My Brother Geriatrics is linked to Alzheimer and dementia which is simply memory loss which HardMirror seems to be suffering from all of a sudden. Perhaps he has selective amnesia but he seems to be adamant that he does not with this person he says died yet he cannot remember the name.

This is 2016 and he remembers names of everyone else and dates and locations and events but someone does not remember this particular name even though he tagged the person as a "brother" and someone also extremely popular like him claimed to be.

CACCF members fortunately have stepped up to deny his claims and he is still ranting. In saner climes he would have been in a straight Jacket by now.

Christianity is a REVEALED religion (others include Islam, Judaism...) that teaches that man is a FALLEN BEING that is in need of REDEMPTION. He must have FAITH and TRUST in the AUTHORITY of the bible and/or the church (because the church has a special revelation from God) in order to be redeemed and saved. The question is why am I abandoning my religion?

I have carefully done my research and discovered that there are a whole lot of contradictions and confusion with regards to the teachings of revealed religions. These have generated so many controversies, wars, enslavement of the mind and backwardness. I have seen that in the bible, countless threads between atheists and theists here on Nairaland, from other religious books, from the preachings of christian and other religious leaders and so on. I can't entangled myself in this confusion and contradictions and that is why am abandoning my religion.

Do I believe in the existence of God?

My New religion: Deism/Natural Religion

Error of a dead brother, is not intentionally twas deliberatly stated in the story to mock the christain practice of fasting. Besides he was trying to evade the questions, he could have just said that he was not SURE.

Plus he could remember supposed details of other events and remember that the said brother died from fasting related issues and glowingly described how the brother leads prayer programs and how he comes to borrow their tent but conveniently forgot the name yet remembers the names of other people.

The guy is a lying Genius.

4 CACCF members have come on this thread to say that none of their members died in 2009 or even 2010.

Awesome! 2 things jumped out at me on that email convo.

1) Hardmirror now claims to be unable to remember the name of the brother who died (even though active CACCF members on nairaland who were in that set have come out here to say nothing of such happened) Note Hardmirror says he is not a member of CACCF but a member of ASF so how can he claim to know more than those who are actually CACCF members?

2) HardMirror is now claiming that there could have been some inaccuracies due to the error of human memory.

If this were to be a law court then the verdict is in from the mouth of the accused.

While urging hardmirror to retrace his step back to Christ I will not want him to bring CAC Campus Fellowship FUTA into his story because I was one of the leaders in the fellowship for the session he quoted and we did not have record of anyone that died due to fasting. I will still want to refer to him as brother because I know that it is still in the power of God to save him and others like him. Anyone who attended FUTA would know those names as CACCF was popular which is why their notable members would also be popular..Besides they were also friends outside the fellowship and coursemates to a few.

This thread was a deliberate attempt to get us to refute HardMirrors story and he is not the one to dictate to us how to go about it or where to begin from. We chose to start from the least important detail which is beginning to look like the most important detail right now.

Investigations must begin from somewhere and the investigator chooses where he feels is most appropriate and we have chosen.
