UEFA have made their investigations, Premier League have either done theirs or waiting for the outcome of the appeal but either way, if City are found guilty, then they may take it up

UEFA's FFP rules are similar to Premier league rules so if they are well and truly found guilty, the Premier league will have no option than to pass their own sentence

So EPL has to wait for UEFA to find them guilty before taking action? .... I understand the evidence was leaked by a hacker or so but that shows their level of incompetence.

Yes it has legal backing. Only the Supreme Court can review and set aside it’s own judgement. The review happens if the parties involved think judgment was passed in error. And when you apply for review, you must back it up with reason.

I think fresh elections will be ordered in both Zamfara and Bayelsa according the Section 140(b) of the electoral act, while the decision of Imo will remain as it is according to Section 140(c) of the electoral act.
My opinion.

Electoral act does not supersede the constitution, get that into your head.

In IMO state it was a post election issue and the court only computed the votes that was alleged to be cancelled and the ones not added which gave the present governor a lawful margin to win and by the electoral act the court can declare him winner.

A lawful margin that made cast votes greater than the accredited votes? Just listen to yourself. The same SC said Uche Nwosu was the authentic APC flag bearer, same Supreme Court Hope Uzodimma won the governorship on APC platform.

APC is guilty in the case of bayelsa but the judgement was poor the Supreme Court should have nullified the election won by APC and instruct inec to conduct a fresh election within 90days.

Why will SC instruct INEC to conduct election in 90 day’s?

In the case when the deputy was impeached, both has taken oath of office already, so it’s not the same. Study your constitution very well.

The constitution states that you must have a running mate before contesting. So when you have a running that does not meet the requirements, it means you don’t have a running mate. That’s why both the running mate and the flag bearer was sacked.

Jot appeal, Supreme Court can reverse its judgment if she founds that judgement was delivered in error. Check the relevant section of the constitution quoted by Ihedioha legal team.

The supreme court never mentioned anything forgery ...They man never forged any document ...,they all belong to him....nobody has come out to claim they are owner of those document. No institution has said they are forged. The supreme court used words like inconsistency ....which is different from forgery....Why suoreme court used the word inconsistency is that some of his document had other names or tittle....but since no one is claiming those document, the man is right ...he didn't break the law. After all same supreme court told us that Mahamadu and Mohammed buhari is same person cos Mohamadu is same as Mohammed in islam. Who said he could not prove it. Perhaps he was not given ample time to get the documents required for proof or was just lackadaisical about the whole thing so felt it did not matter since it was no forgery.

Now that he has seen the seriousness all required documents for proof may have been gotten now.

If he proved it, High Court and Supreme Court wouldn’t have sacked him.

If the court finds him guilty, then he and his boss should step aside. But my fear is that immunity already covers them, my opinion though because I don’t really know the legal implication.

Judges are human and they are not infallible. The review of the case filed by Ihedioha was backed up by some relevant sections of the constitution.
