oromankirisi: The following men, were detailed to arrest the Head of State General Buhari during General Babangida's Coup of 1985. They are:
Major Umar Dangiwa, Major Lawan Gwadabe, Major Abdulmumuni Aminu and Major Sambo Dasuki (Sambo Dasuki is the present National Security Adviser) . Now you have reminded us of the valiant and fearless men that saved nigerian from domm and from the clutches of heartless, brutal and tyrant dictator, a brutish leader that almost plunged the country into another civil war. You have shown us men that have ensured that you and your folks are enjoying today. Even buhari himself has openly repented of his actions as a military ruler, so what exactly is the point of listing them on the front page here? Is it for you and your likes to villify them or what? I think buhari should know better, if you and your likes do not have respect for heroes, some of us including buhari do! We are blessed still! |

This is a wakeup call to all those who believe Saint Jonathan is incapable of evil, shame on them for this barbaric act. Just sit back and watch the well oiled robots attack me.....
Omenka why na .....................you know its really shocking how some of you guys reason and analyse issues! Most times you apply this very parochial thought process that is amazingly disappointing to state the least; for goodness sakes, the fact that there's freedom of information, is it a reason for any passerby to take a snap shot of the presidents house in a volatile area like bayelsa and the person should not be apprehended? I guess he should also walk into his bedroom and snapp him and his wife because he is a journalist and a punch reporter at that! Let hi go and get us the pictures of all the low rise and high rise products of loot that your godfathers has erected in lagos without proper security clearance and see if he will not receive a worst treatment than this! You guys really need to humble yourselves and study harder, knowledge is critical especially when you have to criticize people rather blindly! |

Secondly...the governor single handedly chose him as candidate despite all odds and yet this is how to repay him?
Let the deputy turned governor remember that kwankwasiya is a movement....fight him at your own peril...learn from the humility of the past ...half a word is enough.
Kwankwaso is loved by his people home n abroad for the quality of infrastructure he is leaving behind..not the money in the coffers. Money is meant to be spent for the good of the people . ....................I couldn't help but respond to this; so my because kwankwaso nominated him to cover his loot and he decided to spill the beans , then he should be crucified? So because of the so called corruption ridden kwankwaso movement which is riddled with deceipt., propaganda, and lies, his deputy turned governor who has surprisingly decided to open-up to the masses should be afraid? This is one of PDP'S usual dumb and silly propagandas. . Please try and reas in between the lines without any form of bias. She said they were invited as comunity women leaders to come for a meeting with the governor in owerri. While at the venue, they were told that the imo state council of traditional rulers (the faction lead by eze ilomunanya who was wrongly deposed by okorocha, but later re-instated by the supreme court) were coming to use the venue, hence the women were told to narricade the venue. What they did not tell the women was that the traditional rulers were scheduled to meet with the president and commander in chief of the armed forces, that was the deceipt, by the time they got to know they had already started the barricade, and I believe the press probably arranged by okorochas government had documented there actions. And it was a star studded spectacular night of fantastic musical and comic performances by both older and younger musicians and comedians, including King Sunny Ade, Sir Victor Uwaifo, Orit Wiliki, Ras Kimono, Gordons, Klint the Drunk, Funny Bone, Harrysong, Kcee, Oritse Femi, Dbanj, Timi Dakolo and Waje. And almost all the most celebrated Nollywood stars were there, but Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Kate Henshaw were missing at the event coordinated by President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Mrs. Ibinabo Fiberesima-Egbuka and her immediate predecessor Segun Arinze who made the event a night to remember. Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ayo Makun, aka AY of "30 Days in Atlanta" fame were comperes and they were very good. Famous singers Yinka Davies and Waje interacted with me as we sat around our table with famous actor Joseph Benjamin and another actor.
President Jonathan came with his special entourage, including Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, Tony Elumelu, Chairman, Heirs Holdings; Mr Jim Ovia, Chairman, Zenith Bank Plc and Jimi Agbaje, gubernatorial candidate of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) for Lagos who interacted with several people. I waited until after the event to say hello and we shook hands with "Up Gregs!" the common praise chant used by both present and old students of the famous St. Gregory's College, Lagos.
Interacting with President Goodluck Jonathan and Jimi Agbaje did not change my mind on my decision to endorse and support the presidential flag bearer lof the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen.
