Hopefully, one of her roles or policies encourages female education and empowerment in the north. Back then Lamido instituted a free education policy for ladies including added incentives like free notebooks and laptops. It was lauded but extremely under utilized. We had about 2000males to about 300females then (rough estimate). Hopefully, the numbers would have increased by now. By the way, I see no difference in the official names. |
If you are not guilty, please stop all these court injunction to try and stop an investigation. It speaks otherwise. ![]() The innocent should have nothing to fear. |
$20b of public funds or private funds? People sending money home to their families or spending on their businesses shouldn't be thought of as public funds. We need more of their investments to further grow the economy. |
Women empowerment should really be encouraged in the north. Back then Lamido instituted a free education policy for women including added incentives like free notebooks and laptops. I feel sorry for the foreign students and international business enterprises. |
Welcome development. Although the part of 'only authorized government officials and VIPs' is kinda confusing. How will the VIPs be selected and who authorized the current deployed officers? Abi na another different police force authorize and charge VIPs for the current ones? ![]() |
I really hope we get to see other ways of raising revenue for the country. Even with the drop in oil price, everything is almost still being structured towards oil. |
Enough of the blame game already. Its been 3months. ![]() At least, the refineries have been services and working now, so lets move on with making Nigeria better. |
So basically, the crude oil swaps will still go on, but with newer terms and agencies. |
And the IGP, like the one before him, is relaxed and not getting queries. Rather, the President is expected to #BringBackOurGirls. |
I'm beginning to think that this BEDC is the problem, because people keep talking of improved power but mine has actually gotten worse to what I was accustomed to. Truth be told, I also think that commissioned power plants have started contributing their quota and not just the improved gas supply or the dam ish. |
Hopefully, it comes to fruition and on time too. Sucks that its hundred of MWs though. Nigeria needs thousands more. |
I've not seen Ekiti people calling him out like Osun, Rivers, Imo, Delta etc who call out their present and ex-governors, so I'm guessing his people are pleased. |
Well, what he just said was true though. A large percentage of Nigerians did give him their votes. |
I could say the same thing about Obj improving the lives of Otta residents, or of GEJ giving a university to Katsina despite PMB and Yaradua's reign etc. I'm pretty sure when we attended a marriage there bout 2years ago that I saw borehole tanks. Well, still they love their son. The LG chairman needs to answer some questions though. |
Dude, its casual date, so be casual. Just were something comfortable and have a good time. Worry less, live more. |

The government recently reported sharing more allocations and increased revenue despite the drop in oil prices, plus I'm sure they have plans to diversify into other revenue generating resources (that's if the campaign promises are anything to go by), plus the rise in the foreign reserves etc, I think we'll get through. We are survivors. Hopefully, by the end of the year, prices would have started rebounding. Not the 1st time oil prices have crashed. |
DONSMITH123:The points I like here. Religious and traditional leaders should steer clear of politics ans not be biased to their subjects. Secondly, elections have come and gone. Nigerians should move forward. Like he said 'what has happened has happened'. |
Good news. |
I'm a fan of the Galaxy S6/S6edge and the Xperia Z3 |
This is bad. Hopefully, the authorities will take notice and act on it. |
I actually had hope of him being the one capable of taking Greece from its present perils. He has worked hard extensively with leaders of European powers. Sucks that his own party officials are the ones fighting against him. |
Opinions differ. I think GEJ performed. As for the experience, I think he also has it considering he's been in government for many years. Yes, he was meek, which is why many Nigerians deem him weak. But till date, I have never seen so much federal presence in my state as I did under the GEJ administration. Makes me wish bad for my ex-governor. Been hearing so many allegations of corruption, but so far, none has stuck to GEJ, but officials in his administration. Rather than blame GEJ, I blame the NPF, ICPC and the EFCC for allowing such to happen. It was their job to tackle the corrupt issues of public officials. Same way I blame the NPF for the chibok kidnappings, same way Americans won't blame Obama for the Boston bombings amongst other things. Goodluck to PMB as he aspires to steer this country forward. #PeacefulNigeria #UnitedNigeria |
Please, if your hands are clean, don't try to stop inquiry/investigation into your activities or trying to get a court injunction to stop it. It sends a rather wrong message. |
I expected more than the N7.5b or even the N10b estimate, considering its 1 of the highest earning states in the country. |
Apparently, its now wrong for a lady to bend her knee and greet an elder. Well, cultures differ all over my Nigeria, but to my people, this is how ladies greet elderly men. |
Geez, so basically, we are supposed to believe that IBB and OBJ are more corrupt than Abacha. Haba, at least try to be a little truthful. |
The Nigerian and Indian ish made me laugh hard ![]() |
Co-operation, instead of Party Supremacy will be more beneficial to PMB's administration. |
I thought only INEC can decide who won elections....abi none of the senators get INEC certificate? ![]() |
