It is now I understand what being strict does, it makes you live a life of pretence, cos when I got into University I wanted to explore everything  I didn’t have the chance of doing at home.

I drank alcohol like crazy, smoked weed, hung out with rich boys, partying, doing drugs but when I go visit my Parents, I still act like that innocent girl they have always known.

My Dad’s strictness led to my Pretence, if he had drawn me close like my mum did, I would have been a better kid.

When parents use strictness to shut down a kids curiosity instead of guiding them, you are making matters worse for that kid. Because eventually that curiosity will lead them into adventures and exploring all those things you refused them to..

Looking back, al the flogging I received from my dad only made me more stubborn and ruthless.

Nothing really changed? Until my mum made me change for good.

Parents need to use wisdom not force..

While there might be a few errors here and there majorly due to translating from one language to the other and a few due to changes in meaning of words overtime yet the Bible remains true.[b][/b]

There is a difference between something not made properly and something not being created. When you see a product badly manufactured it doesn't mean the product wasn't manufactured. The fact that there are "imperfections" like cancers and typhoons still doesn't mean a creator doesn't exist. It is better to believe that the creator is imperfect than believing creation just happened by chance. The number of perfectly made things still vastly exceed the number of imperfectly made things. Cancers and typoons are things that happen very less frequently like 1% of the time. If the remaining 99% were still made perfectly fine then there is no way it can happen by chance. If it were by chance the ratio of perfect and imperfection would have been 50 - 50. Even things that are "imperfect" still has intelligence written all over it.

I know you have once called somebody an intelligent person regardless of the mistakes he has made in the past. If you have called somebody intelligent then you have already admitted there is intelligence in creation.

The things that we see and feel can be explained. We have seen and studied creation in the universe and the conclusion of many is that these things are very complex, organised and intelligently made to occur by chance. Since we didn't create them then something else must have made them. Now switching over our attention to what intelligently created the things we see, since we cannot see it it means it is beyond our observable scope. So there is no point asking what created something that is not even within our power of understanding and scope of observation. We just know it is there because the handwork is very obvious.

His declaration revealed to the world papal knowledge of the Vatican's false presentation of Jesus Christ and unashamedly exposed the puerile nature of the Christian religion. At a lavish Good Friday banquet in the Vatican in 1514, and in the company of "seven intimates" (Annales Ecclesiastici, Caesar Baronius, Folio Antwerp, 1597, tome 14), Leo made an amazing announcement that the Church has since tried hard to invalidate.



Raising a chalice of wine into the air, Pope Leo toasted:

"How well we know what a profitable superstition this fable of Christ has been for us and our predecessors."



The pope's pronouncement is recorded in the diaries and records of both Pietro Cardinal Bembo (Letters and Comments on Pope Leo X, 1842 reprint) and Paolo Cardinal Giovio (De Vita Leonis Decimi, , op. cit.), two associates who were witnesses to it.


Caesar (Cardinal) Baronius (1538-1607) was Vatican librarian for seven years and wrote a 12-volume history of the Church, known as Annales Ecclesiastici. He was the Church's most outstanding historian (Catholic Encyclopedia, New Edition, 1976, ii, p. 105) and his records provide vital inside information for anybody studying the rich depth of falsification in Christianity.



Cardinal Baronius, who turned down two offers to become pope in 1605, added the following comments about Pope Leo's declaration:

"The Pontiff has been accused of atheism, for he denied God and called Christ, in front of cardinals Pietro Bembo, Jovius and Iacopo Sadoleto and other intimates, 'a fable' ,  it must be corrected".

In an early edition of the Catholic Encyclopedia (Pecci ed., iii, pp. 312-314, passim), the Church devoted two-and-half pages in an attempt to nullify the most destructive statement ever made by the head of Christianity. It based the essence of its argument on the assumption that what the pope meant by "profitable" was "gainful", and "fable" was intended to mean "tradition".



Hence, confused Catholic theologians argued that what the pope really meant was,

"How well Christians have gained from this wonderful tradition of Christ".

But that isn't what he said.


It is from Christianity's own records that Pope Leo's statement became known to the world. In his diaries, Cardinal Bembo, the Pope's secretary for seven years, added that Leo:

", was known to disbelieve Christianity itself. He advanced contrary to the faith and that in condemning the Gospel, therefore he must be a heretic; he was guilty of sodomy with his chamberlains; was addicted to pleasure, luxury, idleness, ambition, unchastity and sensuality; and spent his whole days in the company of musicians and buffoons. His Infallibility's drunkenness was proverbial, he practiced incontinency as well as inebriation, and the effects of his crimes shattered the people's constitution."

It was through the catholics other organizations were found e.g the protestant. The reason most people don't understand the bible is because of the translator translated it in his original language.
