Graduates were produced thorugh catholic church in school sponsorship.

Medical ministry, food aid and countless voluntary service from the church.

Social institution like homeless servive, hospitals andrefugee camps have helped us in one way or the other.

What industrial base have the graduates created? What ground breaking scientific inventions have they been able to achieve? Your wealthy citizens can not even send their dogs to your hospitals yet you are talking about health services. What is the average life expectancy compared to that of others? Can Africans on their own deal with deadly epidemics like Ebola , SARS and bird flu? How functional are your soup kitchens in Nigeria for example?

You are yet to list one advantage of religion in Africa, you just attempted to state some but we know it is all false because we are also Africans and we can't see how religion has helped Africa develop or compete with others in anyway. We still remain at the bottom of the ladder despite our overtly religious disposition.

The most annoying part of the whole madness is that you can be killed for openly stating your disbelief in such stories in some parts of the world. If you openly say that you do not believe that Mohammed rode on the back of a horse or that he divided the moon into two and try to falsify the story in places like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, or even in some states in Northern Nigeria there are people that will happily kill you.

I do not believe things blindly, I will like to know things for a fact before I accept them. I was once a believer like you in the myths, fiction and ideas of the ancient Jews, after a very careful scrutiny , I realized it was all a sham and I stopped believing. I will easily believe if I can been presented with incontrovertible evidence, but the fact is that God and religions are man made idea that is why there are many different Gods and different religions because men made them up. What you believe in is determine mostly by where you are born and the period in history.

I have been a believer like you for over 12 years. I stopped believing because I realized I was just indoctrinated with the ideas, thoughts, mythology and cultures of other people which I fully accepted without questioning. You said I should believe even if it doesn't make any sense. Why should I accept something that doesn't make any sense to me? I exist, that I know for sure, if there is a God that wants people to know about his existence then he should let people know about it himself. According to stories written about him by other we were told that he used to address the all the people of Israel publicly.

Why should it be so, we are told that God speaks to many people, just the other day I saw pastor Adeboye on Tv telling people about the conversation he had with God inside the airplane and what God told him to do when he gets to his destination, did he prove his own existence before God spoke to him? What about people inside the bible whom God appeared to according to the story? Which of them proved their existence first before God appeared to them? Was it Moses, Abraham or all the people that lived when Jesus(God) came and lived with me according to the biblical story?
