alofine_65: hello guys,can anyone help with this:i downloaded film on my lappy and then transfered it to my sd card on my f7 but i found out that the action is faster than the speech when am watching it on my phone but when i watched it on pc it wasnt like that.it worked perfectly ok.what could cause this,anyone?

Whats the format of the film, what player are you using and what is the resolution of the film. all these factors affect video play on android phones.

I recommend you download mxplayer from playstore(it plays most formats flawlessly), ensure your movies are in popular formats like mp4, avi, divx, (formats like mkv dont usually play well on mobile). and ensure that the resoultion of the movie is not too high (720 max) or else you mobile phone may not play it properly.

This freak show is getting interesting. Two bible scholars are proving from the same bible that hell exists and hell doesnt exist, both proven from the same bible. Interesting indeed.

So, I dont have much to share. Moreover, thats why I love so much to have USB OTG on my next Tecno smartphone. It will enable me move movies conveniently from the phone to hdd and vice versa.

The word is out that the next version of android (key lime pie) will natively support USB OTG and several other cool features. Let's just hope tecno will provide upgrade to f7.

The dispute isn't if the F7 is a great smartphone at its price or not. I wanted to buy this phone initially until I saw the Gionee Dream D1 which even has a quad core processor (like the S3) but lemme tell you no matter how great the current crop of budget/mediatek powered smartphones are they no match for the Android kings. My phone only makes me hunger for a more powerful droid and my phone is better than the F7.

All in all let us call a spade a spade, F7 is nice but it is not in the same league with the Galaxy S3/S4.

So what now happens if a better phone with better specs than gionee comes out at equal price point. All of a sudden your gionee becomes an inferior phone?

guy there is a way to charge your battery upon first use...and if you make any mistake in not following that ...then the batery may not retain power....for life....also there are other things that can make your battery go bad.....and infact it maybe that it was not followcome battery u are using.....remember this is nigeria.......just try get another battery and be careful with it........tecno is known for there good quality battery and if there would be flop in this there f7, it would not be as much as you people arre dsicribing it to be

Bros, thanks for your advice, but in my case I followed all the rules for first charging. I'm sure many people here knows about first charging rule. The problem with f7 is that the phone capacity and power consumption (hd screen, 5inch, 3g dual sim, crisp clear display etc) far exceeds the 2100mah battery they bundled with it.

Maybe I was not fortunate enough to get a not-so-good battery. Though it was sealed and untouched when I bought it, with untouched tecno seal.

I even went to their CC to complain, I was told there's nothing they can do as there's no extra f7 battery available.

The reason why I am stating this is warn potential buyers to be very careful when buying this machine, to know exactly what they might experience if not so lucky. It's a very good phone,I must say, except for quick battery drainage issues I have with it.

We spent our hard earned cash to buy something that has a dissatisfactory battery performance and we should lie that everything is okay.?

And to make it worse, their CC can't do anything about it.

Try and spend 34k, buy something that gives you headache and let's see if you will talk like this.

I went to their Carl care, I even wanted to buy a new battery from them but they said they don't have a new battery for f7. That's frustrating.
