I understand u guys sayin Jon isn't really doing anything, but Ese..? Come on guys... I think people should cut d 2 fake HMs some slack. I think they ar doing it correctly. If Ese becomes more annoying or plays her role a little bit more over d top, i bet u their cover will be blown. d HMs will wonder & begin to speculate that they must be on some kind of mission. The FMBN needs total cleansing. Thru wickedness & corruption & in what is clearly a negation of d NHF act, d FMBN has made it their policy that contributors can not be refunded unless they ar 60 yrs old & hav served for 35 yrs. That is simply not true. It is a lie. The NHF Act No. 3 of 1992 provides that refund shall be made to a contributor who because of retirement frm employment & incapability to continue contributing, shall be refunded his money. This wicked people make it appear as if incase u can no longer contribute after turning 40 or serving for 15yrs, u hav to wait for d next 20 yrs b4 u can claim ur contribution. That's a wicked lie which d NHF act does not support. A refund that is statutorily expected to take just two weeks takes years & those who ar fortunate enough to get theirs hav to wait until they turn 60 yrs or serve for 35 yrs. Smh, it's simply outrageous. The FMBN must not be allowed to keep defrauding fellow Nigerians. |

Igolasko: I Mr Awodunmila Solomon Oludeinde cry out to concern agencies and the public for redress by refunding my housing contributed fund by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria.
I am a retired teacher with Ogun State Teaching Service Commission. It was mandatory for all Government workers in the State to participate in the scheme in its conception in the State. I retired in 2012 December. Refunds is done after retirement of 35yrs of service or attainment of 60yrs of age after service. The later applied to me in 2013. I finished all necessary process in 2014 for the refund of my contribution. After several visits, risk taking and a lot of money spent on transportation to find out the delay for the refund, on 14th June 2016 the officer at the Ogun State branch Mr Ogunsola shocked my imagination when he looked into his file and told me that the money had been paid into my account number 1000392948 UBA Plc Ijebuode on October 2015 . I told him nothing of such in my account.
He requested for the statement of my account from October 2015 to May 2016. which I made available for him through my bank. He was convinced I have not been paid when he went through the statement provided. He asked me to write (picture attached) a letter addressed to the state Office at Abeokuta which I did with the statement of my account.
When nothing was done I was forced to write The Controller General in Abuja which I sent through a courier service (FedEx) to Abuja (picture evidence attached). Till now no reply and no payment.
On October 2016 again when I visited this officer he told me to get him my three months statement of account from August to October with the BVN printout from my bank for reprocessing again which I did. It was then I discovered we are about 50 affected by this fraud. Whereas others that processed theirs later had been paid. Please help me find out whose account my money was paid into. They should refund my money to me. It is my sweat and no one should deprive me of this. Not even in this present dispensation when our President has zero tolerance for corruption. Should aged senior citizen even be defrauded? Melt my tears and relieve me from the agony am passing through by refunding my money. May we live to eat the fruits of our labour. FMBN is undoubtedly one of d most corrupt govt agencies. My Uncle was a compulsory contributor until he retired in NITEL in 2007. Two years ago, after fulfilling all criteria for a refund, he applied for a refund of his savings & has still not gotten it till date. He continues to monitor it, but still nothing. It took FMBN FCT office, a whole year just to update his participation passbook. FMBN is a scam of monumental proportions. Many of my uncle's NITEL friends are now deceased & their savings lost forever. If they are waiting 4 my Uncle's benefits to fall into that category, it will not be my Uncle's portion, IJN. If dis govt cares about corruption, FMBN is a very good place to look. |

