osazsky: Osazsky, may God bless you a million times for your answer. Na the guy suppose gather sense with his faulty analogy. As a digression, even The Gambia is no more 'The Islamic Republic of The Gambia' but rather 'The Republic of The Gambia'. The new president sharply change the official name before Donald Trump change mind. |

Rossikki: The attacks on mosques in the US is a response to similar actions in the Middle East, which the Quran allows. That is the Golden Rule, which says, 'Do unto others how you want them to do to you' (Aheb li akheek ma tuhibu li nafsik) In addition, you mentioned Pakistan and this link is an evidence. It happened in March 2016. http://edition.cnn.com/2016/03/27/asia/pakistan-lahore-deadly-blast/ |

First, why should the US allow Muslim refugees to come into their country when their fellow Muslim countries do not want them? That seems suspicious. Secondly, those that are usually sponsored by UAE, Saudi Arabia and the other rich Islamic countries to ferment trouble are mostly from these 7 countries. In addition, most radical Islamic training camps are found in these countries and there has been no semblance of support from their governments to the US in stopping these radical elements. Third, what is stopping the rich Islamic countries to assist the Muslim refugees and even commence immigration programmes for people (most especially Muslims) just like the countries in the West are doing? Is it a must to go to the US? 2 Likes |

Dear VO, Please I applied for my US visa Renewal along with my wife and daughter, via the dropbox at the same time. The USA Embassy returned only the passports of my wife and daughter with US visas after 3 working days. Mine is yet to be returned. What could be the reason for keeping mine? Thanks for your usual cooperation. Regards, |
Properties / Re: "Lekki Gardens Estate" How Genuine Is It? by DaRocha: 3:49pm On Feb 12, 2016 |
Please who are the members of the Management Team of 4T Technologies Limited? 4T Technologies Limited is the Power Management Representative of Lekki Gardens Estate Limited. When I visited their website, this is what I found when tried to view their Management Team. Obviously, they have something up their sleeves. They do not want people (possibly subscribers) to know the Management Team. I just hope all is well. I would like to know if 4T Technologies Limited has a relationship with Eko Electricity Distribution Company. The Management of Eko Electricity Distribution Company should please take note.

CAVEAT EMPTOR on VETASSESS - Internal Auditor Occupation (ANZSCO code 221214)!!!! Please if you are a Nigerian Chartered Accountant, with Internal Audit experience, and with ICAN qualification ONLY, PLEASE DO NOT GO NEAR VETASSESS for skilled migrant assessment for the Internal Auditor Occupation. It will be a waste of money. ICAN is NOT recognised by VETASSESS and the resson for this is that ICAN is not recognised by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC) as an institution of academic education. Until then, please stay away from the Internal Auditor occupation/VETASSESS and save your forex. With ACCA qualification, ensure you have some years of working experience (after the ACCA qualification is obtained) before applying to VETASSESS for the assessment for the Internal Auditor occupation. I repeat, (after the ACCA qualification is obtained). The above-information is based on my personal experience with VETASSESS and enquiries made from Australian Immigration Advisors (former immigrants) with accountancy qualification. I have also made enquiries at CPA (Australia), Institute of Charterted Accountants of Australia & New Zealand and Institute of Practising Accountants of Australia (IPAA) on whether they recognise ICAN qualification for skilled migration purposes. I am yet to receive any response from them. When I do, their responses will be posted here for guidance. Please you are all free to provide any authentic information that is contrary to this, preferably based on personal experience. Thank you 1 Like |

ferdimako: Please I have gotten my outcome and it was NEGATIVE. I was assessed for the job of Internal Auditor (ANZSCO 221214). I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAN) and my first degree was in Engineering. I worked in an audit firm as an audit trainee before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. After I qualified, I moved to a bank as an Internal Auditor, of which I still working. I have, however, written back to VETASSESS to complain about the NEGATIVE outcome. However, what caught me my attention (the most) from the report is the statement below. Membership Certificate completed in xxxx at The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, LAGOS, Nigeria cannot be recognised by VETASSESS as: At the time of award the awarding institute and/or the qualification was not recognised by the relevant authorities in the country of award Field of study Accountancy is highly relevant. In addition, they claimed that my work experience in the Audit firm and the bank as an Internal Auditor 'does not meet the minimum requirements for this occupation as the employment does not follow a qualification at the required level in a highly relevant field'. My question is this - IS ICAN NOT RECOGNIZED BY VETASSESS? PLEASE WHAT IS THE BEST WAY FORWARD? |

