Hello House,
Please at what point does review of eligibility change on ones profile? because on my profile it still show "we are reviewing whether you meet eligibility requirements" same thing with the Background Check.
Is this normal? Please keep in mind that I already got AIP and Medical request o.

Applied May 18th
AIP August 6th
Medical request August 11th
Medical completed August 19th (still waiting for it to be updated on my profile)
No further update till now

Please I want to find out how long it takes for IOM to send medical report and how long it takes for it to be updated on the profile?
I did mine last week wednesday (not upfront) and there is not update yet.

*Requirement for Biometrics*

Go with
(1) International passport
(2) 2 photocopies of your datapage. Write your email address and mobile number at the top of both pages.
(3) Print the IRCC letter of Biometrics
(4) Print the Confirmation of biometrics appointment sent to you by vfs.
(5) Pen to fill a form.
You are good to go.

In addition to the above, Canada Biometrics submission center is upstairs when u get to VFS office.
Meet the security at the entrance who will issue a ticket to you, then u will be directed to another security guard who will issue 2 consent forms for you to fill. After filling the forms, wait till ur ticket number is called. It's at the counter u will submit all the documents you came with including the form you just filled. Ur documents will be placed in a pouch and you will be directed to where ur Biometrics will be taken.

Update I've been able to do it o, I guess it was a technical error. Thank you for your assistance.

I tried rescheduling the appointment and it says no appointment found after imputing my reference number. Then i tried schuling a new appointment and it say i already booked an appointment. I'm honestly confused right now.

It should,
Make sure u get a Mail from VFS with the Subject Appointment Confirmation,

u would see

Confirm Appointment , Reschedule Appointment, Cancel Appointment

select Confirm Appointment,

Open with a browser of ur choice, then sel. YES.. Thats all

Its not showing confirm appointment, just reschedule, cancel, schedule

Mine is not showing YES/NO infact there is no confirm on the portal

Hope u got an Appointment Confirmation Mail, if yes,
Make sure u click on the confirmation appointment link in your email (in Blue Color), when u click on that, it will prompt u to open ur Browser,
then u gonna see a directive asking u to confirm ur presence YES / No,
Click on YES, and u will see SUCCESSFULLY UPDATED

This is a confirmation that your date had been secured

Asides the confirmation email you got with the attached letter, did you have to confirm again on the vfs portal?
Cause I'm seeing a link on the email they sent to me saying: As next steps: Click on ‘confirm appointment’ to confirm your visit to the Canada Visa Application Center. Click on ‘reschedule appointment’ for a change in date. You may choose to cancel by clicking on ‘Cancel appointment’. Kindly carry a copy of this letter to your scheduled appointment.

u can give it a shot now,
though I noticed a Legend there showing Aug. 24 & 25 are fully booked and not available anymore,

Aug. 26 upward is available

You should make use of flywire just as stated in your admission letter. That is the best way, plus it is fast.

@Naijaforeigner hello i just got an admission into Fanshawe college and I went to the bank to make payment by filling the Form A document in other to make payment with the CBN rate, but my request was denied on the basis that CBN has stopped making payments through third parties to any school. pls how can I go about this as I have less than 8 days to make payment else my admission will be annulled.

Dameelee and Eilenora, there are several Nigerians living in London and several nairalanders studying in Fanshawe. I have had the privilege of physically meeting 4 of them.

Dameelee, transitioning from study to PR depends on so many factors. You will get clarity once you arrive Canada.

He is currently in Ireland for PGD but wants to go to Canada for his masters next year. He wrote his final exam in May.

The question is does he have to return to Nigeria before he can start his application process? Or he can apply from Ireland?

I got my AIP on Thursday last week (6/8/2020)
and I got medical request yesterday (12/8/2020).. is this a good sign? Should I be excited yet?

Please note that I’m still yet to do my biometric though they requested for that since May (and they still haven’t opened).

I got an update on my application profile today saying I have passed the first stage and advanced to the next stage of my application as an officer as assessed my application.
Please is this a good sign. Note that I haven't submitted my biometric (haven't done it) neither have i done medicals.

I submitted my application on the 16th of May.

I will be coming in December by Gods grace.

Good day everybody.
Please I applied for visa in March and got BVL just a few days after but I couldn't do the biometric because of the lockdown and they are yet to reopen.
I had to defer my admission till Jan 2021. My question now is do I have to reapply for visa again or just go on with my pending application? How do I inform the VO that I deferred my admission?
I am seriously confused please.

Please guys I need a response to this, please anyone with information?
