouldn't affect Salah.

It's a wrong move. I expect the CBN to give the banks new notes only in large quantities and gradually removes the old note before December deadline. The way they're going about this shows the old currency will remain even after December. The new currency must then be developed for political reasons. I believe they told NLC to call for strike before Salah so that they can use that excuse to flood old naira currency.

Our government are known to be hardened, anti people and don't act to prevent strike. That's why the way they try to prevent NLC strike this time is very suspicious.

Politics / Show Of Shame. INEC President Elect Goes To Rest While Obi Works by cybertruss(m): 6:05am On Mar 25, 2023
I know Tinubu's supporters will disagree. As our nation bleeds, Tinubu have gone to rest abroad showing us the type of leadership we will be expecting. As a leader one does not expect him to go and rest. However some may claim that he is working abroad. I think we have outgrown the way our leaders used to deceive themselves claiming to be working abroad. Since he left Nigeria, the only thing we heard from him is the secret meeting with a disguised CJN probably to see how the supreme court will impose him against the will of the people as it happened last election in imo state. This is really a show of shame. We have suffered terrible anti people policies in the hand of Buhari. Are we going to suffer another 8 years of terrible policy under Tinubu? There's a popular saying show me your friend and I will tell you who you are. Just like Buhari, Tinubu is expected to frequently go abroad or work from abroad. Will the next 8 years in Nigeria be a 8 years of darkness. Will our powerless judiciary do the right thing or will they pervert justice because of few USD. Or will the court make declaration which will expose how powerless our judiciary is. Time will tell. Fellow Nigerians it is time we all wake up from our slumber

Sad to hear...

Some of you guys never experienced army rule. That's why you are talking like that.

As an example. Under army rule, students protest, army would be sent in, and people would die.

Under civillian rule...nothing like that.

As bad as this our democracy is, at the end of the day, you are freer under this bad democracy than you would be under army rule.

Plus, army was called in in 1966, and 1983 to 'restore sanity' . It did not work.

My brother, the Buhari administration is purely military. Have you forgotten Lekki. What about Supreme Court being powerless. As the current impunity continues a day will come when someone will be found guilty and he will abuse the judge and walk away
Politics / 2023 Election: INEC Also Above The Law Like CBN. What Type Of Courts Do we Have by cybertruss(m): 7:46am On Mar 13, 2023
After reading this newspaper report in this link below, I just cannot stop wandering why our leaders just disobeys court order.

https://www.thecable.ng/inec-has-refused-to-allow-obi-access-presidential-election-materials-says-lp-campaign/amp

First I will say categorically our supreme court have lost its flavour. They don't have power. In fact the judiciary is seriously sleeping. They are the puppet of the executive arm.

Fellow Nigerians why do we deceive ourselves that we are practicing democracy. Isn't it high time we close the court nation wide.

Salaries that they pay the judges is useless and a waste of our almost depicted national fund. Let the courts be shutdown so that we know that Buhari and Tinubu are the judges and lawyers and we are not a democratic nation.

In fact, with the refusal of INEC to give access to the BVAS I expect the governorship election to be postponed or the presidential election to be annulled as INEC had reconfigured the BVAS

The moderator of this thread should edit the original post and add Yoruba nation. However I see him/her as blind as there is no nation called Nigeria. What we have currently is the military trying to force unity which will always fail. The agitation yesterday shows that the people are tired of the fake national unity.

Na WA ooo. FG have nothing to say again. What FG wanted was for appeal court to adjoin the case till Buhari leaves office.

I thank God for our appeal court judges. What's happening shows that we still have great judges and hope.

Malami is a disgrace to the judiciary and should be removed as AGF. Malami doesn't deserve to be AGF.

FG holding Kanu in detention shows that we are in banana republic were the executive disobeys court order and have no respect for the judiciary.

Big shame to the FG

Buhari is actually doing as expected. Currently no one can predict what will happen.

The Attorney general has natural hatred for MNK

MNK has a good, clean case.

Nigerian have seen Malami implements the worst judgement ever in recent Nigeria in Imo State election where he imposed governor on the people.

Will Malami perform another terrible judgement in Nigeria history and become the worst ever Attorney general.

Will God Almighty step in to change things for better for the people.

Only time will tell

Although some might argue that the supreme court is not just Malami but a panel of judges. But we all know there are ways things are manipulated in Nigeria

Are you even current with court proceedings in this Kanu case?

The berstard has three separate issues going on.

1. Raising insurrection force
2. Terrorising and disrupting peace of the nation
3. Jumping bail and antagonizing the nation from a foreign soil.

All these things you have listed here have been looked into both by the Nigerian Courts and the United Nation courts and the accusations are invalid.

Did I just read someone banking on Jibrin’s promises? Who are you calling “Mr. President” so respectfully?

A clone from Sudan’s promise? Did you not check his ear?

Kanu will be very disappointed in you.

Well, I have learnt in life to give respect to whom respect is due. I know about the cloning accusation, however I have to exercise caution when accusing as I have no evidence. If he is cloned one-day he will be exposed. I also don't like his policy as he does not think of SME's while bringing out terrible policies that affects doing business. For sure he is a terrible president I have ever known but I don't need to disrespect the office.

What makes journalism great is when they don't take side. Many Nigerian trust BBC, VOA, and other foreign media not because they're foreign but because they don't take sides. Many people don't watch NTA network news except our politicians. Same with state TV nets as they artificially continue to praise the sitting governor. Don't worry Nairaland will soon fall because of lack of transparency. Others can capitalize on this weakness soon
Politics / Re: Malami: Nnamdi Kanu Discharged, Not Acquitted by cybertruss(m): 3:24am On Oct 15, 2022
Malami is trying to change English word ooo. Discharged means to release. So therefore he should be released. It appears that Malami didn't pass English exam in law school. The Appeal Court have squashed other charges. So currently there are no charges.

FG is expected to cook up new charges that cannot stand except for Malami.

This proves one thing. It seems that Malami is Supreme court. He single handedly imposed by force against the will of the people the governor of Imo state. He want to do the same thing for MNK.

It's interesting.Let us see whether it would work. No need arguing. Action is stronger than words

Nigeria is really a banana republic. It's a shame
