Roland17: Instances like this, is why I advocated for competition in the goalkeeper position.
The season’s title run involves 3 teams and the margin of error is extremely slim, we can’t be conceding a goal like that. Hopefully, it is not costly and the lads can get us the W. Ben White was immense in attack tonight. Two Assists. Trossard wasn't himself tonight. I hope Nelli is okay to start Wed night. Raya will need a new taller competition soon. Glad they held the nerve, increased pressure and got that breathtaking goal. Nice run of game for Kai👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 |

That was horrendous from Ramsdale.
1-1 i love the opinion of the commentator. "That is why this kid is made to sit on the bench right there" Behaving like a kid. If anything at all, Arteta now has a final reason to sell him off with full chest and no guilt. Smh. Imagine if na last day of EPL and naso he go cause title to go elsewhere. Smh |

Omo the selection process in Nigeria is simply criminal. Ladan Bosso sincerely has no biz trying to handle the next gen of Super Eagles at any level. Not even if they're kindergarten footballers. mostob: City of those years are very dangerous. You no go know who you wan mark sef. It is baffling how they didn't go unbeaten. But now, they have kinda become predictable. They don't have the fear factor like before. Take away Rodri and Benardo from their midfield and everywhere go become expressway. Haaland no dey get connection without KDB.
Arsenal is getting there sha. Imagine the like of Jesus, Partey, Zinchenko, Tomiyasu struggling for a starting spot. I think the departure of Gundo and others contributed to a stepdown. Gundo was someone that understands pep from scratch and the system and can do and undo with the need to maintain the Pentagon shape. If you see what Stones said about him, you'll understand why his departure was missing a big chess piece. Another was teams weren't set up to match them but majorly defend. And that one is a hefty concentration test as well. So bad that every game, you were expecting 3points from them, even in UCL. Plus i saw an analysis of why they concede. They don't do well on counters. The shape suffers with runners behind. If any epl team had Mbappe for example, they'll beat City home and away. Na why Rashford no get sense. He had such chances and wasted them |

Shegzdave: Osihmen or Tooney will be perfect for our system and thank God the boys are still very young Both can play the style and still offer that brashness and aggressiveness all by themselves when things aren't working. Just that the later is less a 1v1 person outside the box. The former will chase aerial balls and make defenders coming because of 1st impressions that he's a bully. |

Jodera: Man City before Haaland was very very feared.
Lemme tell you something, take away Rodri and Kdb in this present 11. No, just take away only Kdb and let us play with our complete squad, I swear I'll be very certain of at least 1-3 points.
As long as my squad is complete, I fear no Haaland. Didn't they prove how good they are without Kdb? At least absence of Rodri affected the most so far this season than even KDB. Yeah, we are on fire right now and we'll kill their flow evidently. I usually brush off that game we played with holding in defense. I crode. But we all know that Viking is a crucial part of setup. No matter how. Infact since his arrival, opponents that gave them problems have focused more on cutting off supply chain than actual defend like Man U did. It worked. We can do both. Liverpool too. Special teams both! |

mostob: na fear factor you want abi na 3 points? You mean this current Arsenal team still don't have the fear factor? You want us to get a 9 that will give us a fear factor yet without the 9, we have a lot of fear factors not just in attack but all over the field.. Saka? Martinelli? Jesus? Trossard? Partey? We have it but this particular addition is for days where things don't click too. We can't play same forever is my angle. The instincts to drive through brickwalls will be helpful imo. |

She’s a UEFA A Coaching license holder.., Don’t know if she has upgraded to the highest level (UEFA Pro License) yet..
HER COACHING BACKGROUND INCLUDES
Manchester United FC Soccer Schools (England) New York Red Bulls (New York, USA) England u15 National Team Camps Director of the Emerging Talent Program (California, USA) Director of the Emerging Talent Program (Chicago, USA) Harlow Town FC Boys (England) Essex County Football Association (England) Club Coach (Michigan, USA) Club Coach (Connecticut, USA) Female Centres of Excellence (England) Arsenal FC Soccer Schools Development Centre (England) Co-Ordinator Chelsea FC Foundation (England) Co-Ordinator Football Talents (Shanghai, China) Men’s 1st Team Head Coach and Head of Youth, Tvoroyrar Boltfelag (Faroe Islands)

mostob: Ok..let me rephrase. 'The net lover' must be ready to do more than goal scoring if you want us to keep up with the goalfest. If all he does is just to score goals, it will affect our goal returns. Ohhh. I get your angle nowww Haba Was that your fear? The modern 9 is now a norm already now. Martinez Vlah Toney Kane Boniface Lewa Haaland Osimhen Alll are not waiting and strolling like Nketiah does sometimes. All contribute. Recall i said a 9 that will do what Haaland did offball to Man U CBs, thereby creating space for Foden and co to exploit and scatter things |

mostob: How we want take explain again o. Dave, you want us to add a traditional 9 to the team and start feeding him passes. If any 9 is coming, it won't be in the mould of Haaland. Having a top o who is only concerned about scoring will be detrimental to the team's development.
Imagine Nigeria without Osimhen during the last AFCON. Don't you think our chance of winning will drastically reduce? That's the kind of team you want us to be. A team that shift the entire focus on the striker. A team that is toothless without their talisman. We saw how this panned out when Auba was still here FFS.
One thing you should note is that you can't expect goals to be coming from every part of the pitch yet still expect the 9 you're suggesting to score 30 goals in a season. That's close to impossible. You can only choose one. The reasons why we're clamouring for another striker is because Jesus is injury proned, he is not clinical and due to his height (maybe). What you're suggesting is not feasible. See, i understand our free scoring mode. But it is like na you still wan dey downplay what such addition will do to this team(rem i put more threat in brackets?) If you bin the idea that a 9 will disrupt this flow, and rather see a sensitive and quick thinking finisher that doesn't have time to waste and loves the net, you'll not need to be afraid of such arrival. An arrival far better than Kai and Jesus and Nketiah combined is a juicy arrival that will spell fear to rivals more than now. All I've ever done is highlight what a net lover and bully will add to this team. It is inevitable and the fluidity should be imagined! Lol |

Jodera: I won't mind not having a striker as long as the goals are being spread and it won't subconsciously affect all our plays to be centred towards and around him. That's just my biggest fear Tbh.
Your points are valid tho as long as my arsenal still maintain this threat they have not just having a striker who will be banging goals while been limited in other aspects of plays No condition is permanent. That's where Barca and Spain messed up. Tiki is still a good philosophy but strikers add value still. If we want to sustain threats(mind you were are already) we need to do what the big boys do. We need someone to match Auba numbers. Heck, we've not had any match RVP sef in forever. It's what the big boys do and i know MA knows that. We'll play City soon and we are all subconscious of Haaland where he is effective that day or not, but what he can do if we slip up. That's the impression i want on other teams playing us going forward. Just recently we saw how absence of a 9 affected our Porto game. Like it is embarrassing having 0 shot on goal for a team flying in space in 2024 so far. A natural will have registered 1 or 2 shots at least. It's their instincts. We'll come good. See it as firing from all canisters or cylinders |
