Oga anybody telling me Mikel,Vic Moses, Simon Moses and Ighalo are not worthy the hypes then they should go and watch Nigeria 2018 WC qualifiers.
3/4 are worth the hype. They performed for club and country immensely, despite having some of the worst years of administration with nff.

It's a different thing if someone is performing at club but can barely do much with the GWG. Perhaps he will come good again. But for now, the wingers we have don't spell terror to any african defender.

And yes, i agrre totally. Anyone trying to underhype that set even after the afcon win is a joker. Individually those guys were game changers.

Echegini look similar to her when she plays from the wing but Randy won't deploy her there.. That’s her no.1 position at Florida State University..

Abeg In terms of winger count the falcons own out, I wish we can just have one Stella Mbachu again…

Stella Mbachu will play you to the extent you will be restricted to your defensive duties, if you dare to overlap you’re a gunner Ahbi gonnaa..
E dey hard to see such players in falcons like before. One area that has improved is getting better defenders for the team. We have one of the worst defence at the world cup decades ago. We had a good attack but barely peaked performance.

So singlehandedly running from defence to attack doing wonders, makes him a fantastic player? even at that, cite two instances were those has happened, i can recall one, and the circumstances that led to it, under similar circumstances, we have better runners, better dribblers and better finishers in our current wingers than we have in Victor Moses.

The current S.E setup, is making our wingers produce less than they would.
Are you trying to be hilarious right now??😂😂😂😂😂😂

You watch Club football and see top players do the "singlehandedly running from defence to attack, doing wonders" and most definitely hype and praise such players. So VicMo own is now 'there' or 'nothing worth the hype'??

Super Eagles Head Coach, Jose Peseiro, has been paid $210,000 (about N156,400,000), being three of the 10 months salary owed him by the Nigeria Football Federation.

Head coaches of other national teams like the Super Falcons, U-23 Eagles, Flying Eagles, Falconets, Golden Eaglets and the Flamingos were paid between five and seven months salaries.
Now this is how to talk. Adeleke Style🤣
I hope it is sustained. Glad the cadet team coaches are getting their money. Didn't like what i was hearing from that side at all.

Even Victor Moses' biggest critics know the truth. They can't argue about his performance especially when he played as a winger.

Whenever I saw that guy in the starting lineup for the Eagles, my mind would immediately be at rest. He could single handedly change any game. Whenever he got on the ball, you knew something exciting was gonna happen.

He knew when to dribble, when to pass, when to shoot, when to fall down in the box and roll twenty times just to get a penalty grin grin, and he also knew when to cross. THE BASICS!!!. That's something that majority of our current wingers lack.

Just look at the games against Cameroon and Algeria. Look at how he embarrassed their defenders. The closest thing we have right now to a Victor Moses is Ademola Lookman, but he's yet to live up to it in the National team colours.
Doing the basics over and over in crucial moment earns one a star pass!! You've concluded this Matter well abeg💯💯💯

I pity whoever go start that game, sincerely. Fooord's movement and bursting into runs are like what Suarez does while at Liverpool or a Sanchez. And she has this extra ability to cross pinpoint balls. We don't even have any winger right now that has this super ability on the team. Pls don't mention players doing it at their clubs but haven't become recognized for that on the NT abeg. 🌚

Victor Moses has a record of 12 goals and 5 assists in just 37 games for Nigeria. For a winger, that's an impressive record. Show me a Nigerian winger that has a better record.

And please, did you really compare Victor Moses' style of play and his creativity with the likes of Moses Simon and Chukwueze? 😳😳

Chai, what won't I read on this thread?🤣🤦🏽‍♂️🤣🤦🏽‍♂️
What I'm pissed at most in his post is he saying Mikel and Onazi helped him majorly. Maybe he didn't watch VicMo. That guy will singlehandedly run from defence and do wonders, MOSTLY by himself, influencing game outcomes with his intelligence. These current ones can't lace his boots till 20whatever. Unless the improve by far.

