1. Sometimes the way you folks talk of your partners, it leads me to wonder if you even consider them as equally capable adults such as yourselves. Can an adult be cajoled into doing what he/she does not already want to or desire to do — without a gun to the head of course?

2 From the way you talk, I can tell you have never in fact been clubbing at all in your life. I used to do it a lot in my young years and I never picked up any thing I didn't want to pick up, why? because of the person I am. Everyone is like that. We only pick up what we already have and loose disciple. And these things you can pick up pretty much anywhere really. So, if you want to shackle a person because you are afraid the person does not have the same disciplines you have then it is better you don't even engage that person at all because whether the person clubs or does not, he/she is bound to pick up that which he or she already have loose ideas of.

3. So are you saying it is OK for a man can go clubbing with his side chicks but not his own wife? It is ok for a man to pick up on the vices you listed but not his wife? Or what exactly am I reading here?

I said what I said and its clearly up there for you to see and don't put words into my mouth. I can't start to tell you how much I clubbed before getting married. Its my clubbing and with style.
Clubbing is not for married peeps. Have u been to a clubs where naked girls dance? I know u havent. I can refer some for you if you are in Lagos.
People making it out at odd places and prostitutes half naked galivanting everywhere looking for clients, even the gigolos are not left out. People basically trying to hook up and have quick s#x. Peeps openly using banned substances and trying to mix up. Is that the type of environment you would like to expose you wife or husband to? You may be going to beer parlour joints but don't mistake it here for clubs.They are two different things. you claim to have good morals as if everyone else doesn't. It will only take the right person to introduce you to cocaine abuse if you can afford it, it will only take the right person to seduce your wife right in the club and have sex under your nose without your knowledge. It only takes the right person to make you go out of your ways to do things, good morals or not, strong willed or not. It always takes the right person. Basically avoid temptations in places you know they abound. There are other places to catch real fun with your spouse apart from clubs and mind you, there is no such thing as a good club. clubs attracts men and women of easy virtues in droves.
I wish I met someone like you those years, I for dabaru your life pata pata and by now you will be a real junkie instead of naira land kobo junkie. No jokes! Some never recovered till now.

If you know , you know. Everything that glitters is not gold. Many things are going on underground in clubs. Moreover you pick up vices you never dream of in your life time. The way the op iis painting clubs makes me laugh. Frequently going there will make her start seeing prostitution as a norm, drinking and smoking all sought of legal and illegal smokes etc. You become used to all these vices and must one day be tempted to give in.
Talking from experience.
No sane man takes his truely loved and wedded wife to a club. There are other recreational centers he can take her to.

They wake up in the morning go to work, come back eat and sleep and put it on replay daily, so marriage becomes boring for them.
No special outings, no weekend relaxation routines, just regular boring daily activities and will complain that their partners are boring or cheats. It's simply because you are not ready to make your marriage your heaven.


I was one of those that believed that clubbing is one bad thing and is meant for prostitutes but I was totally wrong.
The first day my husband took me to a club, I saw people drinking and dancing. I was shocked to also see soft drinks, I was like, so one can get soft drinks in a club, that people have already labeled as a bad place.
I also saw an aged married couple, I was wowed, I loved the fact that they still make themselves feel young as grown parents.


Alcohol is a choice, being an alcoholic is bad but you don't have to judge people by their lifestyles.
I know most food we digest contains alcohol but what one must avoid is excessive intake of it.
I'm not an alcoholic and I don't know what alcohol drink taste like and I don't wish to know but I can't condemn those that love it.


The people who own clubs - did that with the intention of making people happy, believe me, a club is a happy place.
So much smiles, laughter and dancing.

It's a Shame that I don't know how to dance, I surely need dance classes 😄

Diogenes syndrome is a big case and I can never put up with someone with a dirty habit. That alone is enough reason to kick him out.
My advise is you sit him down and have a heart to heart talk with him. Let him go find an apartment even if its a only room apartment. Know how much the rent is and how much he has and support him financially to pay for the room and move out.
This way their will be no I'll feelings etc.

My senior sisters second son was killed bby a diabolical house help brought into their house just like that. A few months old child for that matter. His legs was broken and some locks of his hair cut for reasons best known to the witch of a house help.its nearly torn their marriage apart for the grace of God.
