Oja mi lara jee. I will surely choose Nigeria over others. This is the reason: SOCIALISM: You have two cows, and you give one to your neighbor. COMMUNISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and gives you milk. FASCISM: You have two cows, the government takes both and sells you milk. NAZISM: You have two cows, the government takes them and kills you. CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and there is economic growth. You sell them, you retire and you live on your profits. MODERN CAPITALISM: You have two cows, you sell one and buy a male. You multiply your cows and you buy those of your neighbors. The latter become your shepherds, you pay them in monkey currencies and they die poor. AMERICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell one and you have to make the other one to produce milk like 4 cows. By dint of producing beyond her capacity, she dies. You take a consultant to understand this death. FRENCH SOCIETY: You have two cows, you go on strike because you want a third. GERMAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you modify them so that they live 100 years, eat once a month and treat themselves. CHINESE SOCIETY: You have two cows, you sell milk to your compatriots and you produce plastic milk to export to the rest of the world. BLACK/ AFRICAN SOCIETY: You have two cows, you eat them all the same day and you dream that donors or the international community give you others. You turn to God and hope for miracle cattle. You fast 40 days and 40 nights without eating or drinking so that the cows will fall from heaven. At the end, you die in extreme poverty. |

I went to club with my babe last weekend, so the hypeman was flowing and i was recording the moment with my phone. Suddenly, a lady tapped me from behind, and i was like what's the problem? My babe thought she wanted to have a private conversation with me, so she quickly glued me. Then, this bae was jst looking calmly, i asked again; "can i help you"? She said, pls can i get that video you jst recorded, i need it as well? So i said open your xender, she said no, her phone can't received through any means than whatsapp. I said it is a 120mb video, she said no problem. Then she collected my number right there in presence of my babe, she then Hi me on whatsapp and i shared the video immediately. She waited for sometimes and received it, then she acknowledged. Now, she have been chatting me up everyday, pushing topics and acting jovial. I then recall that, did she logically played me to get my number or what exactly was her intention? If the video is all she needed, i don't think it should be beyond that. Or what do you see about it? Lalasticlala, pls push this to promise land, i need people's views on this. |

The Acting General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division/Commander Sector 1, Joint Task Force North East Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Brigadier General Abdulwahab Eyitayo has lauded troops' fighting spirit and doggedness, especially in recent encounters with Boko Haram Terrorists (BHTs) and its splinter group, ISWAP, in the theatre of operation. Gen Eyitayo lauded the troops during a maiden operational tour of 24 Task Force Brigade, Dikwa, and Special Intervention Battalion IV, as well as Mobile Strike Team 16 collocated in New Marte, on 29 and 30 June 2021 respectively. The GOC also made a similar commendation when he paid a visit to troops of 151 and 152 Task Force Battalions in 21 Special Brigade area of responsibility. Reps to investigate alleged non-payment of army personnel allowances Guardian NigeriaJun 30, 2021 3:01 PM Nigerian Army The House of Representatives has resolved that the Committee on Army should investigate the disbursement of Non-Regular Allowances to Army personnel from 2017 till date. The resolution was sequel to a unanimous adoption of a motion by Rep. Abubakar Nalaraba (APC-Nasarawa) at plenary on Wednesday. Moving the motion earlier, Nalaraba said that the significant upward review of non-regular allowance of the Nigerian Army in 2017 was to ensure that serving personnel were adequately remunerated. According to him, this is to ensure that the personnel are motivated for optimum performance in the provision of adequate security in the country. “The non-regular allowance which includes payments such as First 28 days allowance, Operations allowance and Duty Tour Allowance of soldiers and officers was necessitated to mitigate the effects of current economic realities on the welfare of troops and entire personnel of Nigerian Army. “Aware that the increment was captured in the Manual of Finance Administration (MAFA) and approved for implementation by the President and Commander in Chief of Armed Forces of Nigeria on 26‘” January 2018. “Concerned that despite the increment in budgetary provision for the allowances from N283 billion in 2020 to about N380 billion in 2021, the welfare of Army personnel have not felt the corresponding effect. “Personnel of Nigerian Army involved in internal security operations, training and performance of other military duties are still being owed various types of non-regular allowances,’’ he said. The lawmaker said that the personnel were being owed in spite of the fact that the country is besieged by several security challenges. He said that the army is currently saddled with internal security operations which include anti-insurgency operations in the North East, anti-banditry operations in the North West, anti- bunkering in the South-South and anti-kidnapping across the country. In his ruling, the Speaker of the house, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila mandated the House Committee on Army to investigate and report back within four weeks for further legislative action. |
June 30 2021 by TheCable Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was lured to a location in an African country with a promise of cash donation in millions of dollars, TheCable understands. The IPOB leader, who was facing charges bordering on treasonable felony following his campaign for the secession of Republic of Biafra, had jumped bail in 2017 after a military action, code-named “Operation Python Dance”, targeted his family house in Abia state. Security sources informed TheCable that the operation to re-arrest and put him back on trial had been “ongoing for a while” until success was recorded on Sunday, June 27. “He was not arrested in the UK or Brazil or Czech Republic. He was not crated either, contrary to speculations,” the source said. The Nigerian government has not named the country where Kanu was arrested, with Abubakar Malami, the attorney-general of the federation, just saying he was “intercepted” and extradited to Nigeria. However, THEWILL, an online newspaper, reported that the “interception” took place in Ethiopia, where it said Kanu had been living for a while. THISDAY specifically named Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia, as the location. TheCable learnt that Kanu was tracked through some members of IPOB who were recently arrested following a massive military operation in the south-east. The security agencies worked through the links to give the IPOB leader the impression that he was going to be given some “millions of dollars” in cash donations to the organisation. He was said to have decided to collect the money himself “because of the huge amount involved”. Kanu even kept his associates in the dark about his mission, according to the security sources who said the top hierarchy did not know his whereabouts on the day he was arrested. He had been having a crisis of confidence with some of his lieutenants over financial matters. On arriving at the location where he was to collect the ‘donation’, he was arrested by that country’s security agencies and Interpol, and deported to Nigeria, the source said. This has brought an end to the long-running episode since he left Nigeria while on bail. His trial is expected to resume on July 26. |
