hisblud: again i ask thee, have you SURVEYED all the vastness of the universe to come to that conclusion? With what yardstick did you come to that conclusion? What if I tell you YES? I have studied from those who studied and SURVEYED all the vastness of the universe and actually know more about the universe than the authors of religious holy books could have imagined. Are you happy now? |

Now, don't tell me he has always existed and doesn't require a Creator, cos you might as well tell me the dust has always existed and also doesnt require a Creator. |

Just be patient, our gurus in the house will figure it out once the phone gains popularity. But I guess the method used on N7 should work on it. Mr anony: Sensual enjoyment? There's something fishy about you always claiming that religion is what's keeping from immorality and sexxual (or sensual) irresponsibility. It speaks volumes about the kind of person you really are. |

Uyi Iredia: There is no clear, indubitable evidence that heaven exists. However, the thought of dying without ever living again is saddens me, sometimes to the point of depression. My dear, you don't have to be depressed by this. If anything it should motivate you to maximise this only life you've got. This is what motivates me. I prefer to face reality and make the best of what I have rather than comfort myself with imaginary fantasy. |
Religion / Re: What Does An Atheist Believe Happens After Death? by cyrexx: 7:41am On May 25, 2013 |
striktlymi: so what does your religion implies when it teaches that "what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his soul"?
Your dog and your car are real tangible things that needs no imaginations before you can relate to them. You can't say the same for religious concept of afterlife. A perfect scam is the one that promise to reward you when you are dead and become non-existent. Religion is a big time fraud.
There's ooman's flying watching over you day and night. He will reward and judge you when you are dead. You have to believe this because it is true even though you cannot prove it scientifically. How does that sound? That's exactly the way religious claims sound to the non-religious. |
Religion / Re: What Does An Atheist Believe Happens After Death? by cyrexx: 7:10am On May 25, 2013 |
striktlymi: Abrahamic religions, namely Christianity and Islam. Except you are not a devout adherent of these religions will you not value afterlife more than the present life.
millions of people have died over the course of human history, there is no single credible evidence that they continue to exist anywhere else in any universe. there is no single proof that human consciousness survives the death and decay of the brain. |

