Well, CCIE isn't childs play. People study years and years for it and noone hires a CCIE without on-the-job experience. I still think you should settle down at CCNP for sometime.. after working a few years then head for CCIE.

That means what he can achieve in networking certifications in a year might be equal to approximately 2 months with me who have do it full time and have about 12 hours of study during the day

Since you come from a programming background, the kickoff would be a very smooth one.. but what I do not really find smooth is your friend in Dubai promising to fix you up. itcolony: Thanks for the concern. I started studying for Cisco CCNA since march 2015 and I know I understand the concept very well. I try to study 12 hours in a day with the best video tutorial (CBT NUGGETS) and I have watch almost all the certification videos
For me, i just need to re watch it, revise some basic concepts then write the exams. I probably know my programming background has really help me cos I learnt to watch long hours of videos and the power of google search with programming.
I try to do practical with packet tracer and GNS3. For me, CCIE LAB is the main challenge in networking. Thats when I know I must have good experience with Live networking equipment not simulation.
And Job I have a friend in Dubai who hopefully promise to fix me up. I just pray I get good job to finance my web startups.

Are you kidding ? All these certs within 12 months ? I wouldn't advice you to do so because believe it or not, that's a big BRANNDUMPING. And no, with anything you could get a job anywhere, it depends on what the company requires. All these certs within a short duration is not impossible but an HR would think a lot more than twice before hiring such a candidate. These are technical certs and certs doesn't even guarantee you a job, it just gets you through the door to an HR. Don't rush it, start gradually. Believe me, you'll understand when you're halfway through CCNA R&S. I once had a friend who said the same thing - I want to do it all in a year CCNA - CCNP - CCIE. Let's just say after a study hours on CCNA, he dropped it. Don't do it for the sake of the certs, do it for the knowledge.

Don't be bothered. The reason is because only the Embassy in the country you got your degree is authorized to stamp your DOV. They won't stamp on your original ceritificate. THey'll stamp on the translated copy.
Thanks very much for your reply. Actually i am not in Naija. I am in Thailand and I am a Cameroonian and i did the pre-enrollment today. The embassy told me i most contact the Italian Embassy in Cameroon for the DoV and the other docs and they said i will need the translated docs for visa application here in Thailand. I have been in touch with the italian embassy in Cameroon and they said they will need my diploma and they did not mention transcript. I hope transcript is not needed in this process. They also talk about legalization of my original degree certificate. How can they legalize my original certificate since i will have only one in my entire life. Please help I am confuse

Because last time I checked, JAVA and C++ weren't cold hehe Certification does help a lot but for programming languages, how many do you plan to sit for ? kinglseymike - Yes, this is how it's done in some Schengen Uni's. Though this trend isn't very common but you'll find one or two schools out there which follow it. Pay your fees and be optimistic. Don't be negative. You just got your admission letter and you're introducing the words "What if".

I'll advise you to start with CCNA but you'll need to know a little something about networking and PC's before venturing into it. IF you happen to not have those basics then you'll need to get yourself acquainted with Network and PC Fundamentals. When you're admitted for a course, the Institute is bound to give you everything you need.

I'll respond to your email. But it is not very expensive to keep up in India. The amount spent for accommodation and meals vary from one to the other. Depends on if you like to eat out or cook at home... and etc.. Let's just 20-25K Naira will serve you well monthly. Again, it depends on how you spend. I can't tell you how much it will cost for a whole year but that is it for a month.

Google German Translator ? I am sure that will be of some help but I'd advice you to do some more findings. There are audio files everywhere, youtube tutorials too. You'll need to invest time in this.
IELTS is not as hard as you think if you prepare for it. You could even aim 8 if you do your home work well. The Internet has got almost everything you'd need to study for it. Buy books, go through question banks.. and you can score at least a 7.5. 6.5 may be the UNI requirement but a 6.5 is very low.

Some may prefer Germany for some reasons while others, France for other reasons. It's for you to decide - list out the pros and cons of both the countries and then decide where's good for you.

I got rejected by Stuttgart and TUM (E pain me o make i no lie ) but as of today, CAU Kiel, TuHH (full admission) and FAU (dependent on interview) have come calling. Offenburg is still outstanding.
This is just another step but it is one step closer to the goal than I was last month.
With respect to studying for professional certs, you don't really need to study dumps. In fact, if the concerned authority finds out you dumped to pass the exam, your license go run with Usain Bolt and you'll be totally banned from writing cert exams with the concerned organization.
Meanwhile, I strongly suggest you study for certificates from vendors outside of your UNI studies. The IT world is very competitive right now and understand that even though you have certs and degrees, it only walks you through to the door of a HR.
Study to pass, understand the concepts and do not DUMP.
I must confess you have spoken well and really deepened my instinct and understanding to some chances that can easily boost me but on the other hand actually I don't really have time to study the dumps/materials and as well the exam but as it's now I need to squeeze out time for that.
Moreover I want to meet up for the winter admission and just English proficiency will be the remaining part just for my documents to be complete but since I got an option of a proof of proficiency then I have to emulate the chance.
Definately it's in the first list of my scale of preference irrespective of the option I have now.
As for the embassy I will Definitely go with the proof of the proficiency and I believe my chat and conversation might also be convincing though just thinking aloud.

Of course, it should be. But computer sciences and intelligent systems and information engineering ? These are all under IT as a field and these 3 are streams. Computer Science on itself is somewhat programming oriented. Intelligent Systems could take a bit of sensor related studies and information engineering is way way broad though it is Software-Defined.
You should look into weighing different courses from different UNIs. Read the syllabi and choose what's best for you.
