Once again, we need clinical crossers of the ball in the SE. I mean crossers that sabi and have a high chance of bagging Assists in GWG. We need this badly as we need Better midfielders 😑 |

If we had trained for PK, we would have won that game. But we don move on since. Regardless, Spain should do the needful. |

codemaniacs: Salma Paralluelo is 18 years old and she has scored important goals that helped Spain qualify for the Final yet 99% of people on this thread and even the coaches of the Super Falcons look down on teenage wonder teens and young stars that could have been in the Super Falcons squad.
Gift Monday that was the youngest among the Forward players was not given enough game time... They need to wait for their time. They are not developed. They are still raw and need sharpening now 😆😆😆😆😆 Who else saw the recent comments by two of the greatest EPL coaches in the last 3weeks about young talents? SAF and Le Prof!!! Give them that chance, they'll be ever grateful for it as their minds work totally different from the senior ones. They want to keep proving and rewarding those that give them a chance even if they still have a long way to go. I guess some folks will be scared if one day, the average real age of npfl players in the league is like 24.5yrs. Till then. What many are not noticing is we will see it working with even those that are not as talented, and now be among the last to implement with our tails between our legs. |

Jodera: You see that outside the box Curler/shot Saka scored, that's the thing I'm expecting from Martinelli to be good at. Honestly if they tell me 2yrs ago that Saka will be more proficient than Martinelli in outside the box shots, I would have doubted.
We need Martinelli to be proficient in it too. It's another good way of scoring goals against teams that park the bus especially as we'll be encountering them more this season Nelli needs to be called to the Tactic room and shown some clips of Sanchez so he can start doing the LHS kind of goals similar to that. Almost everyone that he faces already anticipate he cutting back to the left foot so they block the right so as to react better to the switch. That's why i like Trossard for such shots. Barely off target. |

Jodera: But Tomi is still makeshift at left back na
Honestly, I no dey feel Tomi for leftback. The only person who I'm comfortable to play Lb who isn't left footed is Timber and it's so sad he's gone on lengthy injury.
Well, it also seems you've forgotten Zinny (or maybe you intentionally left his name out).
Well, it's back to Zinny and I'm glad. I really miss that boy ball I deliberately left him out cos na him get position Normally. My fear is that left side now, as Kai is there, how does the zinny style now work. Without zinny, we are seeing how Nelli and kai are confusing each other. Imo, the format we used last season for epl should be used for the ucl group stage. The draws are month end i believe. |

yinkeys: Super Falcons can get an Olympic medal if NFF put their acts right & support the team totally Those one never plan to do better than a previous approach. To even match the level of prep of a previous outing is so alien to them. Prepare with 5.0 Next prep will be 2.5 or 3. If e reach 4.5 na blessing. To sustain na palava. I hope that outing will not be marred with brouhaha. Cos i can scent it and we know who will do funny stuff already. Pessimistic just cos of NFF |

Curtisaxel10: Do they even deserve a welcome back party? They didn't even equal our best record at the WC talk more of breaking it.
They deserve to be praised, yes. But welcome party is undeserved if you ask me. Guy, for leaving unbeaten is no ordinary feat. I didn't even expect anything from them prior to the first game because of the brouhaha going on btw Employee and employer, and that atmosphere of unseriousness as regards our preparation. That's one of the things i always say. The way they ended this tournament now, those ones in NFF would begin to feel that they pulled the strings to actualize such feat. They are repping us and deserve some form of welcoming not this mecenary kind of dispersal. Plus even the one RAT organized, only 3 Senior Women attended again. So disorganized!! This is the exchange between Obi and Gusau. (The interview transcription is done by me):
Mitchell Obi: Is there any attempt to settle the outstanding bonuses and allowances to the Super Falcons players? And what is even the outstanding?
Ibrahim Gusau: Well, you see, people are just trying to be going up and down with this issue. Their outstandings have been for more than two years. Now, you can ask yourself, why didn’t they talk about it until when they got to Australia? If you have an outstanding for over two years, is that the time that you create distraction for yourself? A lot of people are doing a lot of things to cause distractions to the team. We are at a point when people need to be putting encouraging words to these girls, so that, at least, they will have confidence to build up. But so many people are trying to instigate so many things, in order to divert their attention in order to create a lot of distraction. But we thank God, at least, at the end of the day, they were able to keep everything behind and they focussed on why they were there. They had one of the best performances of the tournament…The outstanding they are talking about, most of them are friendly matches and some of the qualifying matches, which goes back to almost three years. But as I have said, we are ready to pay them their money. Even if FIFA gives you money, FIFA they are very specific about what you are going to with that money. It is only when we have the money that we can use it to pay such kind of payment, that we can do it….The prize money we are getting from FIFA, we can use it to pay any outstandings, we can use it to pay the coach of the Super Falcons. That is what we will do and we will not have any problem. Copied from Twitter(Osasu) Smh |

She says she's currently the only one positioned to go to 7 world cups (male or female) as every other person she's currently tied with has retired. She said all she needs to do is work on her body to meet up with the requirements.
As shocking as I was to hear this, I wasn't surprised. Point is Onome won't leave until you push her out. She's obviously banking on her people at the NFF to keep her in the team. Those guys at Nff have given ego coins to some of the players in this falcons team and it's not supposed to be so. Physical fitness is one, tactical is another. Hilarious that she thinks that is all she needs to meet up. Says alot. |

I’m sure Arteta and the boys learnt their lessons . We move ! There's this part of our game where we feel that once we are in control, nothing dey sup. It's dangerous. Funny enough, we should have won 5-0. We can't continue to be wasting sweat and effort in such manner. All it takes in EPL to ruin whatever sweet tactics any manager imagines vividly is just 2mins. Kpere!! Cooper was defensive and just tweaked one forward spot and they got a goal in 10mins. Naaaahhhh!! Unacceptable. We put 2 new forwards and not a goal came out. The excuse? Na first game. Kibbs: England is this, England is that
Till they go and win they go and win the damn thing. Ask France men how they did it in 2019.. you think history books remembers a team that played better over a team that won?
KO football are always tight, only a few are different. No bad team reaches the semi final of a WC by luck sha See it happens. It's not a new thing in football. It has been like that since days of Pele, and it's not today it will stop no matter what happens on the pitch. Next, the example of France doesn't fit this narrative one bit. Thanks for adding the "you think history book remember who played better" Adding that just buttresses my stance. As for thebplace of luck in football, let's not start to pretend today that it doesn't exist anywhere, any nervy moment in football. Luck dey. Some bad teams get lucky. Some absolutely great teams also get lucky. Lucky is a constant in any football equation. |
