That dispossession by Chuks that led to a chance, who else noticed that there was no white shirt near Osimhen and that's why he flashed it across the goal?
That's exactly why person go dey complain. Aren't they supposed to track the Chuks pass and follow up by rushing into the box to provide options?
The conclusion is everyone dey do big boy while expecting someone to help make things easier for them. Simon moses should have been in the box, he was the closest. He was strolling into the box. Smh |

The way he reacted to that foolish decision by Onyeka shows we need him more to start games. Calvin will never react that sleek. He's not that pacy sef. |

Emmy450: like bro!!!!! Imagine saka perfect assist to Kane yesterday, then compare same with the rubbish way chukweze they play for us .. Saka even moves from the wing to slightly in front of the box. That's where his goal came with Henderson sighting the position. Some of these stuff are basic so it won't look like we want us to be suddenly England so bad. |

BascoVanVeli: So Saka never takes a shot for himself What about the one he put on a plate for him? Saka knows how to be a teammate so much that when he goes all selfish, nobody actually complains. Not with Chuks. Infact if Saka goes deep, every Arsenal fan knows the next move is to find a teammate even if na defender. Chuks will go deep and be stagnant, moving leg in the air like Antony of Man U. Iwobi opened up 3ice for him in this 1st half and man still went for a foolish shot that was blocked. Like how will you be such a winger that doesn't understand such space is locked down already Howwwwwwww. He makes Simon Moses looks like a saint tbh. |

fabyom: I believe anybody can be beaten in soccer. That's the beauty of it. Against GB the team was just unlucky! The 442 actually worked cos we created several chances. Going forward, I think the coach needs to balance the midfield and we good! Nwakali is urgently needed in the midfield triangle! I've been seeing this unlucky talk since that loss. To me, its the lowest of all possible excuses we can present for that performance that night. It doesn't just fit and should not be wielded and justified. |

Ndidi performs well when he sits at the front of the back for to shield it. He isn’t a ball carrier and will never be one
A midfield of ndidi as dm, Onyeka as b2b and iwobi as an AM would hv destroyed GB 442 is trash for the personnel we have on ground to start with. |

Sammy07: You capture everything correctly.
Exactly... Census will be worst
To be Honest. I don't think we're up to 150 million in Nigeria. Total number of NIN registrations is a little more than 100 million. from (2011 till date).
And yes, they will inflate CENSUS. in fact I'm seeing 300 m populations. So many things are involved.
1. it'll give Nigeria bragging rights among other nations. 😂😂
2. Many Nigeria states will also want to increase their figures as bragging rights. I'm sure they'll allocate 30M for Lagos which I'm definitely sure Lagos no reach 15 M.
3. I don't see any difference in our census. The states from the highest populations to lowest will remain the same but wit significant allocated populations I agree with you too. I saw figures from the 1993 elections. Do you know that many states in Nigeria have been unable to replicate those figures ever again despite the population increasing and population of voters increasing as well? That was 30yrs ago, and yet some states can't even get the 500k+ they got in 93(unless of course, figures were bloated) But that proves the point. Since 2007, less than 30% of population have been deciding the elections. Now they said 87m collected PVCs. But only 23m total were valid votes out of the 87. 87 is already 1/3 of so called total. Then 23m again is 1/3 again of the PVC total. Many states have 500k for 2019 and despite the sensitization and etc, same states are recording less that 250k for presidential and gubernatorial. I think two things are obvious!! Election Figures are very exaggezrated and the population is also exaggerated as well. |

There is no harm in trial but left for me he isn’t the answer to our midfield woes That's exactly what i keep saying. He isn't the superman to change all of that. I doubt any midfielder is better than Iwobi right now. No matter what we try to say here. If Iwobi doesn't click, we are average at best. I kinda see Aribo starting today. Nacho will not start. I hope we see something close to this formation today.

