That’s the only way out.
Moveeee!!! This country is heading to the Abyss.
What ever opportunity you have go for it especially if you’re a youth 25-35 years

Olovictor:

So many bad belles on this thread.
So what if he wants to spend 3 months vacation in the US? So what if he wants to use it to Jakpa? So fucking what? Nigeria is heading for the Abyssa. If you have any opportunity to leave don’t look back.
You will always survive when you get there.

Facts 100% Nigeria is heading towards the Abyss, The smart ones will take making plans to leave.

Wow,

I had to read this thread for good three days to get to this page. I must say I'm ready fired up. seeing your success has whet my desire to travel out, although I'm in the medical line.

A quick question, what's the employment prospects for a Physiotherapist in the states? I have a physiotherapy degree (in view). I also have a HND in Pharmaceutical Technology (Distinction) considering my age(26) I intend to work in Nigeria for few years -just for the experience though!

Then proceed with practicing abroad. Although it is likely to change because this country Nigeria is heading towards the abyss and I just want to leave the for the sake of my sanity.

I'll love your honest response.

NB. I don't have any relatives outside nor do I know anyone in the USA.

Yeah true.... especially if you’re married. As an unmarried person, you always have the option of falling in love to fix your papers

maternal:

Not only is it more expensive, there isn't really a path to stay after school. Horrible advice.

I have said it over and over on this forum, as a youth if you still hope in this failed country that is designed to fail. Then you could as well believe that someday the pig will fly

This country is irredeemable. PDP wasted 16 years clueless APC party is on the route of wasting another 16 years Buhari regime is already wasting 8years.

Before you know it 16+16= 32 good solid years of your life is gone. All you did was to complain about bad governance yet nothing has or would change.

If you have the means to leave this shit hole leave don’t let some hopeless people to discourage. Yes I call them hopeless unfortunate people

Yoruba call people like that “ajegbodo” people who suffer and have no means won’t encourage you to leave, they come online to say rubbish

U are not far from the truth, nowadays majority of people (I am talking about upper spectrum of the middle class) hardly use brand new original consumables and luxury goods. because they can not afford it.

What u will be hearing is tokunbo car, jeep, okrika bra, pant, second hand shoes, bags, sweater, socks to mention but a few.

With the way this country is going very soon we will start experiencing okrika garri, tokunbo rice, second hand salad!

I am fed up with this country. I am officially depressed and I seriously want to leave this hell hole.
The government is borrowing money everyday for projects we are not seeing. FYI as a Nigerian you automatically owe IMF 150k.
The inflation rate is skyrocketing, 500k salary as at today is equivalent to to 200k of 5years ago. Thank Goddess I stored most of my cash in USD.
NPower graduate is earning 33k while “repented” bokoharam member is enjoying 160k plus foreign education.
Our leaders children are citizens and residents of foreign country.
Are we going to continue like this? Now I understand why ppl travel abroad via road, what hope does a graduate have in this country?
My new year resolution is to leave this country before May by God’s Grace. My mental health is astake, I don’t mind any pathway, Student route or Visitor route (That can lead to Residency).
No hope for Nigeria again.

It’s not your fault man...Nigeria is cursed.!! No hope for this country again.
You only enjoy the country if you’re affiliated to a politician or a political office.
Best Advice: If you have the opportunity to travel out! Don't look back.. Air or Land! Any way is a way. You will survive
Travel / Re: Why Is Everyone Advising Everyone To Run From Nigeria? by Damian457: 6:56pm On Nov 13, 2020
Agreed except the Visit visa part... Any which way is way bro. Visiting for US is different for other countries. A USA Visiting visa can land you permanent residency if you’re smart by falling in love in the USA.
I don’t see why a young unmarried person of less than 35years with a US visiting visa shouldn’t utilize the opportunity. Not everybody have the funds for tuition, not everybody can get scholarships.
Our pathways are different. Some ppl even leave Nigeria with permanent residency self others go as Visitors or Student and hustle their ways into the system.
The bottom line of everything is LEAVE THIS HELL HOLE IF YOU HAVE ANY OPPORTUNITY

Kenn55:
@Op, i don't know how old you are. If you are old enough, look back at Nigeria in 2000, look at Nigeria in 2010, Look at Nigeria today then with that pattern, see how Nigeria will be in 2030 etc. That lies your answer.

For people who come from shitholes like Nigeria, having a second citizenship or permanent residence in a sane country is never a bad investment. It is very risky to have Nigeria as your only country. Even your politicians and your big men know this. Their children all have options

Immigration is getting tougher now. If you have what it takes to migrate legally, do it now because in the years to come it is going to be worse. I know someone who had all it takes to legally migrate in 2015 but was carried away with 500k salary, he is regretting it now. If he needed 3m then to make the move then, he now needs 6m to make the same move now. Naira is losing value. Sadly, The value of 500k of today is like 250k of 5 years ago. So if you were earning say 250k 5 years ago and you are earning 500k today, you are still almost at the same spot.

However, i must warn that if you do not have what it take to make a legitimate immigration move, it is better to stay in Nigeria. In fact, in this case, Nigeria would be better than abroad. Don't go with visit visa and expect to maneuver your way, sorry will be your name and you go suffer tire and you will regret it. I don't support this craze of traveling by all means getting more prevalent in Nigeria now. I understand the country is getting worse but it is still better for people who can't migrate legally to remain in Nigeria than getting themselves into a bigger mess abroad. Btw, by abroad, i mean first world countries because no be all abroad na abroad.

Good day. I am planning on travelling this month to the US and I have a few questions. Are there restrictions e.g, I am aware that on my way back to 9ja I have to run a covid test and upload but is the same thing required when I am entering the US? Is two weeks quarantine still in effect or can I travel to the states I want to go to considering the whole trip is actually for two weeks? Thank you as I await answers
