A Nigerian man has taken to Facebook to call out his employer for always short-changing him on his salary at the end of every month.

The man who posted a video of himself complaining bitterly about the situation mentioned that the company is fond of deducting N10,000 from his salary, which is getting him frustrated.

He mentioned in the video that he has been with the company for more than 3 years and his appointment, though was finalized in 2016, he has never received a complete salary.

A set of twin babies were found dead in New York City on Friday afternoon after their dad claimed he forgot them in his hot car.

According to police, the children’s father said he didn't remember the kids were inside the vehicle when he went to work for the day at a VA medical center in the Bronx.

The victims were approximately 1-year-old twins - boy and girl Mariza and Phoenix Rodriguez, according to WABC.

A Ghanaian man has proposed to his girlfriend at her graduation ceremony at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, KNUST.

In the video we sighted, the lady doesnt in any way look delighted over the proposal.

The man could be seen on his kneels extending the ring to her, while her friends cheered her up. But from her disposition it appeared as if she was either not ready for the proposal or she wasn't happy he did it on her graduation day.

She could be seem mumbling something to him, and rather than ait for him to fix the ring on her finger, she collected it from him and made attempt to insert it on her finger by herself.

Social media was amazed after photos of a Malawian league player receiving a chicken as a man of the match award went round.

Nyasa Big Bullets’ striker Hassan Kajoke was given a chicken for his exemplary performance in their 5-0 win over Karonge United TNM Super League match on Sunday at Kamuzu Stadium.

Kajoke scored a brace and as he help his side run over Karonge United in the Malawian league clash.

The award had been earlier said that the award was given by a sponsor. However, because the photo attracted a lot of comments on social media the Malawian league website came out to say that the chicken was given to Kajoke by a fan who was impressed by his performance in the match.

Precious Owolabi, who was an NYSC member serving with Channels Television was killed during the clash between Shiite members and Police yesterday in Abuja.

According to reports, the promising journalist was shot in the stomach and was immediately rushed to the hospital where he later died.

Nigerians have however taken to twitter to express their disgust over the rate of insecurity in the country and how the issue of the Federal Government with members of the Shiite group is gradually getting out of hand.

Lagos lawmaker Desmond Elliot has said that the Federal government needs to ban the importation of foreign movies so that Nollywood can grow.

In his opinion the actor cum politician believes that the importation of foreign content into the country is limiting the growth of the local contents.

Nigerians however believe his proposal does not have a strong reasoning behind it as the stakeholders in the Nigerian movie industry could as well step-up their games to compete with the foreign contents.

A man was reportedly gunned down earlier today at the Sango Police Station after breaking the windscreens of the cars packed within the premises of the station.

According to reports, the man was wrongfully arrested by police officers because he had tattoos on his body. He was then taken to the station.

He however want on rampage after managing to escape from inside the police station.

He reportedly returned with an axe and starting smashing the windscreens of the vehicles parked within the station.

He was eventually gunned down by the officers on duty.

On the 20th of June, I decided to take a break from Facebook for a few reasons. I wasn’t in the best state of mind, and I felt I was losing it. I’ve never really been this way all my life but I guess my father’s death is having a more serious effect on me than I’m willing to admit to. I also wanted to focus on a project that I’m working on, and also get acquainted with my new job with minimal distractions. Thus, I decided to take a break off posting on social media for a few weeks.... as I thought maybe that would help.

However, when the news of Busola’s video broke on Friday 28th of June, I was informed by a friend that the news was all over social media. I decided that I was going to take a break from my break to make a post or two and voice my opinion about it after I have done my findings. The reason being that I have spent the past few years of my social media life speaking up against certain ills in the society, especially those directed at Nigerian women.
Same Friday, I had an orientation for my new job. I had to put my phone on flight mode and later switched it off for a huge part of the orientation period because we are not allowed phones on our work stations. After the orientation, I turned my phone on to get the most shocking voicemail of my life. It left a message saying something like “Hello Nkechi Bianze.

