I have critically observe how you favour one tribe against the other forgetting that they all are guity as charged. I put it to you that you are tribal bigot too.Even Mosquitos and ants knows that he is a professional bigot.. He is guilty of 79.99% of tribal war going on in this forum by a way of selective justice. Thanks to Alla that majority NL has discovered this impunity going on for long. Enugu PDP sweeps LG chairmanship polls November 3, 2013 • By Our Reporter From CHIDI NNADI and PETRUS OBI, Enugu All the chairmanship candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 17 local government areas of Enugu State were yesterday confirmed winners through an affirmative vote. Voters had the option of voting “Yes” or “No” for the PDP chairmanship candidates who, by virtue of the disqualification of candidates of other parties became the sole candidates for the election. Although the polls were marred by low turn out of voters in some of the polling units in the Enugu metropolis, it was a different thing at the rural areas where voters, including aged men and women turned out in their numbers. Reports from all the local government areas in the state, except Isi-Uzo, showed that the polls were peaceful, though accreditation of voters took off about two hours behind schedule owing to late arrival of materials. At Akpugo Ward in Nkanu-East Local Government Area, where Mrs. Ifeoma Nwobodo, the Chief of Staff to Governor Sullivan Chime voted, there was a large turnout of voters. Nwobodo told journalists after casting her vote that the people of the area had absolute confidence in the PDP-led government in the state. She said the non-participation of opposition parties in the election was a clear indication that the PDP was in total control of the state. Meanwhile, as anticipated, the polls witnessed complaints at Isi-Uzo Local Government Area, one of the few areas in the state where APGA fielded some councillorship candidates. At Ikem Umuaram polling centre, an APGA agent, who gave his name as Monday, alleged that the security agents, ENSIEC and PDP stalwarts ordered him to disappear from the scene or get hurt. He further alleged that some suspected PDP members collected electoral materials, got into a Mercedes Benz car and zoomed off. Monday said he promptly made a call to an FRCN live phone-in programme monitoring the election, to report the incident. Isaac Agbo, an APGA polling agent at Amudamu Ikem Ward 2 polling centre alleged that a PDP member forced him out of the polling unit. At Eha-Amufu Ward 3, the APGA chairman in the local government, Mr Benjamin Edeh said the PDP came with the army and carted away electoral materials. Also, the APGA chairmanship candidate, Godson Ogenyi alleged that no election took place at Eha-Amufu. Commenting on the conduct of the polls, Governor Sullivan Chime and the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Mr Vita Abba, expressed satisfaction over the local government election, saying it was successful and peaceful. Chime spoke at the Premier School Udi in Udi Council Area while Abba spoke at the Community Primary School, Ede Oball in Nsukka LG after the duo voted. The governor noted that the conduct of the local government elections marked yet another milestone in the quest of the state to entrench democracy and good governance at the grassroots. |

When Nuhu Ribadu was demoted to sum ranks below in the police force because he got promoted illegally, nobody said dat its a tribal war. WHY IS STELLA ODUAH OWN NW DIFFERENT EEH? Me against the force of darkness. with vigour by the entrenched interests that have been ripping off the nation. We have had to put our foot down in the national interest and stopped the rape of our national patrimony. We have had to confront frontally very powerful forces that have held the sector hostage. My team and I are not people who will see things going very wrong, fold our arms and complain and not lift a finger to do anything. We dared to act, convinced that it was in the national interest to do so. “The second category of my traducers are the entrenched interests in the aviation sector who, for over 38 years have held the sector by the jugular and refused to allow any meaningful development and change take place. For the over 38 years that our airports were a damning commentary on our status as part of the civilized world; or when our airspace existed without the requisite Quote~ odual[/b] |
