While some Nigerians have made it a habit of always criticizing our products, foreigners abroad are continuously showing that they cherish made-in-Nigeria goods/items. A Nigerian businesswoman and brand promoter, Lauretta Chinenye from Awkuzu, Anambra state - has narrated what happened after she came across a set of Australians in the United Kingdom.

According to the lady who claimed to have been invited for the wedding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle due to take place on 19 May 2018 at Windsor Castle, the Australian women were amazed by her Nigerian attire as they decided to take pictures of her and also with her.

Below is what she shared on her Facebook page;

So these Australians women saw me and were taking pictures of me. I was wondering what was going on. I was wondering if people were beginning to see my inner Beyonce and mistook me for her. Anyway, they approached me and said they loved my African top and the combination. Wondered where I got it from..So I told them I am a Princess from Nigeria and my subjects give them to me for free.

Chisos!!! Immediately they heard "princess" This women went gaga and started hugging and begging to take pictures with me as they have never spoken to a real life princess before in their lives.

They asked what I came to do, I said am on holiday and also to attend Prince Harry's wedding, which my kingdom was invited, so am representing my father Ladies and gentlemen I present to you- Princess Chinenye Of Awkuzu Kingdom.

We took pictures and exchanged contacts.I am a Princess biko I didnt lie, nobody should argue I lied.

I saw more road blocks and owners of shops should get unbreakable padlocks to secure their shops and protect their wares. I see security operatives across the country trying to quench the riot across the country.

It would be recalled that months back, he revealed that if President Buhari tries to contest for presidency in 2019, he will die.

A man identified as Mr. Arhamerene has been forced to narrate the ordeal of his broken marriage through social media after accusing his wife (now his ex) of having an affair with a colleague who is the operational manager of Zenith Bank at the Delta state university, Abraka. The heartbroken man shared his story with journalist Sapele Oghenek with the permission to post online.

According to the man, he legally married his wife when he was in second semester 100 level at Delta State University. Then, the wife just graduated and was about to go for her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

They got married on the 16th of November 2016 in Warri, according to Jehovah witness laws and accordance in marriage.

He said he was working as a staff for Fidelity Bank with his Diploma in Computer Science, before he resigned and decided to further his education.

According to him, because he was a student struggling with schooling and family together, he decided to look for job for his wife in Zenith Bank, because he knows the Manager of Zenith Bank Abraka branch. He submitted her CV and she was called for interview in Lagos State. He said he spent close to N80,000 during two weeks she left for the exams and interview. She later got the job and was posted Zenith Bank Delta State University Abraka because of her marital status.

He said his wife's character changed suddenly towards him in all ramifications not knowing that his wife was dating the operational manager of the bank, one Mr. Kingsley Okudide whom she allegedly sent her nude pictures to.

This was said to have led to a quarrel which made him beat her up in the process. The wife called her father, a welder identified as Robert Alerubo who stormed his house with some Warri boys and dealt with him as he took away his daughter and her son [his grandson] for six months now.

He said just recently the ex-wife posted on her Facebook wall, that " he is the looser than she as gotten a job and a son she has nothing to lose."

He said he approached the Zenith bank manager to see reasons with him, but he called his father in-law who got him arrested and was detained at Abraka Police Division for two days.

He disclosed that Mr Kingsley Okudide, the head of operations is the cause of his failed marriage and transferred his ex-wife to Warri branch when he noticed people were visiting him in the office over the issue.

He said the news of his failed marriage is everywhere in Abraka community because he is a very popular student among staff of the university.

This is very shameful. A middle-aged man simply identified as Yerin from Opuedebubor Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom in Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State - was allegedly caught in the act of rapping his 13-year-old daughter. The man was forced to kneel before the elders of the community during interrogation before final judgment is passed on him according to their tradition.

The heavy downpour which happened yesterday in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state capital - did more harm than good. Many cars were damaged as trees and poles fell on them during the rainfall. Even buildings and billboards were not left out in the destruction caused during the downpour.

A man whose car came close to being hit by an electric pole - has attributed the miracle to God whom he said made a supernatural force to push the falling pole away from the car.

On Sunday, May 6th, two truck loads of Fulani indigenes were intercepted at a military checkpoint at Bekwarra local government area in Cross River state. According to reports, the leader of the Fulani group revealed that they were sighted by some youths at Ogoja while coming down from the truck to buy food.

According to Idoko Simmy, the Fulanis revealed that they were coming from Kogi state and were heading to Amana Utanga in Obanliku Local Government Area of Cross River in order to migrate to Cameroon.

Their intention was to stop at Ogoja barracks before continuing with their journey but unfortunately they were intercepted by the youths who raised an alarm.

Youths numbering over 300 from the host community; Ogoja and beyond came in agreement and refused the Fulanis from settling there for the main time as they were escorted from Garki, to Yahe in Yala. When the people of Yahe saw what was going on, they joined in the campaign and chased them farther through the borders of Yala and Ikom.

According to reports, the Fulanis who were 96 in number - were reportedly taken back to Kogi in company of armed soldiers in order to prevent any attack from tensed youths.

Speaker of the House of Representatives Hon. Yakubu Dogara Tuesday led other leaders and members of the House to visit Senator Dino Melaye at the National Hospital Abuja.

