well I dont need for my post to be accepted by anybody, especially when its not offensive, its a forum and it should be where I should not have problem giving my opinion I can as well desist from visit if seun would not do anything regard this issue. this is 2011 not 1999 the stone age

I applaud you for your creativity and motivation to bring about a new way for Nigerians to interact, both home and abroad.

permit me to use this avenue to make a complaint about justwise the co-moderator on travel section of this forum.

There was a discussion going on a thread on the travel section yesterday, and people were passing their comments as usual, then came in Vicjustice he left his comment and i found his comment not appropriate with the discussion on the thread, I waded in and challenged him.

be informed, there have been times where people rain abuses on threads and I have had to come in an caution them, and ask forumers to debate in a more civil way, Justwise , on numerous occassion has allowed indecent comments to stay on the forum without bordering to give warnings to the posters.

I made a comment on this thread ( https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-815656.0.html) yesterday and this comment got deleted by justwise because justwise did not want that particular thread derailed but some other thread can be derailed with strong and offensive comments. Please find below my comment.

@ VICJ, you know you do not have to pass comment on this thread, Are you always this brainless or are you making a special effort today dude? the op stated he has a job in Nigeria, he managed to save 3M considering how expensive Nigeria is, you came rushing to utter your worthless comment as usual asking a gentle man not to forge document, can you not see from his post, that the op is not desperate in getting to the UK? what has your comment got to do with this thread.

OP is probably more successful than yourself and then you are chatting complete nonsense about forging documents and kissing goodbye to the UK, are you sure you are sane?

Be rest assured, i am tracking all your comments on this section of the forum, and would continue to point out your bigotry.

I took my time to write to you because I found his behaviour totally out of order and bias, he seems to have form a clique with Vicjustise and the likes on that section of this forum and anyone that disagrees with Vicjustice become justwise adversary.

I demand an apology from justwise or that he stands down from being a mod on that section because the section of that forum, Travel section of this forum has degenerated too quickly since he took over.

I shall await your response.

@ op, Goodluck to you, please stick to your plans and try not to let anything other than the reason you are going there entice you. if you've stayed in a place for too long, and its not forth coming, and you've checked, and see there is not much you can do about the situation well its better to try somewhere else.

When you get to china it is important you get documented as soon as you can, i heard its not nice for overstayers there so please try and regularise yourself asap on arriving in china.

op, this is my little advise given from experience. Please and please if your only motive of going to china is to impress people back home, brother please i beg you please do not embark on such journey, because if anything goes wrong nobody none of the people you want to help or impress will come to your rescue dont be surprised if you were even totally ignored.

Secondly you know your situation better than we do, you know what you are going through right now better than us, and if you've made the decision to go to China with the plans you already have, go ahead and succeed if your motive of going is not to impress anyone, put your plans before God.

you need to also understand every Nigerian travelling abroad cannot simply possess good attitude thats why we are all human beings, this year a report showed the number of eu citizens in the UK Prisons, Irish citizens in UK prison was totalling morethan 2000, same as dutch, french, germans. if western europeans can commit non-immigration related crimes in thier drove aw much more people from impoverished nigeria

surprisingly, the eastern europeans top the list having more criminals than the western europeans in UK Prisons with poland, though being central europe topping the list with over 6 thousand criminals in UK prison, followed by romanians and lithuanians. Dutch citizens just around 500 plus.

    of course just a fraction of these eastern europeans were expelled due to their membership in the EU, now my stand is this, you see the better the economy the less the crime, economic situation of Nigeria is a big factor contributing to her citizens crime in Nigeria and outside Nigeria.

If you go to german prison as well you'd see british prisoners.

JW, you are talking from the perspective of the minority, majority of Nigerians in westerm countries are convicted of mostly immigration crimes, millions of Nigerians have overstayed their visas from world go, is that not a crime in itself? and why would majority want to overstay their visa if Nigeria was deemed liveable for them?

why would Nigerians do all sort of criminal activity to get documented? why wont they come go back to Nigeria if indeed home is good. Circumstances would sometimes push a good person to commit crimes, and thats why in the UK and most EU countries they have sentencing reports prior to verdict to know what has pushed the individual into the crime and to determine what sort of sentence they will get.

@ READY2GIVE, thanks for your light hearted response, and i apologise for myself and onbehalf of other posters that has made mockery of your post, the fact is it was funny but nonetheless i will try and give my opinion.

Deportation of Nigerians cannot be prevented but it can be reduced, only if the goverments would make Nigeria liveable for the inhabitant, create jobs, make available opportunities for the youths, stable power supply, regular pipe borne water, fight against corruption and looting of public funds, fight against boko haram, good and trust worthy policing, good roads.

You know if this things were readily available in Nigeria it will attract investors and there-by making the country investable. so when Nigerians secure a visa to go to any country they would not be desperate to stay in those countries and those reasons listed above by 25omega would sure be reduced.

