his nurses too aren't graduate, he train nurses well in his hospital too FYI and they deliver well..

You can only do that because of regulatory lapses and pharmacist are still few and most are not so interested in hospital practice.
But that will soon change with more regulatory strictness and more pharmacists in the system.

Drs there don't try to stop other profession from advancing in their career despite though their salaries are different but there is equity and not equality.

am a medic and the only people I ll love to employ in my hospital are the med lab or rather microbiologist.. other sector na trained ordinary sales boy who can dispense drug in place of a pharmacist, a trained lady as nurse,

employ professional nurse and pharmacist say wetin wen I can actually train cheap ones myself.. hian ,

Can someone tell me, Are doctors on strike too? All our health facilities are totally dried and functionless, doctors come late to work as usual (as at 8:00am, no office is opened.). Patients are helplessly waiting to see..... not you, but doctors, who couldn't professionally open case note, nor put financial records properly. They, the doctors, could not properly diagnose the patient because they are novice in the laboratory experiments, where they want to head at all cost. For truthful Evidence, you can go to all our tertiary hospitals throughout Nigeria at the moment, you will see disoriented, minute and insignificant (as far as health service delivery is concerned) working with least very low, if any enthusiasm. The Stone that the builders rejected has become the Chief Corner Stone. Let me tell you, These doctors are already discharging our patients to go and die at home. Why?
1. They don't know how to give them drugs.
2. They can't stay with them and care for them.
3. Even out patients are not enjoying their services and thus already looking for alternatives even with traditionalist. All these is because Real Health Workers are on Strike. You know what, doctors are happy because we are on Strike, Reason:
1. They will run away from office. Govt agent should investigate from now on.
2. The Call duty they claim to be doing and collecting its huge allowance for, don't be surprised you won't find them doing it.
3. Instead of staying in the office, you will see them going around their usual private businesses (hospitals, clinic and Pharmacy stores). Govt should prove it. These and many more.

The data is incorrect. The GMC conducts plab exams twice yearly with a Centre capacity of 1500. That’s for Uk only. Nigerian doctors practice in Namibia! Things are that bad! Soon rich Nigerians will travel abroad to see us leaving poor Nigerians to suffer.
I expect Nigerians to rise up in unison to demand better medical conditions but they won’t. Some ignorant people are even saying the 2000 is a lie! .
My advice for any serious minded Nigerian doctor. Run for your dear life. You need info,materials etc,lemme know pls.
