I'm still waiting for something to shock me as far as being clueless is concerned from this government. Same way I'm still waiting for something to make me think they've got a clue about what they are doing. |
That will definitely be cooked in the "kitchen" ![]() |
AfonjaStinks:I think they use it for painting houses ![]() |
chmeze:Well, while I had my reservations before the election, any people in Nigerians' shoes may just have made the same mistake because of so much propaganda and misinformation people were fed with. If anyone has a legal means of migrating, it may be the better choice with the way things are at the moment. I did same a while ago for the sake of my family. ![]() |
chmeze:Don't mind me jare. Just having a go at you for the fun of it . I don't actually see the man resigning except he's successfully impeached. Won't say more than that for now. I really feel for people living in Nigeria at the moment ![]() |
chmeze:Shaaaataaarp!!! hunger never wire your head. You will sing a new song soon ![]() |
It's interesting to see that people barking at me, when I made my personal opinion known before the election have now become sleeping and gentle dogs . I can never forget the hunger I went through in 1984, ever. Despite that my parents were very hard working and honest people! |
Neckless ![]() |
bettercreature:You're very funny. Do you think the queen would back anything that would have long run negative effects on the UK? Think again! ![]() I changed my mind about how I wanted to vote yesterday morning, but I won't tell you which side I took eventually ![]() |
Hmmn! Stylishly and surely, the AGENDA is being unveiled. If I talk now, I know some people will say I'm a fan of FFK's,whereas, I'm only saying the obvious. I'm not a fan of any Nigerian politician (or should I say anyone practicing politics in Nigeria?) ![]() |
PassingShot:Typical Nigerian as usual ![]() |
PassingShot:If you are not suffering, that means all others are enjoying abi ![]() |
Would this include people in his own party who were formally in PDP? |
I don't know why I tend to think that our past leaders (or is it present or both? as we are still being lead by the same people) deliberately suppress the leadership development of the youths since 60's, in order to perpetuate themselves as leaders in the country. This portends potential crisis as the crop of old people currently leading the country passes away, leaving behind a set of people with no exposure to leadership skills, to carry on the country progressively. A people suppressed and repressed in every way possible will definitely find it difficult to break out of the suffering mentality in order to create a good future for themselves and the coming generations after them. I may be wrong, but I have a genuine concern for the future of Nigeria. |
AdaNri1:I will be surprised if we exit I don't think most people are fully convinced by all the stuff highlighted by the "out" campaigners. They're already causing family confusion, I'm in, my wife is out, our two grown up sons are yet to decide ![]() |
In my opinion, I don't feel these people have got a clue on how to run a government, or they were not really prepared for this. They always show a great deal of frustration over every matter ![]() |
aflyingbird:I don't think that guy supported a man killing or abusing a woman. You didn't seem to understand what he was trying to say. The guy is at a level of knowledge that only those who have been there or who have learnt from others' cases would understand. If you lived abroad, read stories or have certain experiences, it would be easy for you to identify with and see some truth in his submission. Take it easy and don't call someone an idiot because you seem not to be on the same page of the book with them. The "joke" may be on you at the end of the day and that could make you sound exactly like what you called the other person. - Love and peace! |
I wish I could just come down to Naija to see face to face those arguing with me before election, most especially my brother-in-law who believed that an accounting job would "land on his lap" once his party was declared winner. His voice is now "low" on the phone, while still claiming "everything is still on course". He's like someone operating under hypnotism from the Change agents ![]() While I don't support corrupt governments, I still don't understand why there was so much bitterness and hatred from APC followers against the the ruling party. One could almost "hold" the bitterness in them physically. I never saw that level of bitterness even during Shagari's NPN days in the south west in the late 70s and early 80s. It was as if people were bewitched to be very bitter against anything that had to do with GEJ I really look forward to seeing where all these will end! |
In Ondo tongue "Lapantete be s'okun" (meaning: Let's see who will be first to jump to the sea) On a serious note, I really fear for Nigeria at this rate. ![]() |
True to character. Anyway the "broom people" are associated with night and darkness, so what do you expect? ![]() |
OAFMods:I doubt if you are Nigerian and if you are then you're my kind of person. I wish I could find 5 of your type on this forum and I'm really serious about this. God bless you! |
The following may provide answers to many questions raised on this thread; https://www.nairaland.com/2723006/why-should-very-careful-what#39822810 |
ajoskele:Next time sir, try and include something like https://ng.boell.org/2015/06/04/not-all-glitters-nigerias-bitumen-story It won't benefit anyone to just read your contribution, ending it with a bash at the governor with such a statement as "This is an attempt to sell a spoilt name" who would that benefit? I don't think this is the purpose of the topic. I've learnt in my life that using every opportunity to point accusing finger even when unnecessary would not solve problems (current Nigerian government's mentality, though that's reduced a bit recently) ![]() By nature, most people playing "saints" in the current government would do worse if they're allowed by the man in the helm of affairs. ***Please note that I'm not one having interest in politics. Just being objective*** |
ajoskele:Proof to back up your statement? |
ajoskele:Do you have any proof please? |
He shouldn't worry. I got the "Safe" under my bed All these "chop chop" politicians sha! |
It's very funny that when there's a post in any forum that shows a positive aspect of APC party, their supporters will rush in to comment like bees in a beehive, but when it's the opposite, they're nowhere to be found or very scanty in number. At least try and be mature and balance things up.Abeg I don't support any party oh! before some people I don't want to mention try to "lynch" me. I was a teenager in Nigeria during Buhari's military regime and I enjoyed WAI and other orientation programs he introduced. I have nothing against him personally. (Except of course, he's part of the current CHANGE!!! ) #Justkidding |
This is really unfortunate ![]() |
I'm surprised to read this because I know the magistrate in question personally and don't think she would go to that extent. ![]() |
I really don't think there's need for this. Like somebody said previously, people seem to be used to just taking the opposite of whatever he says. Changing him is just a waste of time as people may be confused by his replacement, not knowing whether such person is saying the truth or a "Laier" until after a while ![]() |
Moz22:Please explain how bigotry is related to the write-up as per the definition below; "intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself" I'm waiting. Thank you! |
Ola17:Haa! You no dey fear? I no dey o!!! ![]() |
