Good morning.

Pls can anyone recommend the current owner / driver agreement plan for uber. As I want to be up to date and know how to negotiate. And also anything that can be helpful to me as a uber car owner

I'll very much appreciate your help

What is currently obtainable is 30k weekly remittance by the driver.

Maintenance/repair costs less than 7k is borne by the driver while anything more than that is exclusively the preserve of the car owner. But in some cases, such repair or maintenance costs is shared in the ratio of 70/30.. 70% to car owner & 30% to driver respectively..

Servicing is done strictly by the car owner (for obvious reasons.. some drivers will claim they serviced the car but it’s a hoax.. so, you could agree to a designated mechanic, date & time).

Car inspection can be scheduled say bi-weekly for the first few months (say 2 months on the average), and later on to once a month.. depending on your honest assessment of how the driver is using the car.

One or two guarantors will suffice.. it depends on you..

Basically, that’s all there is to rental agreement between car owner & driver partner..

NB: I need a car to drive just incase you’re looking for a reliable driver partner. If you have any further queries, please feel free to ask. There are tons of expert advice you can get on here from both car owners & driver partners alike.

Am not sure you know the meaning of Higher purchase because u don't intend to sell your car.

What u need to do is look for a driver, that will drive the car on Uber/Bolt and deliver minimum 30k to u weekly for the period u await ur own documentation and handover.

Very apt..

Hallenjay, I am available for the few months you need..

They can't win that war, cheerful. There is no law that compels you to take a vaccine.

No one can force you to take a vaccine. No one.

Edo is not as cosmopolitan as Lagos.
Probably, the GOVT is expecting some foreign currency from intl donor agencies. Nothing more than this. So they act tough as if they are interested in the welfare of the people.

Children die daily in Nigeria from nutritional defeciency stemmed diseases.

You seem to misunderstand his posit.. as a service provider who comes in contact with people everyday, government can slam such conditions as far as operations are concerned.

I'll also advise that drivers should go and get vaccinated.

I don't like the vaccine idea. I'm basically going to do it because of that vaccine card. One day they'll ask that only vaccinated drivers be allowed to carry riders. This will be a problem. Now that there is no rush, try get it, just for getting sake.

Pls I've tried that "it's my choice" argument, but in the end, you can't win government. Especially Nigerian government. They don't give a fuck_.

Vaccination to me is like every other document needed to be on the road. When they make it mandatory in Lagos, like they've done in Edo, police will start parking cars and start asking for your vaccination card after they've asked for your license and particulars.

I agree.. you’re very perceptive!

PLEASE, I can drive well but I don't have driver licence and i don't have the cash I can waste on those things and SIB licence requested by bolt so I am looking at giving my BOLT my 2010 corrola for some months and see if I can raise a good cash or.can bolt take my car on higher purchase. A C, GEAR, AND EVERYTHING IS OKAY. CAR IS CLEAN AND IT'S 88/100 .
Which will pay pass aside driving my self.
Daily delivery from.bolt or higher purchase ..kindly furnish me with some ideas or how to go about it best

Bolt doesn’t take cars from car owners to manage. You need to get a driver yourself who has all the requirements you currently don’t have & put such to use for a few months as you require.

If it is just a few months, I’d be interested to drive your car. I’m just a DM away.

Please any bolt or Uber inspection center around Amuwo Odofin, festac

Do you stay around there? Check out cars45 on Ago Palace way after the Police Station. I think there’s another one (cars45) just before apple junction when coming from Festac access link bridge.

They do Uber inspection. For Bolt, I think you’d have to go outside that area.

On another note, can I DM you? Or perhaps a number to reach you on.. Need to ask you sumfin..

Already chose the 3rd option.

My P0172 story: I got my no.2 kazeem (I've been using him for my 2001 camry for donkey years) to do a tune up and lube service. He succeeded in doing the lube and struggled with the injectors and messed it up. P0303 kept popping... He said if I drive it, the shakes will go away later. I had to call my super kazeem. Had to drive from Lagos to Mowe early on Sunday morning. Got there, fixed it in no time... my instrument cluster is free of lights

Stayed back to see some friends, while coming back around 12 to 1pm, I witnessed an accident around Arepo. A truck enroute IB ploughed through the center barricade. A Lexus RX narrowly dodged the truck by climbing the elevated shoulder. No dent just a deflated tire... I told the man and his wife to thank God for life.

Care to give your kazeem’s details? Plus, I asked earlier about the cost of your mini elm & point of sale..

Thanks.

so today, my check engine light came on while going to my 9 - 5, did a quick scan with my Bluetooth elm dongle.
The result: P0172. It's been giving some symptoms for a week now. So weekend, I'll clean the throttle body, get my Waheed to clean the injectors (Chrisfix way grin), inspect the spark plugs and also clean the MAF. Currently, my 24mpg have been compromised grin. Blackbishop, radautoworks, Gazzuz, themechy, cheerfulgiver and felicity001 grin and others. Any additions?

Do you use elm 327?

Hi folks,
My brother just got a Toyota Corolla Sport & he has tasked me to manage it for him.
Please, if you know anyone reliable & honest in his dealings living around ikeja, Ogba, iyana ipaja , Egbeda ,Dopemu, Shasha, Agege, Mangoro or Maryland, who is in need & ready to put in the work.
Kindly refer them to me.
The T&C below are flexible enough:
27,000 is the rental fee.
1hr car Inspection would be done once every 3weeks.
1guarantor & signed agreement with an armed force ( i am taking no chances).
Driver would foot repair bills less than 5k but not without my consent.
We have an experienced family -friend mechanic who will oversee the repair history & guide us.
Offline trips within Lagos, Yes. (You can do anyhow but no use my Egbon motor carry cow or Palm oil drum grin)
Offline outside Lagos, we would sit & have a discussion about this.
If you decide to take one way route, park on Zebra crossing at the Airport or beat traffic lights & get apprehended, i would retrieve the car immediately.
Don't refer shady people to me , as i am going to be hands-on
.

How can you be contacted?

Please guys who has ever taken trips to Monkey village around Agboju before? Where is it? I can't locate on the map?
What's the terrain like?

If your rider agrees to stop at Agboju B/Stop & takes a bike, marwa or korope to his/her destination, then you’re good.
