Good afternoon Nairalanders, I am here seeking for the best advice on how best to handle this situation.

My friend J has a girlfriend named B.

They have been through thick and thin throughout my stay with them in the city we live, it was not a smooth relationship though but they manage to tolerate each other non the less.

They never got married officially but she had a baby boy for my guy who is 3 years old now, the guys family do not like this girl because they believe her presence in their son's life is why he has not been making any serious progress in life.

My guy has stood beside this girl even when she insults his mum or family member, they both live in the family house, she do travel once in a while to see her family.

Anytime she is away my friend becomes depressed and frustrated thereby indulging in excessive drinking of alcohol.

Early this year he was diagnosed with liver problems which made him to stop drinking for some months, immediately he recovered he resumed the habit again.

On the 14th of September she came visiting again after his much pleading, we went to the park to pay her Tfare.

We came back home together and I left them to my because it was already 11pm.

The next morning his mother called me that he is not feeling fine, after much medication he was moved to a general hospital where he started vomiting blood and stooling blood at the same time, he gave up the ghost around 10am.

It 3 weeks since he has been buried the family has ignored the girl and took the son to another city where she can't see her child.

Just yesterday she called me that she is pregnant. I was confused and angry at the same time. she has attempted abortion and it failed, I have advised her to leave it but the circumstances surrounding her is not helping.

Please elders in the house I need your contributions.

Hello guys its been a while I posted here. I'm back with another update.

I have this business partner helping me out in real estate. She is a smart young lady, very pretty and tech savvy. Everyone has their bad habits, so does my business partner. She smokes like a chimney.

I really have no qualms about her living her life the way she wants.

So today I was with her around 11am after church service discussing about our next line of action when she received a call from her dope dealer to come for his child's naming ceremony. She begged me to follow her there and I obliged.

We took bolt and arrived there in less than 40 minutes. Guys, come and see people smoking their lives out. I felt so awkward in their midst. The young lady quickly got that paper and started wrapping her own dope, brought a seat for me and I sat.

One thing I found quite amusing was that this guy in question did not know me b4, but he was so welcoming and free. I was baffled cos I could have been a police officer, but he didn't care.

They offered me some smoke which I declined, they offered me some Spirit, and I also declined. People started raising eye brows, so the lady came to me and told me to accept something or I might be sending the wrong signals.

I finally opted for a bottle of hero. Soon a plate of porridge plantain was before me. Mehn I was salivating at the aroma. There was fish, snail, pere winkle, etc. Finally something I could accept whole heartedly.

I jumped on the plate of food like I had not eaten for days. Little did I know that I was setting myself up for a laugh.

Guys, the food was drugged and I did not know. After finishing the food, I couldn't stand again.
