livelovelaugh: Again, you have failed to show me how "putting America first" has improved the life of the average American. Please enlighten me on one single policy the Trump administration has taken to improve the life of the average american in the name of "putting america first"? I will wait. Please don't be misled, the bread and butter of Trump's administration will always be cutting down legal immigration and tax cuts. And dont forget the class of people who do the necessary but dirty jobs in America - Immigrants. |

livelovelaugh: This argument is sadly false. Immigrants are known leading job creators in the Us. @Potential immigrants: have you noticed that since Trump became the President, the response to every problem is immigration? @put Americans first: According to your post, you live in New York. I lived in Connecticut now I’m North Carolina. Please may I ask, Since the “Put Americans first movement”, have you noticed any positive change in the quality of your life? Did you get affordable healthcare? Did you get a salary increase? Did you get more paid sick leave or did you get affordable tuition? @America admired by outsider: Sorry to burst your bubble. The world is now aware America is nothing but living on past glory. Please tell me what’s to admire about America? In Canada and most European countries, Medical expenses are free. Mandated sick leave exist. College tuition is affordable. Again, tell me, how is America great? @Daily paid jobs: The fact that people exist in America who live Hand to mouth is a testament to the failed system.

GamalNasser: Oga please don’t be offended but your post reeks of ignorance. Please tell me, have you been to America? How do you know the democrats are to blamed? Please open your eyes and read with an open mind. Donald trump failed big time. He disbanded the pandemic response team responsible for pandemics. He failed to use the Presidential emergency act to compel companies to make PPEs and ventilators. Nurses and doctors are relying on PPEs donated by individuals and companies. He also failed to mobilize the CDC to set standardized testing for Coronavirus. Trumps failures are too many to mention. As we speak, Some Republican governors Refused to shut down their respective states. The few who did shut down their states are agitating for speedy reopening. I laugh. |

Nuel4: Your ignorance is appalling. It is clear you have never been to America. You are citing screenshots from Fox News as proof of Democrats negligence. Ignorance at its finest. It’s seems you have forgotten that your messiah and personal savior, Donald Trump, called the Virus a “hoax by the Democrats”. Your messiah also assured the public the virus was nothing but the common flu and assured everyone that it would pass in the summer. But you wouldn’t highlight that, The dems are to be blamed. You also don’t know your lord and personal savior, Donald Trump, disbanded the Pandemic response team created by Obama (a Democrat) to fight potential pandemics. You don’t know that. But go ahead and blame the dems. You also obviously don’t know that New York City is the most populated city in America. With two extremely busy international airports. Nope you don’t know that. But blame the dems you must. You also don’t know or acknowledge that the top 10 states by economy in the Us are all Democratic states. The bottom 10 states are all run by Republicans. You obviously don’t know that right? But go ahead and blame the dems. People like you in Nigeria who have clearly never been to the US but think you understand this country are highly misguided and extremely uninformed. Have a nice day |

Death is the destination we all share as humans. In spite of your wealth, status or political power, someday, you would die. What matters is your legacy i.e how you lived your life. After death, the life you lived would be remembered in terms of how much lives you improved or how much pain you created. That's all. Let this be a reminder to us all, someday we will all die. Let your life be a force for good not evil. 2 Likes |

