Does it have to be of "utmost" importance for it to be a priority for the Federal Government?

Like I have been saying for many months now, the State and local government are more important to your daily life than the Federal Government. This is not a millitary regime, power is not concentrated at the top.

Great point, Nwoke. However, I feel it is more humane to put someone to death than to keep them locked up against there will.

As far as im concerned, I would rather have death than serve a sentence of 1 yr+.

It's time for the government to crack-down. This madness must be brought to an end.

Well, what incentive is there for a company to increase supply? Afterall they make barely anything from what they are producing.

Things don't work that way. If there cost of electricity goes up, more companies are going to be willing to invest the millions of dollars so they can get get into the market and start selling electricity.

Let me give you a basic example. Imagine if the price of cassava increased from 1000 naira to 5000 naira, don't you think that many people that left the village to come to lagos might decide to return back home and pick up farming? However, they won't leave the city to become cassava farmers if the price of cassava remained at the same level of 1000 naira.

When a lot of them do that, the price of cassava would decline in the long-run because they would have to compete amongst each other.

Yes, we are in the top producers of crude oil, but you still need to refine the oil before you can use it in cars e.t.c.

Refineries cost billions of dollars and no one in their right mind is going to build enough of them to meet demand in a country that is as unstable as Nigeria. And thats the reason why Nigeria, even though being one the leading exporters of crude oil, still imports just about all the oil you put into your car.

As for the "we do not generate enough power to go around" that tells us that the demand exceeds supply. Well, then you have to raise the price of the electricity to the level that demand = supply.

While you might think you are doing whats best, you are only spreading pain. Also, keep in mind that once you tell her, you would have destroyed a family with 4 kids. If the woman had no children, I would care less, but we are talking about a family here.

Besides, she is married with 4 children, what do you expect here to do once she finds out? Its not like she can just pack up and leave. Here live is basically tied to this man, in regardless how bad/selfish he might be.

Marriage is as much an economic decision as it is about the illusion of "love" (Love doesn't exist). Hence, why not aim to marry into the richest family you can get into? And when you and everyone does this, you end up marrying withing your economic class.

Howerver I will like to find out more about the Bini sub-group. Do you people speak Yoruba? What States are you in, and about what percent of the total population of Nigeria do you make up?

I want an end to the madness. I never said it had to be a friendly, or peaceful realignment. If you became Christian by the force of the British, you would give up that faith by force if necessary.
