Is abuja better? I did my biometric in Lagos. Has anyone in Abuja gotten their Passport back. Dampops: Better start gathering all the documents you need to attach with you PPR (once it drops) and prepare to send to VFS Abuja using 2-way courier |

Did you try requesting a GCMS note? If you haven’t, I think you should. Kakokako: Hello house, I'm worried...
I am paper route applicant, application over 9 months (Feb 14). I have gotten AIP, Medicals and I have also uploaded my new Letter of Acceptance as requested. I got my BVL on the 6th of this month but till now I have not received any email indicating any further update.
I remember a guy was here early last week to complain about the same thing, but I didn't know if this is the new normal. Why send BVL when you're not ready to send passport.
Meanwhile I also saw a "ghost update" on my profile this morning.
Please has anyone recently experienced this kindly advice on what to do.
Thank you |

Hello people, This is probably the most random question lol... please is it advisable to buy your ticket and things you need to take with you when you get PPR or you have to wait till you get your passport back? Is there any possibility that you can get rejected even after PPR? Abeg o, I'm just curious |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dameelee: 2:12pm On Nov 11, 2020 |
Hello guys, I just got a mail from Nairobi (I sent a webform and an email last week)... They confirmed that your DLI been on the list of covid19 readiness plan is one of the criteria's for getting PPR (it wasn't a generic mail). So if your DLI isn't on the list and you are wondering why you haven't gotten any update (especially for those of us that have AIP or Med request), this is the reason. My fellow Fanshawe people lets be hopeful that we get on that list next week. |

All Glory be TO GOD. Amen |

Yes I did, submitted his(my dads) statement of acct and mine too. You can. brovaSketch: Thank you. Pls did you have to submit the statement of account of the person gifting you?

Hi, Gift deed is a good idea, if your parents are sending the money to you but keep in mind that this money has to be in your possession till you land in Canada. I also made use of a gift deed. brovaSketch: Hello fam, Pls I need a response urgently on this.
Pls is gift deed advisable for study visa. I noticed it is mostly advised for EE. Just want to know if it could work for study visa too. Also do I need to present the account statement of the person giving the gift or just the affidavit and gift deed would do.
I'm getting a gift deed that would cover my living expenses and tuition from my parent. But want to be sure it works |

I’m honestly tired!! I also got the mail and I just checked and saw that they are not on the list still. This is just so annoying. Eilenora: Hello Damelee,
Fanshawe still didnt make the list even after their confirmation that they have been approved. Long Sigh |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Dameelee: 10:21am On Nov 03, 2020 |
Yes o, I applied on the 18th of may, so its way past the standard processing time. I sent Nairobi a webform on Friday last week and also an email, but I just followed your instruction and sent to Beijing and some other places today. Hopefully before the end of the week I get an update. Lekiboboe: Don't worry, yours is on the way.
Amen, is your application within the standard processing time (15 weeks), if yes, have you tried sending webform/webforms to IRCC ?
My DLI is is yet to be on Covid-19 Readiness plan approved DLI list,so its clear that, this is not a yardstick for getting an Update/Decision from IRCC |

Hi Kemi, The list will be updated tomorrow and we will be on the list. We have the approval. You need to wait for your study permit now.
Hopefully BVLs will rain on us subsequently.
We move. |