Religion / Re: The Timeline Of Religious Invention. by cyrexx: 5:48am On May 25, 2013 |
Mr anony: I said God, according to the imaginations of the religious, did nothing to reveal himself to humans until 6,000 years ago. if you have any reference to earlier historical records of the Jews and their imaginary Yahweh before this time, pls let me know.
Seriously, you expect non-christians to take that book seriously? the book that says to murder your your daughter if she's not a virgin on her wedding night? the book that says all manknd are a result of incestuous products of children of Adam and Eve? The book that says the world will end in the lifetime of audiences of Jesus in the first century? Pls, dont get me started on how unreliable and irrelevant that book is when making rational discussions. Quoting those verses as evidence of God revealing himself to mankind is as good as quoting Harry Potter as evidence of the fact that Lord Voldemort reveals himself to mankind. Besides, the world has been existing billions of years before religions and their imaginary Gods came on the scene. So telling me that the world is an evidence of the religious Gods is completely out of whack.
I am getting confused here: Christianity's worldview is: Repent, the kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus is coming soon. Anony is saying here that: Repent, the kingdom of God may not be at hand, Jesus may come soon or not. 1 Like |
Religion / Re: The Timeline Of Religious Invention. by cyrexx: 7:12am On May 19, 2013 |
Mr anony: Actually my post is not about end of the universe as religionists firmly believe, it's about questioning the rationality of belief in a supposed omnipotent creator waiting for like 200,000 years doing "nothing" before waking up 6,000 years ago (about 600 years ago in the case of Africans) to realise that "O, I need to reveal myself to these humans before they lose their souls in hell" What rational being (of course, you know I am merely assuming here that humans were created by a god) will create hominids 2.5 million years ago and made them fully evolved intelligent beings 200,000 years ago and do nothing till about 6,000 years ago (or otherwise about 600 years ago for Africans) to reveal himself to them? Are you getting my point? Secondly, looking at this in another light, considering all the apocalyptic and "end of days" emphasis of your christianity worldview, tell me, Mr Anony, do you think it's reasonable for you christians to assume our universe will last that long? |
Religion / The Timeline Of Religious Invention. by cyrexx: 7:57am On May 18, 2013 |
The universe came into existence about 13 billions years ago….. The earth came into existence about 4 billion years ago….. Life on earth came into existence about 3 billions years ago Hominids came into existence about 2.5 million years ago… Homo sapiens came into existence about 200, 000 years ago….. Monotheism came into existence about 6000 years ago…. Christianity came into existence about 2000 years ago……. Islam came into existence about 1500 years ago……. Islam and Christianity came into Africa about (earliest) between 800-200 years ago…. The question is….. so after creating the universe and the earth billions of years ago, Big brother had to wait so long to show himself to Africans? The religious tales told by the Arabs and the Jews cannot be believed by any thinking person. ~ Harlem Ofiamaumaasu Buggatti. 6 Likes |
Religion / Prayer Is Not The Blackman’s Solution! by cyrexx: 7:31am On May 17, 2013 |
I got this from a friend's facebook post and I believe it's worth sharing: If prayer really works like my religious friends and foes insist, then the Black-race would have been on top of the modern world for centuries. I can guarantee you that there is no other race on the face of the earth that prays more earnestly and feverously than the Black race. No other race of people has more bruises on their knees from kneeling instead to standing up, than the black race; no other race of people on earth during their life time has kept their eyes glued shut staring into darkness longer than the black race; no other race of people on earth have kept their hands clasped doing nothing to help themselves than the Black-race, & no other race of people on earth has spend more time with their lips quivering begging an invisible man in the sky to send some magical help to solve their problems than the black-man . As a matter of fact there is no other race of people in the history of mankind who has so happily & faithfully prays to so many different gods that belong to their many former slave masters, than the blackman. They even pray and believe in the existence of the gods of their former slave master’s/oppressors more than their former slave master/oppressors believe in these gods. So I say again, if prayer really works then the Black-race would have been on top of the modern world for centuries. The whole of Africa would today be the greatest super-power the world has ever seen. Not one black baby would be starving to death as you sit in you comfortable home reading this post, not one inch of Africa’s soil would be occupied by the imperialist invaders, not one of those beautiful African mothers would die giving birth to a beautiful African child. All incurable diseases would need a visa to enter Africa, the world would be looking to Africa for financial and food aid; I can go on forever but you get the idea. Africans how many more centuries will it take before you come to grips with yourself and realize that what you have been doing to solve your problems for the last 2000 years is not working? Only a fool keeps practicing a known failed routine and expects a successful result! Africa it is time to get up off your knees and stand up to your problems yourself like humans should Africa it is time to open your eyes and face the reality of your problems yourself like humans should Africa it is time to unclasped your hands and solved your problems yourself like humans should Africa it is time to stop talking to invisible men in the sky and start speaking to visible humans here on earth about ways to solve your problems yourself like humans should. Africans your life and the future of your children depend on you and your hard work as a human being, & not some invisible man in the sky or anywhere else. So get up off your knees and live like the mighty race that you are or stay on your knees and die like the animal that the other races want you to be 9 Likes |

Phones / HP Announces Slatebook X2 Android Tablet With Detachable Keyboard by cyrexx: 8:11am On May 15, 2013 |
Great news for android tablet users.. Today, HP is announcing SlateBook x2. We're basically looking at a standard 10-inch Android tablet, but in the configuration of what HP is calling a "two-in-one device" that has a keyboard dock. As is usually the case, the tablet is completely contained as a stand-alone device, with a 1920x1200 IPS display, Tegra 4 processor and 64GB of storage. The SlateBook x2 is also shipping with Android 4.2.2, and what looks like very limited customizations from HP -- it even goes so far as to say this is "HP’s push to offer access to the Google experience". The docking station has a full keyboard and trackpad, along with a USB port, SDcard slot and an additional battery to charge the tablet get more info at http://www.androidcentral.com/hp-announces-slatebook-x2-android-tablet-detachable-keyboard |
