...And God did it for me.I'm free from IELTS after 5 attempts.LRWS: 8.57.577.5(MOD IDP November 1st). My first 2 trials were with BC while the last 3 were with MOD IDP.I really thank God as I consider this a breakthrough. Thanks to @glitteringstar2 @bimsebony and @hykin for your words of encouragement and motivation.I met you all here, but the relationship has gone beyond this forum. I thank God and I'm forever grateful for His mercies and grace. Indeed, IELTS can humble anyone . |

nanaghano: Finally ielts has freed my spouse after 3 attempts LRWS Nov 1 BC 8 8 7.5 8.5. His two previous attempts were 10th February BC 6.5 6.5 7 8 and 25 march BC 7 6.5 7 7.5. I have been on this process since march trying to max out my ielts to 441 because I have a bsc and he has a masters degree so it has been a rollercoaster. I wrote 4 times trying to max out. 6 January 2018 LRWS BC 8.5 7.5 7 8.0 May MOD LRWS 8 7.5 6 7didn't bother getting my TRF July BC LRWS 8.5 7.5 7 7 01 Nov LRWS 8.5 9 6.5 7. We have spent close to 600k for everything including hotel bills and transportation for the exams. It has been a frustrating couple of months. I remember back in march telling my hubby that by December we would have been in Canada, not knowing what ielts had in store for my hubby. This whole journey has really taught me patience and perseverance,I won't lie. I just updated his profile and he is meant to be on 449 but it's showing 464 saying 15 extra CRS additional points for French / bilingualism, and I have checked through over and over didn't fill anything pertaining to knowledge of French language. Pls is this a glitch from the system and is anyone experiencing the same thing. I just experienced this too. My results are out and I aced it. I tried updating my profile; instead of 455 ,I got 470 as a result of an extra 15 marks from French proficiency. I have checked to ensure I didn't answer yes to the French question. |

GlitteringStar: Terry Fox: Terrance Stanley "Terry" Fox (July 28, 1958 – June 28, 1981) was a Canadian athlete, humanitarian, and cancer research activist. In 1980, with one leg having been amputated due to cancer, he embarked on an east to west cross-Canada run to raise money and awareness for cancer research. Although the spread of his cancer eventually forced him to end his quest after 143 days and 5,373 kilometres (3,339 mi), and ultimately cost him his life, his efforts resulted in a lasting, worldwide legacy (Source). Good work Sis, keep it up! |

radec: It only gives more point than "two or more certificates" if its a masters degree or professional degree in a needed licensed practice; but as mentioned earlier, if its Masters in a non-required licensed profession (physics or MBA) its simply a "two or more certificates" point. Wrong information . Pls guys read up o!The points for Masters surpass those of 2 or more certificates. |

Utonne: I asked a legitimate question i have a challenge with. You can choose to ignore and say nothing at all. “Una don start the week like this means what exactly?” My question is totally different from the other poster. You dont have to be condescending with your response. It costs you absolutely nothing to be courteous. Thank you for the suggestion of the scanner app He is not condescending in any way, this thread is becoming very tiring to read with several repeated questions. Your question has been addressed on several occasions on the thread. He expects that you should have studied page one of the thread.Pls let's keep this thread tidy!No offence meant! |

Ifeoma77: This kinda reminds me of the story of the hungry man who bought a donut to quench his hunger, after eating it, he was still hungry so he buys another ... and another. Finally the 4th time, he decides to buy buns and after eating this, he feels full. He then starts wondering why he didn't just buy buns the first time and save himself the money he wasted on 3 donuts.
I'm not discounting the fact that the paid version must have been a lot more helpful than the free version of Liz's tips. I'm just saying, give your spouse some credit, perhaps she learnt from the experience of the first four exams. It's possible she practiced harder, studied like crazy, stopped taking the writing module for granted, improved her handwriting and writing speed, learnt to meet up with word count, brushed up her spellings and punctuations, etc.
I'm sure the buns helped but don't forget the donuts This is a beautiful analysis!Experience is surely the best teacher. |
