Jenny, I accept all the blame on this issue. it's all my fault, if only I have the type of sense I have now when I married him maybe I won't find myself in this condition. we met when I went to stay with my aunt for holiday and it happened that they were staying in the same compound. when i met him and his kids, his only son that happened to be the last fell in love with me, he was such a young loving boy. prior to that I had one guy I was dating which later impregnated another girl. my husband is a very nice man and then been my first man and the fact that I felt if I don't marry him the boy will suffer. I decided to go ahead. we have our differences and even sometimes I feel like leaving him to start my life all over again but i don't have the courage. somebody said earlier that I married him because of his money, that's not true because he is just a civil servant.  The question of why did I marry him, I will say I married him because I feel I have very strong love for him and the children and if I leave those lovely kids, another woman might maltreat them. Then I thought that's alone is enough reason to marry, now I know better.
You have allowed some ignorant comments to get to you! Do not let other people bring you down, some people are very miserable and are looking to make other lives as miserable as theirs. Do not allow it!

At some point in life we all face difficulties and challenges! Its not the end of the world, there are some who lose an entire family in a swoop! There are mothers in their late years that lose all their kids in one accident!

The point is not to make you feel good about their sad situations, but to make you appreciate that your situation is still redeemable !
My sweet lady, you have life therefore you have hope! Look at my post above, first person that I thought of when I saw the news was you! If a mere guy like me can remember you, how else will God forget you!

If it's about money for the treatment, miracles do happen and keep your hope alive as long as you are breathing. Read motivational material, go on youtube and watch inspirational videos. Surround yourself with positivity and most importantly love your Step-children with all your heart.

With Love.

@all thanks. Jenny, my doctor told me that the sickness that leads to him having low Fluid count might have started after he had the children, that was the reason for the test in the first instance. The problem is not with the children as they are very wonderful and can't even do without me. I really love them and I have never treated them like my step children but I still want to have my own children.
Awww, these are maternal instinctive feelings! Nothing wrong in having them.

Thats why the babymamas continue to breed things that are more close to animals than humans prone to violence because they have no fathers or good examples in their life.
Lol, that got me laughing hard! Now you are making me feel awkward for quoting such a beautiful line!

Seriously, the purpose of the UK law system is to act as a safeguarding mechanism against a history of women abuse. Honestly, the motives are genuine and responsible. However, just like any other policy, there will be some that will not benefit from such laws. Numerous hardworking Men have been negatively affected by such in ways that have relegated them to mental asylums.

An unfaithful wife with children for instance, have all the odds in her favour, to keep the house and the children ,with some change as well (with the woman bringing lovers to the same house). Cases like this is what I  believe sagamite and co are crying foul for! There seems to be no recourse for the jilted man who might have reached an agreement with his then wife to be a stay at home mom for the benefit of 'their' kids.

Domestic disputes are very complicated and requires a lot of emotionality. I subscribe to the law forcing the father pay money towards the children, and if it means the man paying for the rent his children are living in, its  fair. What is not fair is when the court dont put into considerations the earning capabilities of the man.

Whichever the case, the system is a lot better than 9ger where men have their ways and subject loads of women and kids to years of hardship. We all know this happen. As with the uk law, a lot of insincere women have abused the mechansim created to support them but what can men do? Nothing! but hope to be with a conscientious and respectable woman who will keep her dignity even when it all falls down.

In short, these laws are meant to safeguard against irresponsible men, unfortunately some responsible men have been caught
in-between.

However, there is no way on earth you can convince me that poor and sick innocent children are made to be in that way just because of a sin thousands of years ago that they know nothing about. It's madness!

A lot of factors contribute to poverty and disease. Bad governance, corruption, geography amongst all other things. Funny how you replaced those factors with the 'sins of the fathers' syndrome!

At 20 this boy will probably live with you for the next 5 or so years before he gets married himself.

You have a choice; you can live like cat and mouse and gradually go mad from constant strife and erode your marriage or you can do what I do and that is to befried all my husbands aburos. I am so friendly with them that they will feel uncomfortable doing any wrong. Of course they are decent people to start with. They all have nicknames and I joke, play and tease them a lot and I tell you that they all more than happy to do things and bend backwards for me.

They tell me things that they wouldnt even tell their brother and I also seriously advise them. They are like my own brothers. They are not going anywhere so I have a choice on whether to embrace them and we live in peace and see them as welcome additions or I push them away and the day I need them they are not there for me too.

No one is perfect and there will be a few people that will drive you to distraction, but I came to understand that they are family ad they are going no where just as a few people in my family probably drive my own husband cray too  grin

Please be wise. Whatever you sow in the early years of your marriage will be reaped later on.

I know of a girl in your situation whose husband was living with 3 kid siblings and she was married into the house. She took the "I am the wife and oga in this house" stance and the marriage broke up within 11 months. She was the one who moved out last last. The siblings and the husband have all remarried and living their lives while she is still looking for Mr Right all these years later.

However frivolous her complaints are, it is still her marital home and every visitor ought to treat it as such.

And yes, you can have spoilt '20 year olds' behaving in that way with a strong sense of entitlement, after all, 'its my brother's house'.

However, to be fair, one has to hear the other side of the story to judge accordingly.

It is possible to 'hate' someone just like that. It  may be as a result of an outside influence i.e mother-inlaw.

More reason you should not talk about people in front of 'kids'

Those poor sickly children in ethiopia are recieving judgement for their past sins. the ethiopians are the ancient babylonians and nebucadnezzer was one of their kings. they had the israelites in slavery for 70 years and were very cruel to them. those children house spirits that are thousands of years old. just cuz you are a 5 year old child does not mean your spirit is 5 years old. spirits are recycled into new bodies every 3rd or 4th generation. john 9 vs 1-3.
Ah!!

Well, at least we know where the sufferings of the 'poor' Ethiopian children comes from! Erm, what about the poor children in Afghanistan and Brazil? Those in china and Russia? What did their fore-fathers do?

How about the 'rich' Ethiopians? How come their spirits were not partakers in cruelty? Poverty is now a resultant or should I say dependent on what our past spirits have done? The present poor children actually have no say in their destiny.

Double WOW!!! I can only hope my past spirits have not being naughty, all my hard-work will just be fruitless!
