Inasmuch as Ibo's are perhaps the most crafty and dishonest people in Naija, I have to admit that they are also the most industrious and hardworking people I know, with a heart to succeed in the midst of all odds wherever they are found. Worse crimes have been committed by Yorubas in many cases but what really baffles me is the extent an ibo man can go due to envy of his own rich brother from the same village/compound all in the name of being accorded more respect as a result of acquired wealth. Its so sad to hear of someone travel all d way to murder his own kin |

Church wedding are more difficult to break up as its a vow under God wrapped up in so much scary morality. I'd prefer a court wedding though where I can easily apply for a divorce for simple reasons like if "She" gets fat ![]() |

Callotti: 1. None. Given that the average Nigerian is 'disgustingly' lazy!I don't agree that Nigerians are all lazy, I believe that they have not lived up to their potential because of the easy way out- oil, u need to go to aba, areas in Lagos, kano, Abuja, PH etc. to see some real hardworking hustling Nigerians not waiting on oil I fear that ur no. 2 point mighht happen or properties might be unfairly confisicated by citizens of the new country if this division happens. Why do you think so in no. 3 point, aren't ibibios and Ekweres as well as Calaabar and Deltans willing to go with the Ibos in their new Biafra? |
Years after the amalgamation of our great nation, it is quite sad that we have not reached where we want to go yet. Today its becoming a popular opinion that Nigeria should be divided. Especially now that many regions are beginning to discover newer minerals and sources of wealth to ensure their prosperity. My questions hence are as follows: 1. If we divide, which people would likely be most self sufficient and what's their major resource. 2. What happens to the people with investments and major assets in other regions from theirs? 3. Which peoples or tribe are agreeable with each other and would likely to go together. 4. What would happen to our lingua-franca English language and how will our education be affected? 5.Which peoples overall do u think would fare best in their new country politically, socially and economically and financially Let's discuss |
@ paparazzo, congrats your plea has been heard, They have been caught! Lagos Police Command reads riot act to criminals, seizes 130 hoodlums that Molestation, rob victims IN the Ajegunle area of Lagos metropolis, they are known as the ‘One Million Boys’, notorious for giving residents sleepless nights through their involvement in all sorts of crime. At last, however, the long arm of the law has caught up with them, as the Lagos State Police Command yesterday paraded no fewer than 130 of them. The Lagos State Police boss, Alhaji Umar Manko told reporters: “We have arrested some of them, they call themselves the ‘One Million Boys’, and they go from house to house, Molesting women and stealing from them. “I assure you that even if they are up to one million in number, my command will neutralize them. “We have arrested 130 of them and we are prepared for them. “They should leave Lagos or face the wrath of my command.” The Police boss also said his men had arrested bandits behind most of the bank robberies in Lagos, including the recent one at Sterling Bank, Matori, Mushin, in the metropolis. Besides, two bank drivers who give armed robbers information and connive with hoodlums to dispossess their banks’ customers of their hard-earned monies, were also brought before reporters. “We have syndicates of bank workers who invite armed robbers to their banks. “We have eight suspects in that group including two drivers, one attached to Sterling Bank and the other to Eco Bank,” he said. He continued: “On September 26, 2012, at about 6.00p.m., one Ahmed Ajofoba and Saheed Olawunmi were arrested by Area ‘D’ Command Headquarters, Mushin, at Sterling Bank, Matori, after a shoot-out when the gang went to rob the bank. “Ahmed and Saheed made confessional statements, which led to the arrest of eight others and the recovery of one locally-made pistol with one live cartridge. “The case was subsequently transferred to Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), Ikeja on October 2, 2012 for further investigation. “The suspects were interrogated and they further confessed that their armourer, Adedokun Yusuf and the gang leader, Ahmed Adelakun were in Aiyetoro, Ogun State. Consequently, they led SARS operatives to Aiyetoro where the duo was arrested and two locally-made pistols with four live cartridges were recovered. “The suspects who normally operate with the collaboration of insiders, confessed to have robbed Sterling Bank, Matori branch, Mushin, Lagos, May 25, 2012 where they carted away N8 million and Eco Bank, Isolo on August 29, 2012. “Investigation is still ongoing.” One of the suspects, Muftau Eleduwe, a Muslim cleric, who usually prays for them for successful operation, confessed that they usually make returns to him after every successful operation. According to Muftau: “ The gang members usually come to me for prayers of protection. “On this particular occasion, I prayed for them and they gave me N307,000, but the other operation was not successful, so they implicated me and told the police that I usually pray and see vision for them.” Another suspect, 24-year-old Lukeman Adekunle, who spoke in pigin English said: “I am from Yobo, Ogun State and I operate the motorcycle for the gang. “The second operation we went for at Sterling Bank, Fatai Atere failed and they arrested us. “It rained and that was why they were able to catch us.” Ahmed Ajofoba, 25, told The Guardian all he was praying for was just one more chance, that he has turned his back on armed robbery forever. “I was a dealer in Electronics in Ifo, Ogun State before I joined this gang. It was an unlucky day for us at that Fatai Atere Way branch of Sterling Bank. “If I am forgiven, I will run from armed robbery,” Ahmed said. http://www.osundefender.org/?p=40503 |
Congrats to the undisputed MI! Well deserved for a guy who speaks his mind and is never swayed by political favour and material gains unlike most other Nigerian artistes who sold their concience to pdp for peanuts. I love this guy- Mr Incredible |

Op, when you say too late for Nigeria, do u mean too late to stand as one nation? Or too late to become a better n peaceful place? This question rings out in my opinion as a cry to forcefully marry a lady who from the word go never wanted the marriage. Over the years I have reasoned, begged and prayed to see our people united, because it directly affects me personally as a product of families joined from two parts of Nigeria. Yet I came to reason later that if one people never wanted to be part of this country why must we force them? How would u feel if u were forced to become a Sudanese against your wish? Or forced to marry a fat ugly bastard u can't tolerate? I believe peace and progress would reign when each man faces his own tent rather than as 1 nation, we are different peoples and have a right to b free that's coming from someone who would have dual citizenship If we want peace Give Biafran people their oyel country abeg or they will never forgive the othe parts. Let the ones subduing this country wit their right to rule also keep it while the free thinkers also go apart to form theirs for peace and progress to reign! Simples |
