RomanceRe: Feminist Love by Cyclone5(m): 12:26am On Jun 23, 2008
But isn't it true that there are a lot of woman who count on a man to be dominant and the provider. Infact, I would go as far as saying a majority of women in Naija have that expectation. Whether its society or just their mentality it is there. And guys have to understand and work with it.

I was referring to things that might initiate kissing.
RomanceRe: Nigerian Guys Cannot French Kiss! by Cyclone5(m): 11:45pm On Jun 22, 2008
Americans get sexual at a pretty early age. Hence they get in plenty of kissing practice. Whether its 'spin the bottle' or 'playing doctor'.

cyclone who said we were kissing every guy we met?? don't believe no one posted that.
Who said all Naija guys cant french? I do believe that has been posted over and over again. Lets take a poll. Let the babes tell us what percentage of their Naija lovers or dates have been such poor kissers.
RomanceRe: Feminist Love by Cyclone5(m): 11:19pm On Jun 22, 2008
All these guys for naija who no want feminists should just work harder and employ househelps to sort out the domestic chores. If you travel abroad you need to get with the programme. You gotta treat that woman right.

But whatever you want to call yourself, who brings the golden nuggets can make free at the local store anyhow. So if you want to be a feminist babe you need to bring your dough to the table. If the guy is bringing it then you better grow thick skin on your knees.

LiteratureRe: Tell Me What You Think by Cyclone5(m): 12:03am On Jun 22, 2008
I get the meaning of it - Experience is the best teacher. Its a provocative take on it too. But its written in verse and so has to be considered on those merits. It didnt have any rhythm at all and didnt really express any original thoughts. The use of verse served to keep things truncated but didnt really add any poignancy, since there wasnt any imagery employed.

I think you certainly were getting at something but the medium didnt really convey your thoughts. Essay format might have been a better way to go about it.

genius33:
In that case if someone wants to agree to that they can, now that we've come full circle I'll state my opinion as: playing hard to get and being cautious are two different things, Teasing someone or playing games is uncalled for, like I said before if you like them be straight with them. Just be sure of them first, before becoming emotionally involved in a relationship.
Sometimes you can get emotionally caught up even before you really know the other person. I suppose thats attraction for you. Then the sex just seals some kind of commitment. But I agree. Be cautious at all times and there never any need to tease.

RomanceRe: Playing Hard To Get: Is It Really Necessary? by Cyclone5(m): 7:33pm On Jun 21, 2008
The first date doesn't have to be the time you meet so it all depends on how you get to know each other. If you're ready and the guy aint where you at then you pull back. If he's ready and you aint then you say no. If you're both ready then 'hard to get' just means doing without. On your own head be it.
