If you are using jelly bean no app is required to capture screen, just press and hold the power button + lower volume button at the same time. Make sure you press and hold both at the same time. Then check your picture gallery for the screen shot.

Haba, even n7 with less impressive specs doesn’t go for 23k.

I don't know why people are complaining of battery drainage when their hd screen phone is always on 3g, maximum brightness, with many apps running simultaneously and even background syncing going on. I used htc sensation xl and under the same conditions, the battery drainage is almost the same as the f7.

If longest battery life is your priority, then disable 3g, background syncing, unnecessary notifications and reduce playing graphic intensive games. You can't eat your cake and have it.

There's no phone with 720*1280 hd screen at this same budget as f7 with continous 3g browsing and heavy usage that will last more than a day.

Don't also forget that new batteries requires several discharge cycles to achieve optimum performance.

So stop whining and prioritize what you really want from your phone.

Believe me, its not asking too much. The thl w100 costs 160 dollars and its quad core o!. The tecno is even priced close to higher powered phones. Imagine the xperia S is now 38k. Just 3k difference. And only a learner wont know thats a very terrific deal for 38k. So tecno can do better with the price really.

Guy, try to be fair in your comparison.

1. Tecno F7 is a full HD 720*1280 screen while THL W 100 is 540*960 screen.

2. Tecno F7 has a longer-lasting 2100mh battery while thl w100 has 1800 mh battery

3. Tecno F7 comes with a free power bank that normally costs around N4,000 (though thl comes with two batteries, a power bank is more convenient and useful than extra batteries)

4. Tecno F7 has after sales support and customer care services availlable with qualified engineers working there, thl has no presence in Nigeria, if your THL develop fault, you are on your own.

5. The cost of THL is actually 170 dollars plus shipping etc etc that the total cost will be up to 30k in naira plus certain risks associated with importation, compared to f7 phone available in Nigeria for 33k, bundled with powerbank + flip case that worths about 4k, plus the services of customer care/engineers paid for by tecno.

Look at the specifications of this phone. The components they used to build the phone is not made from air, it costs them money(CPU, camera, HD screen, GPU etc etc) plus the fact that they in business to make profit.

Tecno is not among the top 100 brands that are able to directly compete with Samsung. They are not in the same league. Tecno may be doing well in Nigeria, but globally speaking, it's a different story. Even here in Nigeria, many people are ashamed to say they are using tecno, that's why they are happy when tecno did not display their logo on the front of f7.

When you are using phone, it consumes RAM. That's normal.

4gb ROM doesn't mean 4gb internal memory. Okay? They are different. The ROM is used by the phone OS (android) and it allocates 1gb for internal memory available for the user.


If you remember,only 175mb is available to user in the 512 ROM of the tecno n3. The os consumes the rest.