Straight to the point: there is a rumour that broke out on social media this morning about the alleged rape of Busola Dakolo by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. We are offering you *a large amount of money* to go on your Facebook page and all social media outlets to defend Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo. Make posts in your usual fierce ways and defend him.

And if you do, you shall be handsomely rewarded. You are an influencer; a powerful voice on Nigerian social media, and people read you seriously when you write. It is that influential power that we want to reward you for, but that is if you do as we instruct you. We shall furnish you with details of what you should write and how you should write them. Do all you can in whatever way you can to defend him because he is actually innocent. There are no proofs to the allegations.

Operatives of the Nigerian Police are allegedly forcing the Dakolos to sign a paper, reportedly sent by the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, from Abuja.

Avala and Isilomo have been evicted from the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality TV show.

They are the 1st set of housemates to be evicted from the house in the 2019 edition of the show.

Big Brother had earlier announced that Avala, Gedoni, Kafhi, Isilomo, Omashola, Ike are up for eviction.

An Oklahoma woman has been arrested by the Police and facing charges after a camera captured her trying to burn a neighbour's home.

It was quite unfortunate for her she was caught by her own surveillance camera.

The woman identified as Annie Durham, gave investigators the password to her outdoor camera, so they could review the footage, ABC news reports.

The video did help them find the culprit.

Officials watched 59-year-old Durham hurl a flaming towel into the abandoned house next door, that was after she had fired 2 gun shots into her neighbour's home

A South African mas has lost his bet after placing a R10,000 (N250,000) on Ghana to defeat Benin Republic in their Group F encounter at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON in Egypt.

In a screenshot of the bet slip posted on social media, the man took a full-time winning chance in Ghana's favour and he was supposed to win an extra R6,500 if the game had been won by Ghana.

Seidu Oshiomhole, the younger brother of the APC National Chairman and former Governor of the state, Adams Oshiomhole was yesterday attacked and beaten up alongside 14 other lawmakers-elect in the state.

The lawmakers were reportedly holding a meeting at an undisclosed location when they were attacked by thugs allegedly hired by the state government.

According to reports, the meeting was necessitated by the Monday midnight inauguration of nine members of the new parliament and subsequent election of Frank Okiye as speaker. It would be recalled that just nine out of the 24-man Assembly met to elect a speaker in what many have been described as unconstitutional.

The ongoing crisis in the state assembly it was gathered is a result of a fresh rift between Governor Godwin Obaseki and his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole who however singlehandedly anointed him as a replacement.

The 15 lawmakers that were reported to have been attacked have however reported the case at the Police headquarters. They were led by Victor Tiger Edoror, a former deputy speaker who is also eyeing the leadership of the assembly.

A viral video has shown the moment thugs stormed a hotel to attack Oshiomhole, alongside 14 other lawmakers-elect in the state. The lawmakers were reportedly holding a meeting in the hotel.

A lady has taken to twitter to narrate a case of a 4-year-old girl that was being defiled by her 8-year-old female neighbour.

The little girl while being questioned also revealed that another boy in her school who is of the same age also tries to touch her genitals.

Her mother got to know about the defilement when the girl complained of pains in her private part.  Upon medical examination, it was revealed that her hymen had been broken.

A little girl of 4yrs old was brought to my mom's pharmacy today by her mother saying that her little girl keeps complaining of pain in her genital whenever she's being bathed.

When asked what happened to her, she said that another girl that lives in the same compound as she, has been tampering with her v***na (keep in mind the girl that did this to her is about 8yrs old)

This other little girl has been doing this to her whenever she noticed her parents were away, but the previous day, she had forced her fingers into her private part and after medical examination, it was discovered that her hymen had been broken (at only 4)

Her mother kept pressing to find out more and she confessed to another 4yr old boy in her class who's also been trying to finger her. She's been given medical attention and her mother is going to get the 8yr old girl who started all this and also visit the school to find The little boy.

Now my question is, in a case where these rights we're fighting for to keep adult predators away from children now turns out to be a child predator(for lack of a better word) on another naive little girl who then is to blame?