Please my Vetassess application status is showing 'completed'. However, I'm yet to receive an email from Vetassess on whether the assessment was positive or negative. Please how long do I need to wait for before I receive an email from Vetassess? Someone please assist. Thanks. |

solomonwis: Thanks Solomonwis. Apologies for the tardiness in thanking you for such valuable information. Please I have another question. I just filled my Express Entry Profile on the CIC website and there was a question on whether I had a UCI or not, since I indicated that I had submitted a FSWP application previously. My FSWP application was submitted on 30/12/2014 and I am yet to receive a UCI. Will it be wise to say I have not submitted a previous application before? I observed that when I indicated NO, the website did not ask for UCI. Please assist. |

Dear all, please now that we have submitted our applications, will CIC send us a mail acknowledging receipt? Or what will they do and when? I also observed that they are yet to update their website on whether more caps have been reached. Someone should assist. Highlyfavoured3: |

rockbase360: Stella Oduah, Nigeria’s Minister of Aviation who is embroiled in a scandal of towering proportions in the ministry, faces new integrity questions as her Masters’ degree has been challenged by the United States school which supposedly awarded it. Madam Stella has now doctored her wiki page. See below. Why can't she state the school she attended in the USA? In addition, she is no more married to Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi. They have not seen each other in years. Princess Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi (born January 5, 1962) is the Nigerian Minister of Aviation. She was confirmed to the post and sworn in on July 2, 2011.[1][2] and was deployed to the Ministry of Aviation on July 4, 2011.[3][4][5] She was also active in the political campaign of Goodluck Jonathan, the current President of Nigeria; where she served as his campaign's Director of Administration and Finance.[6] Background Princess Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi Princess Stella Oduah-Ogiemwonyi was born to Igwe D.O. Oduah of Akili-Ozizor, Ogbaru L.G.A. in Anambra State on January 5, 1962.[7] Oduah-Ogiemwonyi received her Bachelors and Masters Degree (in Accounting and Business Administration respectively) in the United States. Upon her return to Nigeria in 1983, she joined the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.[8] In 1992, she left the NNPC to establish the Sea Petroleum & Gas Company Limited (SPG), an independent marketer of petroleum products in Nigeria.[9] She is married to the former Minister for Works, Engr. Chris Ogiemwonyi[8] and has children. |

homesteady: Homesteady, please this story is not complete. You did not start from the beginning. Kindly see below. Some aggrieved members of the Ojukwu family on Wednesday challenged Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, Bianca Ojukwu, to prove to the world that the late Ikemba Nnewi, Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, was the biological father of her two sons – Afamefuna and Nwachukwu. The family members, in a 19-paragraph statement of defence before a Lagos High Court sitting in Igbosere, also challenged Bianca to prove, if she has any, that she was legally married to the late Ojukwu. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/10/ojukwu-not-biological-father-of-biancas-children-family-tells-court/ |
Politics / Re: Ex-militant Tompolo Buys A Private Jet by DaRocha: 9:07am On Sep 10, 2013 |
stormm: I have always said that 'the problem of the Niger-Delta is the people of the Niger-Delta themselves'. Fine GEJ got Tompolo the contract that he used to amass a lot of wealth but let us ask Tompolo, "Why didn't he use his ill-gotten money to put in place infrastructure in the Niger-Delta?". How many things worthy of mention can we point to that he has used the money for? I thought he once said that he was fighting for the emancipation of the Niger-Delta. Is this the emancipation he's been referring to all this while? I cry for the Niger-Delta because one day, that oil and gas that the Niger-Delta so depend on, will finish and they would regret their actions greatly. It is not a curse but reality. 1 Like |

Sports / Re: Enyeama Dropped Because Of Confederations Cup Blunder by DaRocha: 9:34am On Jul 19, 2013 |
blackmann: Some people do things without thinking sha. How was that 2nd goal the keeper's fault? Where were the defenders who were supposed to cover the keeper up? These dumb shaitheads always take one step forward and two steps backwards. No wonder our football is in shambles. Remember, Enyeama was wearing the captain's hand band during the Confederations' Cup. He should have controlled his defence. In addition, Enyeama was more experienced than all the defenders on the pitch that day. Enyeama joined and started playing for the Super Eagles in 2002 and has played in two FIFA World Cup tournaments. He has also won the CAF Champions League on two occasions. When did Oboabona, Omeruo, Echiejile and Efe Ambrose join the Super Eagles? What have they achieved compared to Enyeama. All these players joined Super Eagles starting from 2009. The closest player to Forlan, when that goal was scored, was Omeruo who started playing for Super Eagles only in 2013! I blame Enyeama for the blunder! |

Whatever happened to the juju that she was made to swear to before she left Nigeria. Doesn't the juju offer protection? I won't be surprised if the ladies are weeping because of the money they've now lost. |
