yanshless: I don't know if I may be right but I've observed that Femi Falana always tends to quickly show some sort of morbid interest in matters that circles around a troubled IBO figure. He will then champion it or rekindle its flames to national prominence. Ha.
Check his records. Of late is the Odua predicament and now this Chime wife.
Are there not lots of prominent Yoruba Otunbas maltreating their wives or people? Can't he champion these ones?

I disagree with the choice of Ameachi as VP on the following grounds

1. He doesn't have a large amount of supporters. Most voters in Ameachi's region will vote GEJ anyway; so what leverage does Ameachi have?

2. A more competent administrator should be VP to Buhari. I don't see why Fashola should be overlooked on the basis of religion. June 12, a muslim/muslim ticket won against a Muslim/Xtian ticket.

meine: Congrats Op, you seem to have a good girl on your hand and you have a lot working for you like she lives close to you and you know her best friend. That being said there is no timetable for marriage, you just know it and what works for A cant work for B. People can date for 3 months and they would have seen each other 30 times,while i know a couple who are getting married in December and have never seen each other at all though it sounds weird.

Just be prayerful, detach your emotions, forget her positives and focus on her negatives,can you live with them?. Move ahead whenever you are sure, if your mind says one year then go for one year.

Obrafour: Private Universities like Central, Vallew View and Ashesi are also competitive.
Don't forget, the colleges in Nigeria can't take all students, this in my opinion make them opt for Ghanaian instituitions as well.

Sloan: I think DEFINITELY but Pastor Kumuyi has a different calling and he probably will not be interested in Politics, the type that is being played in Nigeria. But in terms of POLITICAL leadership, out of the ones that have shown ANY type of interest and honestly without sentiments:

1. Buhari - for almost 30 years after being military president and in being in the public space, NO ONE has ever been able to mention his name in any corruption deal! Whereas there are lots of Nigerians who did not even complete 2 years in the public space and their corruption is blown right into the knowledge of the entire world.

2. Nuhu Ribadu - He is so incorruptible, he had LOTS of opportunities to STEAL money or just take stolen money - bribe (not stealing according to GEJ), rather he takes the entire $15 M to the CBN and reports the case and prosecutes the man involved. Never done in the history of Nigeria.

3. Tunde Bakare - You will probably have to kill him only to discover that he still refuses to take the money , steal it or accept the bribe.

4. Col. Umar - don't know much about him in the political space but in the public space he is one person who did not care if he disagreed with his people so far as he spoke the truth the way he saw it.

5. Governor Fashola - Given his pedigree, I would add his name here too. What is known of his lifestyle, his utterances and his performance does not suggest someone who is being bribed but I realize we will know more after he completes his tenure.

salt 1: I have a very beautiful but imperfect marriage!
I also have lovely but demanding children.

Good as the marriage is, I have my moments
Times when I wish I wasn't married! (when I am annoyed)
Times when I feel resentful of the children! (even though they are wonderful gifts)

But then I rally again and fall in love all over with my family! Until the next misunderstanding!

Instead of thinking of marriage as a destination where you arrive and live happily ever after, I think of mine as a journey that has the good, the bad and the ugly

But I CHOOSE to be happy in it. After all, it's for the long haul and I entered as a mature, consenting adult