Is it the 8yr olds family system or the school system or the society? Because we all know children learn faster from what they see.Or is it the 4yr old victim whose parents go away to find daily bread and think she's in the company of other kids or at school to learn and is safe?

Andrea Pirlo sues look-alike man who impersonated the Italian footballer for two years just to get free clothes and jewellery.

The man, arrested by Turin police, is identified as 48 year-old former goldsmith Alessandro Palazzolo of Valenza, Daily Mail reports.

Investigations began when the former Juventus and AC Milan midfielder filed a lawsuit after repeatedly being asked to repay debts he had not accrued.

According to Gazzetto della Sport, police enquiries uncovered Palazzolo had deceived shopkeepers in Turin, Brescia, and Naples, asking for discounts and favours and working with an accomplice who would take expensive clothes and jewellery for free.

The publication also claimed that the man also tried to obtain 'facilitated medical examinations' by contacting the ex-footballers doctor.

Authorities in Turin recently apprehended the identity thief and his accomplice by tracing telephone calls and gaining testimonies from traders.

A 67-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Wuraola Folashade Oluloye, has been arraigned at an  Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos for hacking a First Bank account and stole N16million

Oluloye, 67, was arraigned on five counts of fraud and fraudulent diversion, according to a charge marked B/33/2019.

She however pleaded not guilty, the Nation reports.

Chief Magistrate Folashade Olukoya granted Oluloye N500,000 bail with two sureties in the like sum, among other conditions.

She remanded the defendant in Kirikiri Prison, Apapa Lagos pending perfection of the bail terms.

The case continues on June 24.

Earlier, prosecution counsel George Nwosu said the defendant was arrested following a complaint by First Bank through its Head of the Department of Forensic Auditors, Mr. Solomon Akhanolu.

Nwosu told the court that the defendant committed the alleged offences between last October 16 and December 31, at First Bank’s Agidingbi Branch, Lagos.

The court heard that Oluloye allegedly hacked the account of a First Bank customer, Emefiele Ogbor, with account No 3014419974.

She withdrew N16,200,000 and transferred same to her accounts in Stanbic IBTC, Union, Sterling and First banks.

The defendant subsequently withdrew the money from the four accounts and converted it to her use.

First Bank discovered the fraud during an audit and blocked the defendant’s bank account.

Shortly afterwards Oluloye showed up at the bank to make withdrawals from her account. Unknown to her, the police were waiting and she was arrested.

A man has taken to social media to call out some officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS whom he accused of extorting him of a pack of beer.

The man identified as @ogbenioloyede wrote that when the officers checked his ID card and found out he was legit, he was asked to open his car trunk, which he did.

When they saw a pack of Beer, he claimed he was asked to forfeit it or get arrested.

He wrote on his page:

'SARS stopped me at Lagos Island today, they checked my ID card and find out I’m legit, so they asked me to open my car trunk, they saw a pack of Goldberg they carried it and ask me to go or else they’ll arrest me,  daylight robbery.'

While reacting to his post, some Nigerians narrated their ordeals in the hands of the dreaded officers. A certain user wrote that after searching his cousin's fiance and finding nothing incriminating on him, the officers sniffed his palm and accused him of smoking weed

A stepfather, who has been there for his stepdaughters, has been adopted by the sisters as their father after they made the decision to take up his surname.

According to the sister, their abusive father wouldn't step up to his responsibilities and so they decided to give their stepfather a Father's Day present by taking up his name.

Twitter user Jia, from Renton, Washington, revealed that she and her sister have been living with their stepdad for the last 12 years and decided to be a full part of his family.

They filmed his reaction and shared on Twitter.

In the video, the stepfather burst into tears and embraced his daughters when they revealed the news in a card to him.

Egypt ex-President, Mohammed Morsi, who was ousted by the army in 2013, has died in court, state TV says.

The former president was said to have fainted after a court session where he was facing espionage charges and subsequently died. He was 67.
