There is inside info , he was kidnapped from his house not on duty... Its a normal thing in my state Taraba, they even go as far as kidnapping DPOs , mostly those ones fighting them...same in Katsina state.


If it's a pure kidnapped, they would collect their millions and give him a stern warning , then release him... But if you have been a security agent that has been fighting them, most times they collect money and still kill....In Katsina even the emirs of some committee are scared of giving vital info about the bandits to the police, same to Zamfara ....some security operatives and emirs are working with these bandits ... Last month , 18 soldiers and their commandant were killed in Katsina on ambushed... Up till now nobody knows who leak the info to bandits , that soldiers and coming to their hideout.
