Those with first class naturally thinks the world owe them something for having a first class degree but those with third class and below know nobody owe them anything so they naturally work harder , they learn other skills and they somehow understand financial education. Wow! See mentality! Na wa o. |

MrTypist: Dino my guy, the only third class degree holder that first class products are envious of. They said he didn't graduate but he is living his dreams in his own way.
That guy get god fathers wey dey him back since university days. Ruggedity pays if you know how to use it well. You can ask tompolo and Ayeri.
Certificate is just a piece of paper which can be edited to your taste. You can design a certificate of any higher institution of your choice if you choose to. He even said he has Harvard and LSE certificates too. Go and arrest him.
It is not by certificate but by your doggedness to succeed.
You can ask Bill Gates and Mark. So integrity means nothing to you right? And they wonder why Nigeria is ranked as one of the most corrupt countries in the world and why almost no sane business wants to even bother relocating here despite our President running all over the world to beg for investments. |

TinaAnita: If he could do this to his mother in-law then he is capable of killing the wife. It's a good thing that the mother tried to protect her daughter's life from a vampire. Is marriage a do-or-die thing? Why didn't he let his mother in-law have her way for peace to reign? Have her way? In his house? You do know that when you are under someone roof that you follow their directives right? You don't go to someones abode and start trying to disrupt things. |

BiggyB242: Why wouldn't he be angry? Out of love you bought a phone for your girlfriend then suddenly she left you for someone else. She should return back his phone because nobody is a fool. That's the reason I advise guys, the commitment you make in a relationship should be in such a way that you wouldn't regret it later on if your relationship doesn't work out. Only make a selfless commitment when you are both married. But isn't that very petty of the guy? It's like when we were kids and you lose a game playing with your friends and then you pick up your toy and start going home. Saying you are never going to play with them anymore. Doesn't that sound childish to you? |
Romance › Re: Any Guy Who Doesn't Have A House And A Car Should Not Get Married Or Even Date! by davidif: 10:42pm On Mar 27, 2017 |
Vinshu: In order to reduce the level of poverty amongst homes, in my opinion I think a man who has not enough money to buy a house of his own not rent at least a 3 bed room flat and a car to move him and his family around should not get married.
When he gets married in his low credit, the family tends to suffer. The probability that he will get rich is actually 0.5 not up to 1 because Sundry expenses will now become expenses when married. Things he could ignore when single will now be important.
When children arrive, the probability of getting rich falls to an all time low of 0.2. Have you observed that most men have a higher credit score when single? If you have $500 at the end of every week when single if your job/income doesn't change or upgrade when you get married your $500 falls to $200 because you no longer feed yourself but feed a woman and probably a child.
When the child grows older school fees will set in. And other bad debts will be incured .
Don't get me wrong, I ain't saying he will never make it but in the mean time, why bring a child to the world to suffer? Even if it's for 6 years before you make it? Why take a woman from her father's comfy house to hardship in the name of marriage?
I advice ladies never to get married no matter how cool a guy is unless he is proven to be able to cater for your needs and that of your children financially in all ramifications both expenses and sundry expenses.
It doesn't make any sense, what you enjoy when single as a lady why stop enjoying it because your husband has no money or your money now goes to supporting him?
They say women ain't equal to men. Ok let the men be rich and rich enough to take care of their wives 101% before getting married. In fact, studies show most men marry for sex. Correct me if I am wrong but I thought dating was about affection and companionship? Not about whether you have a house or own a car. |

JerryTemi: please I indulge all of us to keep sentiment aside and put yourself in her shoe how will you behave? forget following the church rules and regulations please if you were her how will you handle this? when my only brother was sick, when I mean sick very sick and I needed help from my church as a worker in that church and the church said I should come back that they want to verify if my brother is a member but me that is a worker can't you look at me and do it for me,am not just a worker,I do other things for us in CHURCH, but when they couldn't help me and my brother died, Jesus I lost the respect I have for Churches, I see it as a place people look for saints, money and members. Ma I will tell you nothing but the truth, none of them not even the pastor have the right to condemn you,Jesus died on the cross for people like me and you, I keep them that nobody has the audacity to judge me because you are not in any way better than me,the things they do in secret if you hear it you will no that we are saint close to the door of heaven. Take your baby to another Church and dedicate him but from your house tell your baby who he is, bless him, pray for him.Assume you did abortion that would have made you the best Christian Abi?Have this at the back of your mind Nigerians practice RELIGION NOT Christianity. kiss your boy for and tell him that I love him and his welcome. But please tell me, what's the big deal about baby dedication? Where in the bible did you hear a commandment that a child should be dedicated in church? Talk about people mistaking the traditions of men for the commandments of God. |

Livie2016: Hello,
Would really appreciate some words of advice please. I'm really sad. No judgmental posts posse.
I conceived my first child when I was dating my boyfriend, now husband and then we got married shortly after I fell pregnant. We had planned to get married even before I got pregnant but when I got pregnant, we then decided to bring the date forward. It was a very difficult period for me because my mum really made me feel bad. I repented to God from a heart of genuine sincerity and sought his forgiveness which I received by his grace. I fell short of the glory of God but God forgave me and had mercy on me.
Fast forward to a year plus after my wedding. My son is now 6 months and we would like to dedicate him in church. We have however been told that the church will not accept him for the regular dedication process where the parents dance out to the front of the church alongside close relatives and friends. What the church has said is that we can only do a private dedication service in a different room after the service. I'm devastated.
My son is innocent and pure. He was conceived from a sinful act but God has forgiven us. I've now been happily married to my husband and father of my child for more than a year. Is it therefore fair for the church to treat my son like he's an outcast and not worthy of being celebrated openly and publicly?
I feel so humiliated and wanted to cancel the dedication and do it in a church where h will be openly celebrated and received as a wonderful gift from God which my darling son is. My husband has accepted it but I'm struggling to do so. The church is supposed to be about love. What is the biblical basis for saying that my son cannot be pubclily dedicated?
Would really like some views here. Should I cancel the dedication and do it somewhere else or go ahead with the private/ secret dedication?
Many thanks for reading. What's the big deal about child dedication? Where in the bible did you hear a commandment that a child should be dedicated in church? Talk about people mistaking the traditions of men for the commandments of God. |

Buhari sef Wow! See difference in mentality. If this were in saner climes, people would be castigating this guy and he would be under investigation but in Naija people are praising him for "living a good life while his mates that came out with first class are somewhere doing yes sir in one bank or firm and collecting N100,000 as salary" and they wonder why Nigeria is corrupt? Isn't it because the citizenry have a high tolerance for corruption? |

musicwriter: Again, former Nigerian leader, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida, in the 80's followed IMF and world bank instructions to the letter. What we got was mass poverty!. The Naira became useless!!. We ended up owning Billions of dollars in debt to the same world bank, IMF and their cronies. That's why Buhari overthrew the IBB regime among other things. So, we're not talking about what we haven't done before. To the letter?? Hahajajaha yeah like looting and embezzling the economy? Like poor execution? Like stealing the money borrowed by the imf? Like refusing to invest in infrastructure like electricity, education etc to prepare the next generation to be competitive even though he knew the Nigerian population was growing?
