RomanceRe: Ugly Intelligent Girl or Beautiful Dull Girl? by DaHitler(m): 12:10pm On Jun 25, 2006
I love dull girls. Sure conversations might be a little boring but you don't have to worry about her asking any complicated questions when you get back home at 4 am smelling like alcohol with lipstick all over your shirt. cheesy

RomanceRe: Strategy For 'Toasting' Girls by DaHitler(m): 6:31am On Jun 25, 2006
Don't say anything. Just look in her eyes and walk up to her. Begin kissing her on the lips as you firmly rub your smooth body. Now slip your hand under her dress and if she doesn't slap you, your "toast" has worked.

19. And I repeat, I am not going out on a date to hang out with my chick and her big sis (or brother or any other person). If we are going out on a group date, it would be with my friend and her friends. And even that would be limited to the movies.

AN elder (female) is NOT a crowd. plzsse
Well, to me, it is irritating. I don't go out on dates to hang out with my girl and an elder female.
21 or there about and i don't care what u or anyone think of me.i live in maryland u.s.a.
Thats kool. I am in Baltimore for the summer. But back to the topic. Since this is your first date, go to the movies. See the new X-Man (Its really good) or some other action movie. What you have to try and avoid is any awkward moments so romantic movies are off limits. cheesy

One thing that is really great about movies is that you can seat next to each other for about an hour and a half without actually having to talk. Once the movie is over, all anxiety that you might have had at the start of the date would be gone. Then you can then chat about the movie afterwards.

just listen. go in the company of an elder friend. don't accpt any gifts.
Bad advice. A shy guy would be intimidated by a crowd. Its better to go on a date alone.
RomanceRe: I'm Going For My First Date Next Week by DaHitler(m): 5:46am On Jun 25, 2006
Ok, assuming you are between 18-22, you should wear a long skirt and a top (since you are conservative). When having dinner, make sure you use the best eating manners you have. Don't struggle to get meat off the bone or anything like that. Make sure to do a little bit of talking while you eat so it doesn't seem like you are too into the food. If you are not a Muslim, do not finish your food. Leave about 10-20 percent of the food at the end of dinner. Smile at h is comments and laugh as his jokes. Since the guy is shy, you don't have to worry about him taking your kindness for granted.

Read up a little about the 2006 world cup but only make a few references to it. Because, you are probably not interested in sports and it would suck to spend the entire date discussing it.

You might even want to just let him choose all the topics. Since he is Nigerian (I am assuming that is what he is) he should expect to, whether he likes to or not, come up with all the topics. Lastly, be kool. Even if things tense, its all in your head.
what and what not to say.what exactly do i need to talk about when having dinner? hopefully notschool work and stuffs like that.im really on the conservative side and i don't want him to think of me as a bore,am i making sense at all?
Really, I need to know your age and the age of your date. Otherwise, it would be nearly impossible to recommend anything for you.

This would also give me a recommendation on what to wear. Also, what State are you in (if you are in Nigeria), or what country if you are outside of Nigera?
RomanceRe: I'm Going For My First Date Next Week by DaHitler(m): 5:29am On Jun 25, 2006
miliki, before I can give you any advice, I need to know your age. This is not meant as an insult, but advice that might work an 18 yr old might not work so well for a 24 yr old.

Anyway, since the guy is shy, try not to let break in conversation last too long. Bring up topics about politics, economy and sports if you know any. Chances are, the guy would be so shy he would just be relieved that he doesn't have to come up with all the topics for the conversation.
PoliticsGlaring Problem In Nigerias Democracy by DaHitler(op): 5:04am On Jun 25, 2006
Nigerias political parties represents nothing. Instead it is a platform on which self-serving kleptomaniac can use to attain higher office.

I read once that the AD was progressive, the PDP was moderate and the ANPP was conservative. But judging by how 6 out of the 12 States that have Sharia law are PDP States, is that to mean that Sharia is now considered moderate?

Nigerias must demand the views of these parties when it comes to issue such as, Abortion, resource allocation, national character legislation, and capital punishment.

Till you do, these kleptomaniacs would say anything to get into office and end up doing nothing.

PoliticsHow Rich Is Nigeria? by DaHitler(op): 9:20pm On Jun 24, 2006
How rich is Nigeria?

We all have our differing ideas on Nigeria's politics and other related issues, but lets for once focus on something we can actually find a definite answer to.

I have been doing some research lately in hopes of finding out how rich Nigeria is. To be honest, the only reason I even decided to take up this challenge was because a lot of posters here, on nairaland, make comments that I find a little hard to swallow. I mean, if you took words of the majority of posters here, one would think Nigeria is a wealthy country.

Now, before I lay down the facts, I would like to make a distinction that I have that is not likely to be in line with that of other readers. I do not consider a large population a resource. Instead, I consider it a burden on the system. I would go into the reasons why while I comment on Nigeria's wealth.

According to www.answer.com, Nigeria's GDP is about $125.7 billion. That sounds like a lot, but you consider that this is a country with 129 million people (according to answer.com), that only translates to a little under $1,000.00 per person. Then when you consider that over 85 percent of this $125.7 billion comes from the petroleum sector, a sector notorious for its little need of manpower, then you come to understand that even the already low figure of the average Nigerian making $1,000.00 is not true. Instead, the average Nigerian is making about 400 dollars or less, while the additional 600 dollars that they should make (if the system was perfect) in either monetary or benefit compensation is being poorly spent by the Federal, State and Local Governments. Please note, I am not saying a dollar a day (141 naira) is not enough to live on in Nigeria, but it is by no means a good living.

Now that we have an idea of the large scale picture of the country, lets take a look at the State level.

From the information I have been able to get, the monthly allocation to Edo (using this as my example) for the month of June was a little over 10 million dollars. So Edo, a State with 3.5 million people (2006 estimates), is allocated 10 million dollars to operate for 31 days. Typically, Nigerian States government spend 60-70 percent of their monthly allocation paying off civil servants. Lets assume Edo only pays 60 percent of its monthly allocation to the civil servants. That leaves 4 million dollars for the Government of the State to fund projects e.t.c. for the State. So, for every person in Edo, there is an allocation of a little more than $1.14 for an entire month.

Lastly, for those who are naive enough to assume that the Federal Government is funding projects for local governments, that is not the case. The Federal Government only manages roads that connect States, Military facilities and Federal buildings.

This is Nigeria for you. At a time when oil is selling at $70 a barrel (up from $9 a barrel during the mid 90s). If you think things are bad now, wait till the prices reduce to normal levels.

Let me know what your thoughts are on the wealth of Nigeria. Also, if you happen to have information that shows the monthly allocation of each State (the Nigerian Government is not doing a good enough job having this information easily accessible on the web) please post it.

Note: Please base your assumptions around numbers (provide links if you have any) and very little, if any, emotion or patriotism.

CrimeRe: If Your Brother/Sister Rapes You. Would You Turn Them In? by DaHitler(m): 8:39am On Jun 24, 2006
Well, if I got raped by my big sis (can women even rape men), it would be really awkward. I won't be shaken or anything, but hanging out with the family will seem very disgusting. I won't report though. Honestly, as I guy, I place next to no importance no sex, so it won't, by any means, be the end of the world for me.
PoliticsRe: 'Outright Collapse of Nigeria' Predicted by US Experts by DaHitler(m): 7:45am On Jun 24, 2006
It is likely that if there is wide-spread rioting that follows the release of the census, there could be a middle rank military coup which might be unable to gain control of the entire country.
