Thanks for the feedback. hayor2014: .
around 80 of us were in the hall, speaker was very audible, though I learnt that they just acquired head phones for use in the listening test,it's basically same way with BC.. |

LOL. This simply shows that no one is perfect, we can only strive to be perfect. We should always correct one another in love and not with sarcasm or disdain. Hakuna Matata. ysteph: Canadian fly you too?
Asses?
quote author=Canadianfly post=65331115]
Y'all are some sensitive bunch. Abeg leave DICKtator alone. Dude spoke the truth. That was an epic post hahahaha
The truth is bitter, but most Nigerians write very poorly. Using the wrong spellings and words. Example of the common mistakes people make in their writing are:
Choose vs. chose - folks don't know which one is present or past.
I'm vs. Am - Nigerians love to write Am instead of I'm. That na epic fail
Advise vs. Advice - one is a verb the other na noun.
Asses vs. Access - well this one depends on your dialect and H factor-ness
The list goes on. Truth is, once you miss the correct spellings and use of words at primary school level, good luck tryna gain it back in life. Also for those of una wey dey plan go back to school when you reach Canada, just know that North American education is highly dependent on writing papers. Them no be like Naija and Britain wey dey give exam every time. You can be asked to submit a paper every week in Canada, and if you dey write all these yeye words, na serious F you go dey get. There's no sorting lecturer or sleeping with professor either |

Hi Bro, congrats on the successful outcome of your remark. Please I need some clarification regarding writing IELTS at MOD IDP. Like how many people were in your center? Was their speaker(s) audible enough? Is their way of conduct of exam same as BC's or different? Any other useful info? Thank you hayor2014: Thank God for me and join me in celebrating.. MOD IDP remark came after 10days and writing was increased, new Crs is 449,and I av got my money back....result now is LRSW 8.5, 7,7.5,7.....for people who think IDP is to be avoided.....I think I would rather pay 46K and know my fate than 15K and wait 12weeks... |

Hi, did u really mean January 20 result? I thought EOR takes 10-12 weeks to be ready. tosinkay: Good day house
Please if there is any change in your result after eor, will they update it on there online platform for checking result as well?
Because i sent my January 20th result for remarking and today i got email that my result has been return after two weeks and when i checked online this morning the result is the same as it was before. Does that means no upgrade or what?
Please help with what might be the issue? |

Thanks a bunch. I will book another test by God's grace. However, am seeking a remark cos I'm very sure of what I did on that exam day. My only fear was in writing. Am at BC right now to submit my EOR. I'm believing God for a miracle in the listening too. BTW, I open I can update my profile with this result / reference number pending I write another test or receive my updated scores? Though it may tarry, it will surely come. Hakuna Matata chizilulu: It will definitely end in praise, don't give up. I had a 7.5 in listening after maxing all the other modules in my 1st test. I was shocked because I was so sure of my answers. I literally cried my eyes out from that midnight I saw my result till dawn. It can be painful but don't be discouraged. Remarking listening could be counterproductive since its an objective test. I suggest you book for another test and try again. God's grace and blessings. |

We didn't really notice IP1, not even after medicals passed, so either we missed it or it was NA all through, most likely the later cos we were watching that thing like hawks.
Anyway, na my own remain now.
Based on this, I have a serious question, if mine doesn't come out by the time we get married, will he have to notify them? I have seen cases of people adding their spouses after COPR but before landing but never a case where the spouse had also submitted an application. Your thoughts? |

@nusetron, baba you too much.
Few questions please..
Did you submit your mutual fund statement of account with this letter or just the letter alone? Did you use your mutual fund account for 100% of your POF or part of it?
Cheers

OK, but a mutual fund reference letter wouldn't have 6 months average balance. Please, can someone who has used mutual fund as POF share a sample of the letter submitted to IRCC? Thanks ysteph: Yes. The letter must be in IRCC format as stated in the website. The website said financial institution. It must not be bank only.
Non Bank Financial Institution (i.e. ARM Investment Limited) that manages Mutual Funds. I believe the letter they would issue would have the wordings of a regular bank reference letter and also also the date account was opened and amount of funds one has therein. This is fine right? |