I hope you can have a bit of an idea

all these schengen would be easier compare to canada but in all you need to show you have enough funds to look after the family, if you have the funds you seriously would not encounter problem getting your visas

op is it that your husband doesnt want you to apply for spouse visa because he thinks you will not meet the requirement given his circumstances and so he has to go back to the UK work to be able to save some money for this process or he just doesnt want you to be in the UK now? be aware there is no quick fix to it, you will need to have a bit of patience

Androck, your post is not really clear to me, where are you right now? how are you close to PR when your visa is about to expire?

@ OP, well i really do not know how you can do this without involving your husband, spouse visa requirement is quite burdensome, first the application fee is £810 , and your husbands has to meet the income requirement as well as accomondation requirement, you have to demonstrate an ongoing stable relationship in addition to relationship history prior to marriage.

If you really would like to be with your husband in the UK without him knowing how possible is that? if he finds out you are in the UK or you secured a visa behind is knowledge would that not create any row in your marriage. And how will your husband reacts if he finds out you got a visa without him being involved?

if you answer the above i will give you a tip that wont cost much.

op, am sorry you are not eligible for British citizenship, you will have to have atleast lived in the UK for 3 years with your husband to meet the residential requirement, and only if your husband is in crown service, serving the British interest outside the UK and you are living with him for 3 years then, you must be living with him in that country for 3 years to qualify the residential test. there are other requirements, but not so rigorous.

If you have just married, why is your husband living you in Nigeria isnt the foundation of marriage is that the 2 of you should live together, happily ever after ?

I abhor crime, but I would however not desist from pointing out error in peoples judgement. if you want to persecute the op for staying illegally in S.A i assume you want to demonstrate an attitude of good ambassador of Nigeria, then I susgest you should tell all Nigerians living illegally in western countries to come back and not find means to legalise their stay and when they come back you should aswel find a suitable and durable employment for them, aside that I would like to tell you he isnt the 1st Nigerian to overstay a visit visa. British citizens do overstay, Irish do. Americans do, Australians do yes but not as much as us, but that's down to our economic standard and lack of job.

He then boasts of how he has made enough money to go globetrotting, money that is untraceable and non taxable.

So many Nigerians overstay their visas, and then later legalise themselves in some way and have now become citizens of good countries.

@ Gulu, Yes you can make more than that depends on your area of specialisation and experience, thats not the case in op's situation and am not saying op has made such money, because that would be incorrect, I hope you do understand my post or his, none of those posts say he has made that amount.  the first time i travelled was the uk, after over a year and half stay i bought a land of around 400k naira, back then although i was younger than the op, but that money made me feel ontop of the world, and its not asif i came from a poor family in Nigeria, my both parents are working and high earners but 400k to me was a huge huge amount of money how much more the op.  And to some the money is peanut. 

     Nobody is saying working on a visitor's visa is not a crime or anything please I urge you to be the first to stone the op if you hadnt done anything illegal in your life.

I am not interested by the way of giving advise to the op as i have little knowledge of S.A, and I do not have much information for him on his europe prospects, but I am against you or anyother person who just want to question the way op has made his money without addressing his post, its completely out of order as none of you have the right to question him.

OP is 23 years. he knows whatever he is into if legal or not none of you will be there when anything back-fires if he is indeed into some dodgy dealings. OP, none of these universities are not top uk Unis, it depends which part of the UK you would like to study, aside Northumbria which is in England (Newcastle upon tyne) the other two are in scotland, however if i was studying in the UK I would choose to study in scotland for so many reason.

I do not know about CIPS and CILT, you should email the universities yourself to get those details, and regards part time employement you should be able to get part time job depends on your experience, you probably will have to start with a factory job or Mc donalds or some other menial jobs, after you must have gained some experience then how fast you integrate would determine your chances of getting an averagely good job, you will only be allowed to work 20hrs during term time and 40 hrs during holiday which is a set back because employers need people that could work for longer hours but then you should still find yourself a job.

In comparison to England, Scotland is a pretty cold country, North sea separates scotland from the scandinavians which makes it a really cold country. There is rascism everywhere in europe so scotland/England is no different but its at its minimal in scotland, racist attacks are very rare.

Pls you can also highlight any better university for this course

Why should someone recommend you a better university to study, you should do the trouble if you are infact keen on studying in the UK,

Please could you clarify the bold in the above did you mean used visa or unused visa by the time you will be applying?

use google to find out about italian embassy you would av to submit your application at the VFS Lekkii, if you are a first time traveller you'd have to wait between 25 to 40 working days to get a response from the visa office.

@Jman77, yes as JW as said its a scam and pure scam. should you wish to confirm for yourself if you have a bit of money to waste. insist on buying her the ticket, and do use Turkish airline because Turkish has a refund for no show flights but you might loose a tiny bit of your money
