Just drop this matter already, its not worth debating and the whole back and forth. Frank clearly started that if the person can afford it, then he should go for it, so many people have done the judicial review and it has worked for them, because we can not afford something doesn't mean others can't. 1m is not so much of a big deal to some people, that for sure I know.

Even if you were the one who paid my tuition fees and packaged my visa application, are you God? Does that mean you are perfect and can’t make a mistake? Does that mean you can’t be corrected?

All I said is that we should give full disclosure. I still stand by what I said - it is not normal to advise people to spend over a million naira on judicial review when you have not exhausted all possibilities.

For judicial review to be the first line of advice to someone who has not even received GCMS notes for their first rejection is unfair. Assuming the person has applied several times and is still rejected then you advice such then that makes sense.

And for all of you to suddenly appear out of nowhere to start insulting me and trying to shut me up simply shows that I have a point. You people should sha be doing things with a conscience. People listen to you and make life decisions. Don’t carry that load lightly.

Silent reader..but i thought to share this one. I think everyone should apply for their gcms notes so you can plan yourself accordingly. it will certainly give you an idea of VO's leanings on your matter especially if you haven't gotten an update and your application has been ongoing for at least 3 months +. It seems a lot of decisions have already been made.

i was worried about a lot of things because i was confused whether to delete my EE profile but i explained in my SOP and said e go be things but not in my case abeg. I am grateful to God for his constant favour and mercies.

My update was correspondence letter (BVL), I'm prepared for the denial message by tomorrow max.
As it stands I'm wishing other TRV hopefuls the very best. For now I'm done with Canadian study permit application. When next I want to, I'll be going for PR.

No, actually they have started sending refusals. I got mine early this month(So fast and sad ). Based on insufficient funds I failed eligibilty.

Thank you so much... I'm thinking of writing ielts before leaving Nigeria and hopefully I pass it well so I don't need to bother about that when the time to apply for EE comes. I'll way my options whichever way. Thanks again for your timely response.

I am not sure that Ontario has a PNP specifically for diploma grads. What I know of is the OINP Masters graduate stream but even that only opens once in a while. A diploma wouldn't qualify you for the Master's graduate draw. There is an OINP stream for international students but you would require a job to qualify. To me that doesn't help much except your points are really low. I say this because with a Job offer and a canadian diploma, most people would have enough points for express entry(without PNP). The headache has always been getting that good job before PGWP expires.

I would suggest that you come first and worry about PR later. You may also choose to find admission in provinces like Manitoba. However, if you would need to hustle to pay fees and living expenses, then I am not sure how easy that would be in Manitoba. You may want to ask someone who schooled in Manitoba what the hustle life for students is like. Hopefully, someone here who knows better would chip in. All the best of luck bro/sis

Truth is 1 year is really short. I know of two people who did not get PR before their PGWP ran out. One has had to go back for another diploma just to hang around legitimately. If you feel it is dicey, upon graduation you may choose to immediately do a second diploma or go for a masters so that you qualify for 3years PGWP. This would give you enough time to find a good job with which you can then apply for PR.

However, depending on your CRS score, you may not even need to wait to graduate before you apply for a PR. Some people may already have the necessary points for express entry or may receive PNP from the province they are schooling in. If you are not that person, then maybe the Canadian degree may give you sufficient additional points to apply for a PR immediately after graduating. If your score is far behind, then you would need to get some Canadian work experience in the required NOC's through the PGWP.

It really does help if your school is in a province that is likely to offer PNP to students.

Hey Eilenora, Fanshawe College also advised me not to start my course without study permit, i was supposed to start fall of this year but I had to defer till Jan 2021. I guess they are just a confused bunch. See ehn just follow your instinct honestly because as it is right now, nobody knows whats going to happen eventually.

AIP only is not a sure guarantee for final approval as boldly spelt out by IRCC. But AIP with MER is almost a confirmation of receiving a positive decision.

All that is done here as regard to AIP including mine are mere speculations based on individual research and observations which may or not be in favour of our laid theory. Hence may make us say you were wrong and I was right. I don't know but I think nobody can authoritatively say a gotten information was shared by a VO in confidence to the person's discretion.

So, it may not be right to use too many definite words when sharing certain information especially in regards to this AIP thingy whether you are very sure or not. If anyone has taken time out to read from IRCC website, therein, you may realize the reason why IRCC uses words like may, could, if and the likes even when they understand this rules clearly.

Make we rest for this matter. People must surely get approval and many refusal go still dey wella. From the onset, refusal dey always plenty pass approval. For this debate, we all duh do well to support and oppose. This duh make people wet no be get the deep understanding about this AIP know the two sides.

Please bear if I talk rubblish, election matter nahim dey hot for Edo State now and I dey location wan try cash out. As you see am the reason for the rubblish.

Please, lets not derail the thread with arguments but information. As for those that have requested for their GCMS notes, please endeavour to share so we can at least know what's going on. Oh, Indians!! These people to cooperate for IRCC matter.

As of 31st August, 2020 eehhh! I have counted about 7 refusals whose GcKey account still shows the normal under review et al. They were all July 19th downwards applicants. All without AIP. The notes will provide more clarity.

Both are awaiting PPR now. I have asked them to screenshot their BVLs too so that people won't say I am lying. But its left to them to honour that. Once mine come, I go post am sharply. People who know me here know that I don't waste time to post updates and developments .

People will get their Passport Requests Letters soon on this thread. I can confirm that two persons I know have received their BVL after medical requests, biometrics and AIP. They are Nigerians and they got their BVL yesterday and we did biometrics on August 24th. I am waiting for mine now sef cos we all applied in May. You are right on many things but I put it to you that you are wrong on this one.

Hello, my friend did. She had all the requirements already. She applied for her PR before she graduated and got it before she graduated. She didn’t have to apply for PGWP. Know your options and understand your situation so you won’t get frustrated. You can also consider schools in provinces with flexible nominee programs for international students.

Please how long does it usually take for the passport to be returned after you submit it?
Someone told me it takes months?

VAC have started dispatching passports that are in their custody back to applicant's mailing address. I know someone who got his passport returned to him last week. Did you pay for any courier service charge after the submission of your passport? if yes, then i would advise that you should keep sending emails to the embassy while you CC: the VAC until your query has been attended to. At this present time, your passport is still with the visa office in Nairobi.

I did my biometric today. I was close to being denied access to the place because of an error I made when applying.
After I booked the appointment, I didn’t get any email so I booked another appointment.. then I got the confirmation mail and shortly after I got another confirmation for the first application.
I got there today and they said my name was reflecting two times and that I have to cancel those appointments and book another one ��
The actor in me came out real quick, I started crying and begging (no time)
They sha eventually allowed me in.

So if you haven’t booked yet and you find yourself in that situation where you do not get a confirmation mail immediately, please wait for some time before doing another.
