But so far all attempts to verify it kept hitting a brickwall.

However at a certain stage he suddenly said this below;

At bolded even if I eventually got the name, I won't post it. But me saying what I know happened for sure is a lie, that won't ever happen. Don't tell me they are ending this investigation with this dead brothers name, why are they avoiding other evidences?

He remembers dates and names of people he alleges he knew but could not remember or forgot the name of a "brother" which he describes in this manner below....

There are several limitations I am having in getting his name now. But I stand by my claims

He claims that this brother who died used to organize prayer programs for the CACCF fellowship but attached is what i discovered. Please note the portion in read.

Please note that Hardmirror has been repeatedly asked to declare this name and he has vehemently refused.

On his letter to Howmon he suggested he was going to ask around to see if anyone could remember the name of the dead brother. and with his own mouth this was his comment

No less than 5 alumni of FUTA who were there between 2006 and 2012 have stepped up to say No such deaths occured in their CACCF fellowship as claimed by Hardmirror and these are their statements

@HandMirror, I attended CAC Campus Fellowship FUTA, I left FUTA in 2007, I just spoke with the 2009/2010 president, Eva T (whom you should know) and he claimed your assertions about the CACCF brother that dies due to complications from fasting were FALSE.

The Nairalander whose moniker is Howmon while in FUTA was an active member of CACCF, which is the fellowship Hardmirror claims the brother who died belonged to. This was his email to me attached as a screengrab

I am sure a lot of us have read his very elaborate story about how he went from being a very popular Ordained Pastor to becoming an Atheist. This thread was recently on the front page and for those who missed it, below is the link again;

On this thread HardMirror talked about amazing exploits he allegedly wrought in the power of God but somehow he dumped all the experiences and miraculous works for reasons best known to him.

Now I was on another thread having a banter with a nairalander when another nairalander with the moniker Hopefullandlord came on and accused me of calling Hardmirror a liar (which i actually did) and challenged me to prove he lied in his PASTOR TO ATHEIST story. and this was hopefullandlords words

walk the talk, its not until you own a forum, your sensational tales should be backed up on a forum you don't own too OR are you admitting you're on the side of falsehood on Nairaland?

I calmly asked him to open a separate thread for that purpose. However before he could do that a Mod pushed the PASTOR TO ATHEIST story to nairaland front page and it was now available for more people to read and they ate up the story like rice and stew.

Among those who happened upon the story were people who attended the same school HardMirror said he went to and this is FUTA (FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AKURE) and a lot of them were shocked at what they were reading especially the years mentioned by hardmirror in the story was the same period they were in the school.

He mentioned that a particular brother in the fellowship died from complications that came from fasting...A nairalander who also finished in 2010 from his school asked for the persons name since he did not hear of such a case and Hardmirror did not respond.

NOW I ASK THE SAME QUESTION. WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE BROTHER WHO DIED VIA FASTING RELATED ISSUES? WE HAVE PEOPLE WHO CAN CONFIRM THIS.

If he cannot provide this name and we affirm it happened then we have our conclusion.

Hardmirror claimed he knew the brother who died from fasting complications (Ulcer) and for 16 pages on the thread meant for exposing his lies he has been dodging from mentioning the name.

However he reached out to the FUTARIAN who made the first enquiry and owns the moniker Howmon and attached is his email to the nairalander. I have circled in red the part to note.

As you can see from the screengrab he claims to have forgotten the name of the brother who died and also admits to his story being inaccurate due to memory error and this statement alone puts the credibility of his story to question.

You have your reasons for wanting to reject him especially since he was never an Atheist! If you look closely at his writings you will discover he still speaks in the now and addresses himself as "am" and not "was". I think lack of recognition probably drove him away and ultimately to this.

My focus is His story and not his personal life but if sometimes the story touches his personal life then he caused it and not anyone else.

I'm beyond outstanded why anyone would claim to be a former pastor and now he is an atheist if indeed he isn't a Satanist. What's that to be proud of? Somehow the issue of Hardmirror popped up and then hopefullandlord kept insisting we should point out his lies and I told him to open a thread to the effect.

Few minutes after telling him that, a trigger happy mod pushes hardmirrors pastor to atheist thread to front page which alerted all the FUTARIANS who have been in the dark about it. Then hopefullandlord ignorantly went ahead to open this thread on refuting his lies and mentioned us anf got hardmirror to endorse it.

As you can see, The CACCF futa members stole the show.

Thats what happens when you draw undue attention to yourself and get people to believe and trust your words while all along your words were not reliable in the first place.

Its like trying to be the leader of a rebel army and rallying and boosting the morale of your army with a very bold pep talk and vow to them you would be the first into battle when the enemy comes.

Then when the enemy does come and in the face of battle you turn tail and run even before the first arrow is fired without considering the same army you led to the warfront who have been looking up to you.

For probably the first time on Nairaland an attempt has been made to vet a tale of two mirrors and we can all see the result of that.

confessions being brought forward without coercion, information being hoarded, memories being conveniently lost and inaccuracies in the stories being confessed to.

In the judicial system its like a man who committed Murder but got to court and ended up pleading guilty so his charge would be commuted to a lesser offence of Manslaughter. But in the law GUILTY IS GUILTY!

But I don't think it's fair asking him to mention the presidents of CACCF for those two years especially since he said he attended ASF instead. I don't think there's anyone who keeps records of presidents of fellowships that aren't his own.

This is the point i am trying to make here. I only asked one question and that question is what has brought us thus far. What are the chances that the first and only question i asked is revealing itself to all of us that he lied about it.

This particular lie is a part of the whole elaborately told story so its highly probable that his entire story was made up especially since he confessed in his email to Howmon that there are memory inaccuracies in his story.

Its pretty much cut and dry. His story was an elaborately told lie yet he claimed it was "A GENUINE STORY"

How hard is it to find out who the state evangelism coordinator is? How hard? But probably realizing that information will verify my story, he has chosen to sideline it. You do realise that a phone call that would mention who the name of the state coordinator was would still not point it out as being you. Afterall your email to Howmon was written to him with an Alias as you wanted your identity hidden so even if i produced a name you would claim its yours so i will not follow that line of investigation.