Philosopher1979:
NIGERIA FOOTBALL IS STILL GROWING DESPITE THE U23 PROBLEM

The funny thing about the poor perfomance of our u23
is that people may think we dont have good players.
Actually, we do.
Our football academies and foreign born players have taken care of the
issue of developing quality players for our national teams
What is happening is that the administrative rot in the NFF is killing the
efforts of different individuals to develop quality players for our national teams.
Most Nigerian coaches (including Yusuf) collect bribes before fielding players
and delibrately leave out good players who cannot bribe them
This is the main problem and not lack of quality players
All we need to do is kick out corruption and maladministration from nff
The problems is that most Nigerian coaches have not been paid for months or years
and this leads to them embracing mediocrity for money and low morale and a shoddy job.
https://www.owngoalnigeria.com/2023/03/29/representative-of-arsenal-midfielder-opens-up-on-cash-for-spot-in-nigeria-u23-after-loss-to-guinea/
The link above shows it.
There is a serious need to overhaul the leadership of nff.
NFF is driving initialives like barcelona football academy in NIgeria, remo stars etc behind.
Maybe they should disolve the leadership of NFF and appoint new leaders and coaches.
What happended is i felt the effort of individuals and organizations can by pass NFF's corruption and lack of ambition
BUT alas it did not work.
Any effort to develop football is fustrated by some corrupt and strange personalities in NFF
The more we dig the more the stench of this cesspit.

I'll rather have a footballer with small scoiscoi than all of this Garbage that incinerator refuse to burn

Deborah Ajibola is not on a 'club' team in the US. She was offered a full ride Women's soccer scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh.
Coach Randy (as head coach of the Pitt Women's soccer program) has every right to recruit players for his program, just as they do for football, basketball, track and field, wrestling, and a host of other sports.
Of course, the student has to demonstrate academic ability and possess the right qualifications to be admitted to the University, which Debbie was able to do without issue.
She is a very sharp and intelligent young lady and thoroughly deserves to be admitted into the University of Pittsburgh based on merit. So no wuru-wuru there.

I thought BascoVanVeli's video profile on her move was bang on point, especially in detailing the intrinsic benefits of her move:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGZiMmi8EJM&t=204s

One other current Super-Falcon he neglected to mention in the video, who also schooled in the US and played NCAA D1 Soccer, was Ashleigh Plumptre who played at USC.
Don't get me wrong. I said it that way cos it looks like one positive thing he's done since he took up SF job.

playing football and administration are two different areas I'm afraid. There is no guarantee a footballer will run the federation better than this guys Sha.
This!!

This is the excuse that has made us to remain stagnant for decades. Federation abound with ex footballers doing just perfect and fine in running affairs. Yet we always want to pop up this excuse whenever we talk of a footballer running things? Haba now!!

It would fit better if we switched it to "there's no guarantee a non-footballer will run this federation better"

Cos that exactly is the most perfect fit for our football since 60s

The way out is to have actual footballers run that Federation. That is the only WAY IMO.

ANYTHING less than that is a waste of time, pulse rate and passion.

You people have to understand that Osimhen is one of the leaders of this team and is naturally vocal onfield. This was an important live game. They were sh*t in Abuja. Proper nonsense. So he still had that at the back of his mind.

They were in the heat of battle. He had to make his mind known if he felt he had to say something.

This is the same guy who more times than several would be the only one giving absolutely everything for the team and we all would bear witness to it and admit that he is doing too much and should not hurt himself.

Now that he complains about one or two things, you guys now complain about it??

Is it not here that some of you said it is unfortunate Osimhen has to put up with the rubbish the team does from time to time??

Now he talks and it is a problem?? Do leaders not speak their mind again in the heat of battle?

I remember when I was a boy playing for my school and class teams, I was bloody vocal on the pitch yet outside it I was quite the opposite. But on the pitch, you wouldn't wanna mess up when I am on it, because I do my best to ensure I don't mess up and when I do, I take one for my team and fix those mistakes almost immediately.

I always believed that if at all you were picked to march on to the pitch and play, then you have to be ready to give your best. Not close to it but your best. And my teammates respected me because they know I led by example. I didn't just voice out, I also walked the talk.

And I am talking about teammates that included guys bigger than me yet my workrate was greater than all of them combined and I was a right footed left winger (majorly) but also quite versatile (could play LB, RB, CB, RW, CF, SS, GK, and DM). My favorite positions were LW, CF, DM and GK.

Osimhen is not gonna lose his teammates' support for saying something that will obviously benefit the team in the heat of the action. They will sort it out after the game and move on like nothing happened. They are professionals.

I mean, even as boys, myself and my teammates understood this how much more pros?
I doubt he's one of the leaders of the team. The real leaders dey. Especially with the seniority stuff off screen if we want to be honest. He just has a big attraction. Guy shapali go quiet as Sanusi wave am off. Seniority!!😂😂😂😂😂

Its really tiring.

VicMo will read the game, see the rubbish his teammates are playing and then go solo and do it all and get results. Intelligence should be 5&6 with any winger.

Winger runs and defender tracks, as slow down comes, that's the best moments to make the dangerous move that will result in a pk(osayi did just that today).
