lexy2014: If unity was d problem caused by d white man, is there unity amongst d yorubas? Have d d richest northerners in Nigeria been able to lift their fellow alimajiris and northerners out of poverty? Have d Igbo governor of abia state built d roads in aba market? What of d Niger Deltans? How have their governors used their allocations? Have religious leaders been more concerned about being d conscience of society or being predictors of election victories? Is the white man responsible for how we treat ourselves in this country? America has lots of poor people. The richest billionaires are Americans... Why us this so? Even in most prosperous and advanced countries of the world , we still have ghettos, horrible crimes and extremely poor people. So that does not mean a thing. Because there, you can go to the village and not fear terrorists kidnapping you or robbing, killing or burning just because you don't belong to their tribe or religious beliefs. Many are internally displaced, refugees in their own country because the whites still employ divide and rule tactics... They say we're free... Are we really,?? Who's selling guns, training boko haram(illiterates) to use arms and ammo |

When things go wrong you don't keep crying wolf till eternity. You do something about it. That's natural. Trump was elected as a rebound on Obamas administration. The Americans especially the Democrats are taking steps to get in and not just sitting and typing on phones. SW brought in Amotekun and other steps are already being taken... You people need to take practical steps not just shouting foul all the times things go out of control... Such is life too |

That is why Nigeria is Nigeria is light years behind the real world. Many things are wrong with Africans. The Oyinbos have a lot to do with it..... Lumping up hundreds of different language speakers and diverse religious and cultural beliefs together...... Diversity can never be a strength... Its divisive and we lag behind |

Rugaria: Without the southwest, buhari wouldn't have gotten the numerical spread he needed to become the president since other parts of the South refused vehemently to buy into his dubious campaign... , the reason being that a lot of people in the Christian south worried seriously about several of his outbursts that seem to showcase a primordial character steamed in ethnic hate and cultural chauvinism...
So the southwest proudly made buhari president, a man whose actions and inactions has led the security situation in this country tothis sorry pass.. Now the same people who boast of their sophisticated political sagacity in making buhari the president TWICE are now all over the place congratulating themselves for forming one sorry- sight of an organization called Amotekun ! What is amotekun? A force stationed to save the South West from the administrative failures of buharis ineffective presidency!!! Is this not the height of sophisticated idio-cy? That's all you people are good at..... Never doing anything except to point accusing fingers |

Health › Re: My Skin Is Too Soft (please Help) by dalass(f): 1:17pm On Aug 26, 2020 |
trueguy573: Good day Nairalanders, I decided to post this here due to its population.
I can't help but notice that my skin is too soft and smooth nearly like that of a newborn. I have 3 sisters. I and 2 of them took our mother's skin. We all have soft skins but mine is extra soft. It is also very sensitive to the core.
Actually, the main issue that prompted me to post this is that triming my hair and beard is hell especially when the barber begins to re-shape the hair line back of the head or scrape off the hair under my chin. When the clipper comes in contact with my skin, I would literally feel like jumping up due to the excruciating pain. It was as if one was drawing with a knife on my skin. It took a lot of self-control and fear of getting cut to bear it all. My beard also isn't helping out as it grows rapidly.
I'm frustrated. Most barbers and folks I've been with acknowledged that my skin was soft. The only advantage of my skin is that ladies love to feel em especially when we hug and it glows attractively backed up with shea butter and coconut oil. Anytime I felt the razor pain, I was more determined to be rich as poverty would really deal with me and my determination is coming to reality, thanks to God.
Anyway please help me out with this, what natural item can make my skin thicker? I need your recommendations. I know I'm not the only one facing this. I would really appreciate your input. Anyone out there who knows a practical step to get a thicker skin? You're using Shea butter and coconut oil and expect thick skin? As a guy, why use these products? They make the skin soft. When used on natural hair that's naturally hard, it gets soft! Just discontinue those skin products and your male skin in its original form will be there.... BTW, don't be too conscious of your looks as a guy... Leave that to Ladies |

Romance › Re: A Girl Spent The Night At His Place And I'm Feeling So Bad About It. by dalass(f): 8:04am On Aug 26, 2020 |
Dorcas23: There is this guy I just recently started talking to. He's very good looking and intelligent and dresses well. He is my type and we have so many interests in common. I'm already falling in love with him but I haven't told him. I'm still trying to take it slow. I have not had sex with him yet but I want to. He told me he is in love with me and I was so excited to hear it but I hid my excitement because I'm still confused about his intentions.
The problem is that whenever I try to become vulnerable with him like texting him early in the morning to ask how his night was, he will ignore my texts for days and then call me out of the blue as if nothing happened. But other times he will call me multiple times and talk on the phone like we were dating.
Yesterday after ignoring my texts for over 24hrs he called me and said I should come over to his place. I've never been to his place before. I was already on my way when he called me to tell me that a lady visited him and she is spending the night at his place. He apologized and told me not to be offended. I acted all cool and told him some other time. He hasn't texted or called me since. I'm confused. I know we aren't dating but why would he even tell me this? He's playing mind games with you..... If a guy get mind to tell me a girl is sleeping over at his place that I should not bother to come, believe me, that love I have for him instantly becomes past tense! . And obviously he's a player.... My dear, wake up! He thinks he's God's gift to womanhood and a bloody womanizer. Don't give him the satisfaction of adding you to his string of girls |

SirRoberto: One of the things I detest most with this administration is how they pretend to be better than previous governments or administrations but commits the most atrocities.
Then the second part is when the enslaved defenders would have to hide or defend those atrocities but would later jump at any news about the same government, constructing roads or railways to glorify and exalt such government as if the government was the best thing to have happened to their lives (not the lives of Nigerians).

IkwerrePikin: Congrats but no nose mask and social distance??
But religion does not have anything to do with God.
Africans which sin did we commit for us to believe the white man who came with boat enslaved us and took over our kingdoms and declared our tradition devilish while preaching to us that Jesus/Mohammed is our savior and we need to repent?
Repent from which sin? You that colonized us and stole our artifacts, enslaved us have not repent but you’re asking us to repent from what exactly?
Do you know the first slave boat to move innocent African slaves out of Africa was a catholic missionary boat?
They who believe Christianity Is the truth and the life, i ask was it Jesus that asked the colonial masters to enslave blacks, steal our artifacts, and declear our african way of relating with God devilish? Irrelevant to this beautiful topic... BTW, your ancestors as traditional worshippers bought and owned slaves who worked for them..... I.e they enslaved their fellow country men without the whites or before religion came in... People of the same traditional worshippers as tribes fought themselves in war, captured and sold fellow brothers to the whites for money! God OE Christians are not responsible for the black mans woes... If they were, why are we backwards since they left? You need to stop the blame game and let's accept responsibility to make this dark continent embrace light and progress |
