We are a nation producing Crude Oil and kerosene is just a by-product of crude oil! ...and yet Nigerians who dont even have the benefit of using Electric Cookers (since electricity supply is near zero!) have to pay through their nose, for Kerosene as well? ^^^ I use BBC on iphone 4S. "blackberry.net' is the APN l also used. It works but the connection is very, very poor!  but it connects. Hope you enabled "data services" under settings? |

MTN finally subscribed me to BBC! But the damn thing is so baaaaaad (connection/bandwidth), l could not even open my Yahoo Email! ......talk-less of Video-calling! i just short the damn thing down in utter frustration ..(and a loss of over #1200!). Danm! Damn!! Damn!!! BTW: It cant have anything to do with Iphone 4S, can it? |

CFCfan: Yes, I remember now. His name is Bayo Ogunlesi. I think he is the Chairman of the company that runs London Gatwick.He is Nigerian BY BIRTH. For some time "NOW", he is a BRITISH CITIZEN ...by naturalization! He "owns" the British Company (Registered in Britain, by a British Citizen) that runs Gatwick Operations. That is not our own case, we are outsourcing EVERYTHING to the Chinese! I just hope one day, we will not prostrate and beg the Chinese to come and run for Nigerian Presidency! Instead of developing our own "local personnel capabilities", these clueless Ministers are so eager to sell their birthright to foreigners! Shame no dey their dictionary! Those MTN Crooks refused to activate my BBC l subscribed to since yesterday night, around 9pm! I kept checking my balance before l slept-off and it was still intact only for them to send text to me around 3am saying l dont have enough credit (l loaded #1000 for that purpose specifically) to subscribe for BBC. On checking my balance, l realized that they have removed #250 naira! ..and that made it to fall below the #1000 needed. I quickly texted Data off to 131... to stop further deductions. I have topped-up with another #400 just now. I then texted "Data on" to 131 to switch it back on before subscribing for BBC again. Now, for like one hour, they have not switched the data services back on! Silly people, this MTN. The only time they work "fast" is when they have the chance to remove your money. Every other time, it is done in snail-speed. Question: Does anyone have any experience with using a Video-Call Application (like Skype) on this BBC package? Can it last for one month, if used for say like 3hours daily? |

finah: sum1 pls help me. I did the mtn bbc sub. They activated it n i checked status to be sure. but they consumed my airtime when i attempted to browse. I checked status again n they said i dnt hav an active sub. Even their cc confirmd dt my sub was stil active. I cnt do anytin on my n3 nw.Now that is scary! |

I have sent BBC to 21600 as well. They did not remove my money and l cant browse! I tried using Viber (just to check, im no work as well). How do l know if l am on BBC plan? Helep o! Somebody  Is there another way of confirming that l have been activated on the data plan? 1 Like |

As a friend and a Brother, why cant Oliseh just pay Keshi a visit at Home or in the Office and "offer' keshi his "SUGGESTION" ...privately? Why criticize him on TV? lawizle: Av exceeded my fair usage but am still browsing even with zero naira on my phone...I use a Note 1...presently Av used up to 6.64gb...and its all with 1k subscription...but if I recharge it will start deducting money but it continues to browse even if I got no credit...another thing is dat d network flunctuates so Av not been able to upgrade my os to d new jelly bean..hope to do so Wen my subscription expires on d 23rd and I legally renew my package...for d main time is free browsing continua!!!Let me ask this question form you or Networkgenius: If the phone can still browse with zero naira credit, .....and l want to make a voice call; 1.)Will it connect? 2.)If it will not, (due to zero balance) ...and l decide to recharge some #200 on it just for my voice calls, will it immediately wipe-away my #200 or can l continue to use it for calls (at normal call rate)? ItsModella: Definitely kids abroad. Some of them are bottom line spoilt, it's ridiculous. Nigerian kids for the most part are wired not to talk back at an elder with reckless abandon. The consequences of that action won't even allow you to act up.Went to visit a friend and their children just finished their food ...and it was "Mum" who packed the plates! (eldest was about 12yrs and her brother was like 10yrs) So that we can have our discuss, "Mum" asked eldest to go wash the plates and she replied "confidently": No Mum, you go do it, l need to go see my friend next door! I was horrified and the Mum looked at me helplessly and embarrassed. I just smiled and in my mind, l was thinking "Na dis one go kill you in a few years time" Its like she read my mind, she went and pulled the daughter in a "show of shakara" but the girl calmly (and that is what l like most about abroad kids, dem no send at all)removed her hand and said: Mum, if you touch me again, its CHILD ABUSE and I WILL CALL THE POLICE! The Mum just "melted" like a deflated tire! Anyway, l gave her a way out of her embarrassment by telling her not to worry, the girl would come back and do the washing (I knew nothing like that was ever going to happen!) Yea, kids abroad are outspoken, upfront about how they feel and they dont give a hoot BUT...... *Should there not be a difference between a CHILD and a PARENT? *Dont Parents have a responsibility to bring-Up their children in a responsible manner? *Is there anything like "RESPECT and HONOR YOUR PARENTS" ...in our dictionary anymore? *Whose interest does it serve, to have wayward children parading the block, in the name of independence? *Dont even mention those "Child-Welfare folks", most of them are disgruntled, bitter and relationship/marital failures and their policy (like that of the west in areas of sex!) is "We are destroyed and we must destroy you too"! We cant win everything: What Nigerian kids loose in "boldness and being upfront", they gain in good moral grounding ....and l would rather my kid have good moral grounding that become an slowpoke at a young age. Here in the "West" and you will see that 75% of criminality are attributed to KIDS between the age of 9yrs and 15years! "The Untouchable Years"!