Danielnino00: If Nigeria was a serious country, all these NFF officials will be probed as to how funds getting into the federation account are being managed.. Nigeria national team participate in an international tournament almost every year and yhwse tournaments often come with financial incentives regardless of whether they win or not... Where are the funds going? For instance, Nigeria is set to earn up to, if not more than $1m at the women world cup later this year even if we exist the group stage based on FIFA's revised prize money for the tournament... That amount should be enough to settle the players bonus and coaching staffs wages, but we will definitely hear something else later,..
PS: I have little to no knowledge about how funds earned for winning or participating in international tournaments though.... I'll ask a friend to give me a breakdown of the monies that flow in per year and let's see what we can at least derive from that. Cos i doubt anyone of us right now can ever see how they spend funds. It's not that transparent. But if funds are getting in way than we imagined then we should just forget this golden generation doing anything significant going forward. |

COOL10: I don't even think Rohr has been paid his outstanding salaries, yet alone, Peseiro.
At this point, Harve Renard would even prefer to coach Spain's Under 10 team than the Super Eagles. Not every coach can take the nonsense that the NFF is fond of. so i heard, that he's not been totally paid. We can't continue to run our top brand of football on credit. It's sickening and reeks of mediocrity. It's shameful. Very! |

Philosopher1979: Eguavon actually did 2 things right
1. Improve the creativity of our midfield 2. Bring in more creative players and passers into the team However, he cannot read a game on time and make tactical changes and that was his downfall Also, against ghana he allowed himself to be confused and drop Nwakali when we needed him in midfield. Someone convinced him to try iheanacho in midfield and the stuff did not work He could have continued with what he did in the afcon and stuck with nwakali given iwobi was not available FOR ALL HIS TACTICAL SHORT COMMINGS HE DID SOME BASIC THINGS RIGHT I THINK AS USUAL BEFORE THE GAME AGAINST GHANA SOME PEOPLE WERE INFLUENCING HIM TO MAKE FOOLISH DECISIONS LIKE TRYING TO USE OGENYI ONAZI OR LOOKING FOR MUSA AND IGHALO UP AND DOWN IF HE HAD DONE THE RIGHT THING AND NICKED THAT WORLD CUP QUALIFIER, THE TEAM WILL AT LEAST BE BETTER THAN NOW IN TERMS OF MIDFIELD PLAY HE EVEN SEEMS BETTER THAN POSEIRO AS AVERAGE AS EGUAVON IS HE MAY BE BETTER THAN POSEIRO AT LEAST 55% IS BETTER THAN 41% EVEN THOUGH IT IS NOT EXCELLENCE AS EGUAVON CANNOT READ A GAME AND HAS SOME DEFICIENCIES AS PER POSEIRO I HOPE HE PROVES ME WRONG WITH TIME IF HE DOES NOT WIN AGAINST GUINEA BUSAU AWAY THEN HE WILL HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS I know some top coaches exhibit it, but this is one thing i dislike about local coaches-reading a game and effecting instant changes to stop the advantage the opponents have. That Pep interview made it worse cos, as you know nigerians, they'll want to believe you know what you're doing when you talk like that. Hence, you raised their hopes. See how the Abuja stadium was filled up that night. Only to see such display and something that hasn't happened in a long long while happened!! The riots As hard as it seems, AE has a better outing than JPes. With what I'm seeing now, i doubt if Jpes could make SE qualify for WC if he was in charge of that Ghana 2 legged affair. His excuse is he's not done any afcon execution. But if this is how this looks, then imagine how devastating afcon performance will be Conclusion: Two Clowns are handlers of our senior national teams and Pinnick gets the heavy blame on this. Does Gusau inspire confidence right now? Imo-To early, but absolutely not!! He better win the return leg. We lucky its not the 1st game. |

BascoVanVeli: Did Arsenal drag out the victory yes or no? Now u are coming up with excuses for them.
Lesotho put 3 past us over 2 legs. So what makes Guinea Bissau scoring abnormal? CAR, Seychelles and Madagascar, that's abnormal. Not Guinea Bissau. This is the same team that took Egypt to the wire and even had a clean goal cancelled. Sorry, which Arsenal game are you referring to fes? Cos its the Goodison Park loss I'm using as context, which fits more than the Emirates win, which is why I'm analyzing from that POV. All the losses to lowbudget african teams all have one thing in common, unless we want to ignore the truth, the Super Eagles were poooor. Poor hence the loss. Justified win against big teams is when that big team are doing what their reputation demands but they just couldn't break down the smaller team, and then the smaller team ends up winning (mostly not by fluke or slackness by the big team at the back) That is why i use that Everton win against Arsenal. They deserved that win, albeit from a setpiece. Same can be used for some of Aston villa wins against some top 6 sides. Let's not stretch this any further to find excuses for the Poor show of the Super Eagles. Any big team finding it hard to crack down a low ranked team like GB that aren't even having discipline at the back is a sign of average performance. Simple!! The Sierra Leone 4-4 is another example. I have nothing else to say. |
