But before I knew it, within a few hours, I saw my picture with a story saying that I had actually given Israel ultimatum to return Nnamdi Kanu otherwise, we will send them missiles. ![]() ![]() The "send them missile" part nearly got me rolling on the floor. ![]() The level of propaganda and lie been peddled by IPOB on Nairaland and Facebook is scary. |
MeanChris:You see; they've even started already! It's within their rights to file for that submission, but we all know the courts usually throw out such submissions. |
MeanChris: patogist:In judicial parlance, "closing a case" does not mean ending that case. It means that the prosecutor (in this case, EFCC) has laid out all its case with evidence, etc, and it's now the time for the defendant, Badeh (or through his lawyers) to start his own defence by trying to pick holes, errors, etc, in the way EFCC has argued its case against him or even outrightly deny everything. |
What a heart of gold. She may have done it without intending to make it go viral and bringing in more for her but that exactly might just happen - "shaken together, and running over" kind of blessings. |
Arrant nonsense! Was this group existing before today? I doubt, but even if yes, the question now is: Is it part of their written mission statement that they'll be vetting politicians to certify them as either fit or unfit for elections? The only thing sending jitters down the spine of APC right now is the fact that Atiku's runningmate is a widely known spartan person, a governor who turned around his state while he held sway and one who's not easily "manipulatable". Had Atiku chosen the DSP, the daily taunts from APC would be that both he and his deputy are corrupt people (Ekweremadu was recently busted to owning luxury homes in US and UK and is already a subject of investigation by the EFCC). In fact APC would have long gone to sleep that the election has been concluded because they know how very sensitive Nigerians are to issues of corruption. |
OK.... |
![]() This is the season of election and everybody wanna become rich. I can bet it that at least 85% of these groups only exist on paper, less than 10% are comparatively serious, while the rest are looking for how to cash out from Atiku's deep pockets. |
Nnamdi will not dare step his foot on Nigerian soil until Buhari is out of power - which could be as far as 2023, unless Atiku wins... |
sean1000x:How old are you? The way you're littering Nairaland saying Israeli Mossad rescued Kanu and now you're saying they're protecting his parents in Israel, shows you're a secondary school pupil (not student). Use your number 6 to think independently for yourself, and stop rehashing these childish tales your mind is deceiving you with. |
Hmmm |
Hmmmm |
Why would a mod bring this hate spewing, divisive thread to the front page?

Joblessness and pettiness. I will not waste my time to go through those silly, childish hashtags and rantings. I've kept to my word since it started not to view the WhatsApp screenshots or go through the Twitter threads, and I'll continue to do so. ![]() ![]() When Buhari calls them lazy they'd begin another Twitter storm to counter it, rather than doing so through substance and action. It's well. |
This is awe-inspiring. I'm sure the other injured persons fully got back on their feet. God never promised a storm-free voyage, but He did promise we'll have Him as guide right in midst. And it'll end in testimony and tears of joy at the end. |
Within a few hours of his reported sighting, they've called a meeting, formed a quorum and passed a resolution calling for a presidential pardon for him or the lone president is speaking the mind of everybody in Ohanaeze? And by the way, Kanu would do well to continue hiding wherever he has been and not repeat the mistakes of 2014/2015. He escaped Nigerian Army siege by a slim chance; he may not be lucky again next time, especially now that IPOB has been put in the same category as BH. |
If truly that's a recent picture, then the guy escaped by the whiskers, because he was meant to be captured dead or alive. |
This woman is a passionate, fearless reformer and fighter. But she needs to start looking smart. |
IamD18:Mtchewww . You're claiming intellectual up and down (at least your signature shows that), but see the comment you just posted, glorifying a tribe. What's intellectual about this? How does praising your tribe make it better than others? |
But the court has granted them two weeks to hold him. |
What a bad fate. The rate at which people die in the act of sex with harlots these days is alarming. I can't count the number of similar threads that have reached the front page before this one. People never die sleeping with their wife/husband, but you'll always hear stories about them dying sleeping with prostitutes. Say no to sexual immorality. |
Let me ignore the topic and rather talk about Taiwan and its successes. Taiwan, also called Republic of China, used to be part of China until 1949 when a civil war divided the country (it's a loooooong story). They were very poor and survived on subsistence agriculture and used to receive aids from the US and other countries like all of Africa do till today... Smh. Right now, Taiwan competes with US, mainland China, Europe in technology, human development index and infrastructure. Taiwan has now made history as the only country or the first country that used to be an aid recipient but now an aid giver. |
BankeSmalls:Always try to make sensible comment. Likes are useless; don't allow the abundance or lack of it thereof to take away your God-given common sense. If you have nothing germaine to contribute to a thread, simply come and read those who have. You mustn't comment on every thread. Nigerians from every tribe and tongue voted in Buhari; so you and your co- travellers should stop that silly habit of always telling people from certain parts of the country not to criticise or condemn the actions of the government "because they voted in the govt", according to your jaundiced reasoning. |
A science and technology university they'll later turn to a full-fledged conventional university through the back door. Poor management. I have seen that play out in a federal UT before. Until Nigeria begins a massive investment in education by founding and funding specialised research universities like other countries do, we're not ready to move ahead yet. We're still waiting on God to turn Nigeria to Garden of Eden overnight, as if that was what He did for other successful countries. |
TechCapon:The ring can be gently cut off using a.... - I don't know, but I just know cutting off the finger is not the only opinion. It's well. In fact, it's not an option. |
For a country to grow, reward and punishment must go hand in hand. Let govt officials who have been found to be exceptionally good in their duty post be rewarded openly by the govt and those who are performing below be punished accordingly to serve as a deterrence to others. I suppose if this were to happen in some other country like China or Mexico (Mexico once arrested the whole staff of a town's police force because of a single politician that was murdered by assassins), that hospital's CMD wouldn't last a day more in that post. "Others will hear and fear" and sit up. |
Fierce11:I'm afraid you are already basking in the euphoria that you have made a powerful comment judging by the number of likes you already have, but I'll tell you that this is a senseless comment. A young boy who already bought a house amounting to ₦2mn for his family (and his father still went ahead to report him), which other percentage are you talking about? |
The north is not so zombiestic like many think. No Kano governor has ever won two terms back to back aside Shekarau. PDP needs to put pressure on this man; it seems they're asleep or they want him to stay on so they could use it as a rallying point of campaign against during campaign proper. |
Johnnyessence:How does this reply relate to my comment? Stop plagiarism, bro. |
.. |
Johnnyessence:Why are you always copying people's tweets and posting them here as comments? |
My mind is strongly telling me that CIA have sent this man on a clandestine assignment against Museveni to poison him, maybe, like they have used celebrities and undercover or fake journalists to carry out their assassinations. Just thinking wild. bencarson007:"A clandestine operation is an intelligence or military operation carried out in such a way that the operation goes unnoticed by the general population or specific enemy forces." - Wikipedia |
Unlike other tribes, why do Igbos and Yoruba fancy giving a single name to both genders? It defeats the purpose, because names are supposed to be gender-sensitive. Examples Shola, Bola, Ayo, Ade (almost all names beginning with "Ade" are answered by both male and females). For Igbos: Uche, and names that end with "Chukwu". |
