Before you guys perform the magic with employing the youths in your oversized bellies and pockets, lets talk about the fuel subsidy fraud you guys rode to power n its back. It is becoming a huge worry for me and I wholeheartedly plead my ignorance and can make do with some honest clarification on the subject matter.


First off, how much was budgeted for the so-called fraud of a fuel subsidy you guys berated GEJ's administration for and campaigned with successfully into power.

During GEJ's last budget presentation for 2015, I can still recall the subsidy budget was in the region of 100+ billion Naira at a crude oil bench mark of 50-60 naira while we were purchasing from pump at 97# which was later reduced to 87#.

I remember how this present administration then in the opposition cried blue murder over this subsidy issue being a ruse and an avenue to siphon our collective patrimony because there was according to the present ruling party nothing to be subsidised.

Now the present budget has been presented with a ×3 for this same fuel subsidy they claimed was a farce and pump price of fuel is over × 2 of what this administration met it.

In fact the whole matter tire me abeg I no fit understand again.

Perhaps there'd be some one on here with a working knowledge to explain what is truly going on with all of the gibberishes we keep getting fed with.

This country needs some total cleansing from top yo bottom and I'm afraid to say it won't be a bloodless cleansing.

Enough has got to be enough..

If you hadn't embarked on this project already i'd have advised you against it honestly.

This popular idea of four flats for tenement in Benin is a huge misnomer my brother and i call it tying down of funds.

When you sum up the total amount you'd have spent putting up the building and then compare with the expected returns, you'd understand where I am driving at. Mind you, the guarantee that your four flats will be always occupied annually is equal to zilch.

Now think about the location of your proposed investment and the going rate of rentals there. Do you see yourself breaking even in the next 10 years or any significant appreciation to your property within this time frame, if yes at what %?

This idea of four flat is a mistake a whole lot of us had made in the past and many more still make the mistake. We need to learn to think out of the box and seek out other ways to invest our monies.

You need to come to Benin to see 'houses to let' all over...people are building their personal cubicles to stay on a daily.

A project like this is advisable in Lagos and Abuja.

I am presently in Abuja for the Yuletide and just paid for an Apartment a 2 Bedroom for 1 Million Naira on the outskirts ooo mind you. In some areas that could have been 1,5-2 Million depending on the aesthetics of the building.

I have a place in Benin too and could help you compare prices whenever I can if you want, but be careful how you deal with your brother or having someone else take over from him. He won't be happy and might wanna cause that person harm for robbing him of his ATM.
