European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Manchester United Vs Sunderland (3 - 0) On 26th September 2015 by DaGC(m): 4:35pm On Sep 26, 2015
I'm not just saying this because he has an assist in this game, but I think this kid called Martial is freaking impressive!! He probably would have scored a couple and added another assist if things went his way. Kid is strong, fast, quick on the feet, smart and NOT SELFISH!!!

I actually doubted him when I saw the price paid for him, but I'm beginning to thing Van Gaal got this one right. Great lad.
CultureRe: Ikenwoli Godfrey-Emiko Is New Olu Of Warri by DaGC(m): 11:50am On Sep 20, 2015
May his reign be a blessing to his people.

Its usually a hereditary post, but the 1st son of the late Olu didn't fulfill a certain condition by birth.

Earlier at the gathering, several eyes had been on Prince Tsola Emiko, first son of the departed Atuwatse II, who came with Toju and Nere, his siblings to the gathering.
By the hereditary appeal of the throne, the uninformed persons present at the gathering had expected Tsola as the automatic successor.
However, Pessu who announced the Olu designate clarified that Tsola was not qualified to succeed the father in line with other expectations a son must meet to succeed his father as Olu.
The Ojomo of Warri said, “By the tradition, a son who must succeed his father must be born of a mother who must not be outside of Itsekiri or Benin by birth, origin. This is a standing tradition and the son does not fulfill this requirement.
Prof. Jim Omatseye added: “In the event that a son is not qualified to succeed the father, the princes of the kingdom from the three ruling houses, Ginuwa, Erejuwa and Ogiame, will choose among themselves who should take the throne. The lot fell on Prince Ikenwole Emiko and he is generally accepted by the Itsekiri nation.

Ufuos4Love:
So are you justifying their barbaric actions? U claimed to have read the post but unfortunately, u read what u wanted to read. It's very clear that the fulanis are the aggressors here and have the greater blame. Let me make it clear top you; A fulani cattle rearer invaded the farmland of a Tivman in the Tiv man's territory, destroying his crops with his cattle, there was a fight and the Tiv man killed the fulani and then other fulani's attacked the community killing a number of people.... E don clear?
The day he blamed Christian leaders for not doing enough to stop Boko Haram scourge was when I knew something was not right somewhere. So, please pay no heed.

It is that obvious. They should proffer solutions instead of just stating it.

This is another reason why I feel uneasy when people say GEJ didn't transform the ND. He was elected president of Nigeria and not President of the ND. I remember a certain person who couldn't provide good roads to Otta despite spending almost a decade at the seat of power. Same way Buhari and Yaradua couldn't provide a university for Katsina despite being in power, but GEJ did, and same way the North is highly impoverished despite ruling for the better part of Nigeria's 55years. But when GEJ's name is mentioned, some people get orgasms and are open to criticisms especially since its PMB issuing an implementation of the UNEP report on Ogoni.

Well, Nigeria will always be Nigeria. Hopefully, this administration ushers in more unity and prosperity.
PoliticsRe: Top Ten Nigerians To Have Ever Lived by DaGC(m): 12:36pm On Sep 10, 2015
It would always be difficult to have a fair top 10 greatest Nigerians.

Other people will include the Saduana Ahmadu Bello, Sir Tafawa Balewa, Obasanjo and Gowon, some of our religious men, GEJ, Blessing Okagbare, Murtala Mohammed, Taiwo (the dude that designed the flag), Okocha and Kanu, NOI and a whole lotta other Nigerians.

My dear, I didn't pray o, I don't even know how to pray sef
besides where I wan run go for safety ?
I was just totally blank, like a living dead, when we touched ground again, I didn't use flight again for almost a year, bus somehow still better, if accident occurs, so many can still survive, but if plane crash, who wan survive ?
I'm neither religious too. I meant prayers from the remaining people on board. They kept praying till we were outta the stairs.

I still travel a lot though. Air crashes and road accidents hasn't really stopped me. I've had a few road mishaps though.

Gosh! but the funny part was the lady who didn't reply u! hehehehehehehehehehehehe..... if Na u, u go reply? when person almost don go meet baba God, one winch dey beside u dey Laff, hahahahahahahah kikikikikikikikiki ....... she might even think u spiritually manipulated it.
Anyway my own horror was with Aero, truly when death comes, u go just confuse, 20mins far up in the air, all of a sudden the plane jerked and dropped with full force twice mid air, everyone around me started saying their last prayers, as for me, I was just totally blank, finally baba God put hand raise d plane up again we come reach Abj safely. Going back I just jejely enter bus, I can't fit shout abeg.
I suffered same fate some years back on a flight to Accra. Gravity can really f*ck with one's brain. It was a scary situation. The prayers on the flight that day would have consumed the entire population of demons in hell. Some people didn't stop praying till we got off the stairs.

Federal roads in the SS aint bad as most myopic people are suggesting. The last administration ensured that. Yes, I'm an avid traveler.

As for intercity roads, Uduaghan really carried last on that. To the point Deltans missed Ibori. The man had 8years for f*ck sakes angry and a federal government willing to do wonder for the state (Federal Uni, NIMASA dockyard, EPZ, Maritime Univ etc)!!!
undecided

There are still good roads though. The city shouldn't be the basis for judging Delta state.
PhonesRe: What Is The Worst Phone You've Ever Used Or Cant Recommend? by DaGC(m): 8:54pm On Sep 09, 2015
Every blackberry I've used except Z10.

Used 9700, 9300, 9900 and 9320. Hardly, the battery carries me half a day, even on minimal usage. Cant even plug headset and play music on it unless I want the battery to last less than that.

Z10 changed all that. I charge it before going out and most times it lasts till I get back home.

9300 (Curve 3) had a design issue. Its body breaks off after a couple months. Very annoying.

Good thing that I've always had other phones with me. smiley

It's ur kind that will come out to blame the president actions when he rush into it.
Then you'll here words like OBJ and Tinubu are controlling him.
Bro, with all the many allegations prior to the election/handing over, I expected at least 1 of GEJ's aides or officials to have been charged to court by now pending when the court will deliver judgement, but till now, sadly nothing. This is now the 4th month, accusations are still flying. Even the said EFCC chairman in the report is under surveillance sef.