Mendelssohn: Well.... The thing is, most of the fast fingers here can't see beyond their noses, hence the rush to type some inconsequential balderdash. Yes, APC is going through some quagmire but that's not alien to normal developments in party politics. Most of them have at once, had some internal rancorous ruptures and pettifogging disputations. It doesn't really warrant the beer parlour comments like the ones of most of the posters above. The shout of Atiku 2019 shows most of them are still wallowing in self inflicted oblivion and apparent inability to upgrade from the pitiable confinement of social media babies assumption as well as commonplace analysis with mere speculative deductions. Personally, I think Tinubu should distinguish between regional politics and that of national. Whereas, he can determine the operational disposition of his stooge governors, he's most unlikely to maintain such control over the president. He can't just have it all with the conviction of having a say or determination over everything. No matter how, the likes of fashola, fayemi and many others, were appointed on his account whether directly or indirectly. At least, he brought them to national political consciousness. So if the president is still making some concessions to him, why must he want to have it all? If the president did not win the 2015 election in states like akwa-ibom, delta, ekiti, anambra and so on, remember he had substantial votes there too and some people were responsible for that and they should equally be compensated. Some people will never learn, no matter how and I pity those people who don't think or take time to study these developments but are only limited to the borrowed wisdom from fellow dunce nairalanders. I was thinking the ondo state election would be an eye opener and of course, a reason to reason beyond social media analysis and unrealistic speculative deduction but....it's just unfortunate as usual. Let mega party be formed till 2050, it doesn't stop Buhari from winning in 2019. The people who are gonna do that voting don't have the time or the exposure to join your useless Atiku or mega party social media noise. Tinubu does not expect his will to be carried out all d time, neither does he expect PMB, of all people, to be engaged in subtle attempts to diminish & crash his political influence by aligning & actively influencing dissidents against him. Can u imagine dat in d President's biography, they went to d extent of making a sinister attempt to sow discord between Tinubu & Osinbajo by distorting d true story of how Osinbajo became VP?. southpole: Those cars imported through land borders are smuggled. by d way do yo know that when you buy a car through Cotonou you are paying custom duty twice? when a Cotonou man import from Europe for instance he pays custom duty to Benin republic govt and when you buy from them into Nigeria assuming you follow the proper channel you will pay custom duty to Nigerian government that amount to paying custom duty twice except the car is smuggled into Nigeria. But when such cars are imported directly to Nigeria sea port you don't have to pay another custom duty again since the importer has paid and such cars are healthier. Smuggled cars through land bordesr do not last long before they start giving the end users problems this is because such cars are usually driven into Nigeria through very bad and rough roads on very high speed and at the end of the day the money you could have used to pay your custom duties you will even add more to fix the car if it finally arrive your place. How difficult is it 4 d Federal govt to realize dat it is better to collect smaller import/custom duty but make it up thru larger import quantity than to lose most of it to Benin republic who ar smart enough to keep their duty low & get high patronage frm Nigerians. Govt needs to be smart & cut Benin republic out of business. If Nigeria keeps d duty as it is, no law will stop importation, legal or smuggled thru Cotonou. |

Igbo tradition is where you see a 40 year old man marrying an 18 year old girl because they believe they have to get money to buy their women. They don't have single respect for their women after they married which is why an average Igbo woman that knows her self worth will go for a Yoruba man that treat them with respect and never talk to them like slaves. Let me tell you something else in Igbo tradition that you don't know, in Igboland, a woman can marry a woman, this happen when an older woman marry a young lady and allow the young lady to sleep with different men outside, hence getting pregnant by an unknown man. The woman will eventually bring this bastard home and raise him or her in the older woman household. Their are so many people in Igboland conceived through this means. But to your low life with hatred, anybody appointed from NW, NE, and NC your regard them to ne Northerners and hausa but those he appoint from SW, SS, SE you never regard them due to the problem between us..
An average Yoruba man From Southwest hate an Igbo man from SouthEast and same goes for South-south and during election we go agaunst each other but that does not happen to Northerners..
Now in Police force we have 18 AIG's and 3 from each zone but you guys will regard those from the 3 Northern regions as Hausa.

So when you are blaming Buhari about appointment always remember we have 6 zone in Nigeria and appointment comes all this zone. We have Ministers from Each states and in all ministry.. Politics › Re: Ondo Poll: APC Leaders Divided Over Tinubu’s Role by datribune: 12:24pm On Dec 03, 2016 |
SillyMods: My sincere take in all of this:
1. Tinubu obviously tokk some wrong steps. E.g, openly attacking and asking APC Chairman Oyegun to resign. No matter how powerful he is or thinks he is, that was a step taken too far and also an insult on the president who is definitely the number one leader of the party by being the president.
2. Asking Oke to decamp to AD and asking his supporters to work for him (though alleged but he never denied it; and we saw how he refused to attend the grand rally and also prevented Aregbe and Ambode from attending).
3. PMB and Oyegun have equally not done enough to accommodate Tinubu on some of his needs/demands. This is what has caused mistrusts and divisions.
To remain one party, APC MUST NOT sanction Tinubu for whatever anti-party actions he has done in the past. Doing that will surely tear APC apart, no doubt. Instead, the president should invite Tinubu, Oyegun and other aggrieved party members to a meeting, table every issue causing misunderstanding and trash them out.
Any other way outside this is the highway to total implosion. Someone had to call Oyegun out sooner or later. Oyegun tried d same stunt he pulled in Ondo in his home state of Edo where he tried to impose Chris Ogiemwonyi over d popular choice, Obaseki but didn't succeed because of d sitting Governor. dis was d reason Oyegun lost, even in his electoral ward. Provide real proof other than conjectures dat Tinubu asked Oke to decamp to AD & asked his supporters to work for him. I personally watched on TVC what d APC supporters said which was later twisted by d media. What i heard d supporters say was dat Tinubu told them to join APC in 2013 but dat wit what has happened in d primary, they don't need him to tell them now, b4 decamping. I'd wish dat d Jagaban, whose track record of performance while in & out of public office is not in any doubt, puts more distance between him and d fumbling PMB who has shown him, his true colours.