Hon. Dogara accompanied by his deputy Yusuff Lasun, Deputy Minority Leader Binta Bello and other members were received by former Speaker of the House Patricia Etteh, and the Chief Medical Director of the hospital Dr Jaf Momoh.

Senator Melaye who is asthmatic is receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit, trauma centre of the National hospital.

The lawmaker developed complications after he was teargassed by police officers conveying him to Lokoja Kogi state last week.

The death of the Saturday afternoon raid by suspected bandits at Gwaska in Birnin-Gwair Local Government Area of Kaduna State has risen from 27 to 45 on Sunday. The Birnin-Gwari Vanguards for Security and Good Governance said no fewer than 45 bodies were recovered by vigilantes and volunteers with the assistance of soldiers on Sunday afternoon.

The bandits pursued residents who mobilised to defend the village after overpowering them,” said a vigilante who asked not to be named for fear of reprisals.

“The dead included children abandoned by their parents during the attack.“The attackers were obviously armed bandits from neighbouring Zamfara state who have been terrorising Birnin Gwari area…,” he added.

The vigilante said the bandits struck Gwaska village in Kaduna state at about 2:30pm (1330 GMT) Saturday and stayed for three hours before retreating to their base in the forest in Zamfara.“

They burnt down many homes,” he said.A spokesman for the Kaduna state police, Mukhtar Aliyu, confirmed the attack by “armed bandits” but said they were unable to give further details.

Meanwhile, Birnin Gwari community in Birnin Gwari Local Government of Kaduna State, have Sunday, blocked Lagos-Kaduna road to protest the incessant killings by bandits across villages in the LGA.

A native doctor is in the news after appeasing the gods and undergoing some rituals with orange juice, biscuits, children toys and other items. According to the native doctor and promoter of Igbo tradition who lives in Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, the items were sacrificed in a bush while consulting the gods for protection and progress of his people.

After sharing the pictures of the sacrifice online, online users were quick to react as most asked him how will the gods drink the juice and use the other items considering they are spirits.

In Akwa Ibom state, no fewer than 10 persons, including the Etim Ekpo Local Government Chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC, Mr. Iniobong Akan, were beaten up by aggrieved youths.

The youths allegedly blocked the gates of the state secretariat, along Atiku Abubakar Avenue in Uyo, where the exercise held, preventing party members from entering the premises.

At least four persons were killed in a fatal accident involving a Hilux van and a motorcycle in Hilux truck and bike along Egume Anyigba road in Kogi state. The incident was reported to have caused a scene in the area as other road users tried to save the passengers.

The corpses of the dead victims were evacuated and have been deposited at the mortuary in Egume.

May the souls of the dead rest in peace.

The issue of domestic violence can't be overemphasized. A Nigerian woman has gone into hiding along with her children over alleged maltreatment and brutalization by her husband. According to the reports, the woman who couldn't bear it no more - had to flee over fear of her life after she was seriously beaten and flogged by husband.

It was also gathered that the man is still searching for his wife and children so he could take them away from her.

The woman has notified her lawyers who are set to take action against the husband.

A worker at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Mr. Nakanda Edet has been allegedly killed by the Anti-Cultism Unit of the Cross River State Police Command. The incident was said to have happened on Tuesday on the hospital’s premises during a reception organised by the institution’s management after the May Day celebration.

While reports say Edet was strangled for alleged cult-related activities, the police claimed he was wanted in a murder case and died while being chased for arrest.

An eyewitness revealed that the police got information that he was at the workers’ reception party and a police squad appeared to arrest him. The source noted that the late Edet took to his heels and was later found dead on the hospital’s premises.

He said, “The worker had been involved in cult-related activities and was on the wanted list of the police. “He had always been elusive, but luck ran out on him when the police, acting on a tip off, trailed him to the institution during the reception after the May Day celebration.

“On sighting the officers of the task force, who were heading in his direction, Edet took to his heels for safety towards the back of the administrative block of the UCTH. Unfortunately, he died and could not be revived.

“The officer, who ran after him, suddenly returned to the car park area without the man he pursued. He (policeman) asked his colleagues at the reception venue to retreat immediately. They went out and zoomed off immediately through the UCTH back gate.

“Not long after, the lifeless body of Edet was discovered by some of the staff workers behind the administrative building. On a closer examination, it was discovered that he was strangled.”

The Chief Medical Director of the UCTH, Prof. Thomas Agan, confirmed the death but said investigation was ongoing to unravel the reason he was killed. “He was killed by the police. I do not know for what reason, but we are also investigating the matter through an autopsy,” he said.

But the state Police Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo, who confirmed the death of the UCTH worker, absolved the police of blame.

“The young man had been on the wanted list of the police over a murder case which he was involved in. We got information that he was at a reception venue in the UCTH and the police went for him.

“On sighting our men, he took to his heels. But while he was being chased, he fell and died,” she said.

A woman is reported to have come under a 'spiritual attack' after she was hit by an unfortunate incident. According to a Facebook user Alex who shared the news, his sister dreamt when someone used needle on her eyes - only for her to wake up from sleep with a swollen eye.

According to Alex who lives in Makurdi Benue state capital, his sister's right eye started with some pains before degenerating to the level where she can't see again with it.

The distraught brother took to Facebook to urge fellow online users to pray for his sick sister.