To categorically call out blacks for being irresponsible alone shows your Bias. You talk of crime. Brother, I live in America and I have done my research. Whites commit crimes at the same and even worse rates than blacks. Whites are easily forgiven but blacks, not so much. Here read and open your eyes: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/06/nyregion/nyc-police-subway-racial-profiling.html and please, don’t come here giving inaccurate information like blacks are completely irresponsible. It is this so called irresponsible people that fought for your right to be here in America. for the past 400 years, Where were you and your responsible ancestors? Where were you when your people were used as slaves? If you and your people were so much better, why is your country a shithole? You come from Nigeria to benefit from a system you did nothing to contribute to. Typical opportunistic people with zero empathy. The man is a clown. Whites make up over 50% of the us population and by default lead in drug usage. The hypocrisy of America stinks. ursullalinda: A number of reasons: 1. Healthcare is prohibitively expensive in America. People would rather stay home than go see a doctor in America. It’s hard to believe but this has been my experience here. 2. Donald Trump and the Republican Party has done everything possible to undermine the american health care system. They have tried to make it more expensive as well as cut healthcare spending. Obamacare wasn’t the best but it was way better than anything America previously had. Obamacare led to giving 40million America’s who have never had any health insurance access to affordable, effective healthcare. However, Trump and the republicans are currently actively trying to abolish Obamacare. If you doubt me, google it. 3. Donald Trump and the republicans are focused on the Stock Market and not healthcare. Donald Trump does not care about the average american. He only cares about reflection and the stock market. That’s the reason he called the virus a hoax. Trump had ample time - he was notified in December but downplayed the severity till March. That cost the us ample time to prepare. Now America is just playing catch up. 4. Trump made it difficult to perform testing so as to reduce the number of infections in America. WHO had a functional test in January but Trump and his team refused to use the test and instead opted to develop an test from scratch. That test not only failed but proved wildly ineffective. The us just commenced using the WHO test. I think this heavily cost the us in terms of testing speed. 5. Due to the aforementioned reasons, It is still impossible to get tested here in the us. My friend in Connecticut had symptoms but could not get tested. She is doing okay now. 6. The president has consistently refused to use the power of the presidency to compel companies to make ventilators and medical supplies. As we speak doctors in America are running dangerously low in medical supplies. If u doubt me, google am. And lastly, Of the $2Trillion stimulus plan, less than $500million goes to corona virus. The rest is meant for corporate bailout. The country needs more than a trillion to directly deal with the virus. Disaster can happen to any leader but when u combine incompetence (Trump) with a system that prioritizes cost over human lives, epic failure is bound to happen. 2 Likes 1 Share |

NextD18: Actually not true. The us healthcare system is not as great as you think it is. They have the doctors, hospital and technology but the cost of healthcare in the us is the most expensive in the world. I’ve been living here for more than 5years and I can tell u that the average american is afraid of seeing a doctor because of the cost. This corona virus only shows how ineffective the american system is. 1 Like |

Politics / Trump Administration Plans To Expand Travel Restrictions To Nigeria by DanjaNinja(m): 12:55am On Jan 22, 2020 |
WASHINGTON—The Trump administration plans to add to the number of countries covered under its travel restrictions, including Nigeria, Africa’s most populous country, along with others in Africa and Asia, according to administration officials who have seen the list. The administration plans to place visa restrictions limits on travelers from seven new countries: Belarus, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Nigeria, Sudan and Tanzania. The countries wouldn’t all face blanket bans on travel to the U.S., but could have restrictions placed on specific types of visas, such as business or visitor visas, administration officials said. The officials said the list isn’t final. The names of the seven countries was first reported by Politico. The administration plans to roll out its expanded travel restrictions on Monday, marking the three-year anniversary of the initial travel ban Mr. Trump signed on his seventh day in office. The administration has said its policy restricting travel is necessary to prevent potential acts of terrorism, as countries on the list don’t adequately vet their travelers to the U.S. Its first order, which banned travel to the U.S. by most residents of seven majority-Muslim countries, was struck down by a federal court and withdrawn. A second iteration of the ban, issued in March 2017, was also struck down by a federal judge who said it still amounted to religious discrimination against Muslims. A third version of the travel ban, issued in September 2017, was upheld by the Supreme Court in a 5-4 ruling in June 2018 on the grounds that federal law gives the president broad authority to suspend entry to the U.S. That current restrictions blocked travel by individuals from Iran, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Yemen and North Korea and by political officials from Venezuela. The administration briefly included Chad on the ban list, but removed the country in April 2018. Unlike the initial list, most of the new countries don’t have majority-Muslim populations. Several of them, however, have had relatively high rates of their citizens overstaying visas in the U.S., according to Department of Homeland Security data. In the 2018 fiscal year, 24% of Eritreans on business or visitor visas overstayed their permits, along with 15% of Nigerians and 12% of people from Sudan. Those compared with a total overstay rate in the category of 1.9%. source: https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-administration-plans-to-add-seven-countries-to-travel-ban-list-11579638341?mod=hp_lead_pos4 |
