No. I am saying open your eyes and heart and understand the motives that led to early Christians creating a celebration called Christmas to commemorate the birth of Jesus.

Many early Christians gave their lives to propagate the Christianity you and I profess today. It is a disservice to them for us who are having it easy now to disparage actions they took to eradicate idolatry and inculcate Christ centered living into the souls they won for Christ.

Yes Christmas day wasn't the day Christ was born, neither did he ask anyone to celebrate it. But what was the motive behind its initial introduction? It was to save souls, to preach Christ and eradicate idolatry.

If we want to argue about Christianity solely on what is written in the Bible, then even our entire Christian faith would be torn to shreds by people like Freeze. Jesus never preached a religion called Christianity did he?

Freeze is not attacking Christians. He's attacking doctrines in Christianity that have no basis in the scriptures. And this is what every true Christian should do, except if the scripture isn't your standard anymore.

Just one question. Did Jesus write one single line in these "scriptures?" Is there a single book in the Bible written by Jesus? Does the Bible record everything Jesus ever did? Where is the report of his life between his birth and age 12; and between age 13-29?

If some of you would stop trying to be more righteous than God. Then you would see the good motive that led the early believers to replace what was an ungodly celebration with one centered around Christ. They were winning souls for Christ by helping unbelivers replace a bad habit with a good one. Mou taking off an offensive player, Lingard and replacing with a defensive player, Herera when up by a man and a goal is unacceptable. United represents ideals and values. I think people have a misconception about Herrera. He is not a defensive midfielder but a box to box central midfielder. That's why you see him go forward more than Matic. He came on and Pogba pushed forward into the no.10 position Lingard was playing . It gave Pogba the room to move forward even more. We still created goalscoring chances after he came on, so it is no excuse.

But like you said, we keep going. GGMU

Same point I was making after the Bristol City game. These players lack the passion and aren't playing like they know the significance of the badge they wear. They are an entitled bunch of youngsters who think they can just show up and win because they play for a big club like United. Totally gutless.
