God saved you the road was free BAZ001: I dey here dey reminisce I just did James Bond move on ojota express trying to link 7up/cmd road, I really don’t know how to describe it.
But I picked this G boys (1in front , 2 back) going to ogba on surge, There was traffic in maryland and Mobolaji bank Anthony, so I faced ojota.
As I was about to turn right to service lane to link bridge, police stopped the car in my front, I thought there was a one way or no turning sign that is hidden somewhere, I looked at my rear mirror and saw two police men running towards us from back. I reversed a little to see if they are coming for me or the car in front, next thing they hit my car and tried forcing door open. See James Bond move people started shouting. One came to the front with gun, i was ready to clear him, he jumped away I zoomed off and stopped infront, Window down to ask what did I do, they started running towards us again. The G boys already hiding phone, removing exhibits. Then I realized they wanted the boys not me, But it was too late to stop now, they will rope me too. I zoomed off towards ikorodu ooh. The boys were thanking me say them don faint for body.

Aswear most drivers I have seen on ehailing lack driving skills. One nearly jammed me yesterday at Ikate. I had to park, block him and make him understand the rule of driving he broke. After a while, he came to his senses and started pleading. IFSHR: A friend ordered a ride and the driver that came to pick him is still a learner, my friend had to drive the car to destination. When he called me saying bolt is at fault for such, I told him oga the problem is the Nigerian system not bolt...bolt believes having a government issued driver license implies that you have been certified to be behind wheels.
The driver no just try putting his lives and others at risk. |

My own take is: why is it that once a man is called by God, his wife automatically becomes a pastor too. RiyadhGoddess: Till date, I don't believe in the word 'Female Pastors', I will rather call them Church Mummies! This news isn't surprising. This is what happens when the 'Daddy GO' dies. The woman immediately changes cabinet and that is usually the down fall of such churches. Check the history of churches whose founder (husbands) died and their wives took over, check what's left of them. It's usually not always the same ever. Another Bethel loading...
This is why I do say this with my full chest that 98% of these Female Pastors are ONLY Pastors because their husbands or the man they are crushing on are Pastors. They are Pastors because of the need to support their husbands ministry. Some of them even became born again, active in the church so as to win the Pastor into marriage which earned them an automatic 'Pastor Mrs'. When their husband dies, you will see the true color of Mummy GO / Pastor Wife. Mummy loves me, mummy supports my ministry, die first we go confirm am.
Many workers and pastors who have toiled and labor in the church will be thrown into 'Oh God' and 'it is well' and mummy's excuse will be, he or she never liked & respected me when my husband was alive, they are stealing church money bla bla bla.
Woman no dey born again finish ooo Fear Woman! |

Exactly. On Indriver, try to get the transfer 10 mins max before getting to the destination. If rider refuses, make sure you too insist that he/she will have to wait for the alert before you let them leave your car. NO EXCUSES. NOTHING like call me if you don't see your alert. For where? Pearl1910: Sorry for your experience Brov... When I am on Indriver, I ask Rider "are you giving me cash or transfer?"...if transfer the. I say pls send d money now so I get it before we get to ur destination. Afterall it's a fixed and pre-agreed price, U r going no where if I haven't seen my money. Cos there is no way Indriver will pay back the money |

Indriver or any other apps, try to always confirm your alert on your phone before rider leaves. No excuse. komodapson: @Bazoo @Felicity
My Ordeal with indriver was not good at all. I picked up this dude at 1004. The destination showed Ojodu Berger and the trip fare was N3010. At the PU point, the lad said he'll be making a transfer as his mode of payment, neither do I sense anything contrary to his request.
Approaching Ojodu Berger, the map destination showed he is heading towards Agbole akute, then I asked where exactly his he going to? He replied akute-ajuwon. It was a rainy day. I said to him, I won't be able to go further pass the agbole bridge, I'll have to drop you at the foot of the bridge. Passenger said no problem. On getting to the agreed destination, he disembarked from the vehicle but his items were still inside, went to negotiate with the bike riders. I didn't have any premonition that he'll be doing anything stupid. He came back hurriedly, requested for my account details in which I spelt out correctly. He confirmed the name of the account, he said done and quickly hopped on bike that was stationed in front of him, they zoomed off.
Waited earnestly for the money to drop but to no avail. I was marvelled. Presumably, He should be in his 20s ó. I'm still in shock ó. I tried calling him, can't reach him he has blacklisted my number. Tried with other line, he picked up...heard my voice and blacklisted the line also.
In fact...I totally subscribe to @felicity submission about indriver riders as : low lifers and individuals living in privation.
Try to complain to support but there response is not encouraging. Seems their is no penalty for such action(s) |
Business › Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by davit: 9:29pm On Sep 11, 2021 |
The tag along issue Na wa. Na them dey make issue pass. Obviously, this is general. Just don't know why it is so. XGhost: Abeg, why is it that when you have a rider and tag alongs, na the tag alongs de always complain and not the person paying for the ride. Na dem go ask oga why are you passing here, why are you driving like this, why is the fare so and so when road was free, was there surge??
So this lady requested for her husband, he comes out, sits in front and tells me to wait someone else is joining us. Ok. Two other men join. Isaac John to 1004, map says turn left at Maryland-ojota-alapere... Maryland-Anthony-Gbagada is 7 minutes slower. I go with the map.
Dudes at the back start grumbling in Yoruba about the route, long journey bla bla bla. Talmbout the trick drivers use, taking the longer route to inflate the fare. We get to obalende, dem de direct up and down, pass here, press horn, you no get horn? (I only use my horn when I absolutely have to). All through I and the owner of the trip don't utter a word till they got off at obalende. That's when the man spoke, talked about how people behave, selfish and all. Na so we gist till 1004, told him I enjoyed talking and he said he wished we meet again, dropped small change.
Now I could easily have responded to those guys, but to what end. As far as contracts go, I had no business with them and their opinions, thoughts and utterances meant absolutely nothing to me. They probably thought because they were speaking Yoruba I didn't know what they were saying but I understood everything and was tempted to respond in their language. I always find it foolish when people assume the driver doesn't understand the language, especially Yoruba... Inside Lagos?? |

I do this too. The moment you re giving me untoward attitude on the phone, you just know no be me go carry you. CheerfulGiver: It's called preventive measures. If I notice there will be issues, why would I proceed? She wasn't courteous or anything. If she had even admitted, but asked me to collect the 2k based on her age, I will. What I'll never accept is you conditioning my mind in advance, and emotionally blackmailing me with age bullshit_. Doesn't work on me. And yes, they are the most troublesome. Before it will bring quarrel, take your stuff, and geddifuck.
Just this morning, on a 1.4x I was almost at rider's location, she called the second time and said where are you? Told her I was close, that the road was bad she should calm down I'll soon be there. The idiot replied me and said I should not tell her to be calm, that I should have gotten there by now that even if the road is bad, it shouldn't prevent me to have gotten there. I didnt even let her finish talking, I told her this is a bad sign, ended the call and cancelled. No regrets. Just don't care. |

But see bolts reply, I don’t understand.
1. We would request you to always ensure that you collected the fare after the trip. ?
How? ..... i should fight rider, cause a scene or bring out my phone and record it
2. We would request you to wait for 7 days for the rider to make the payment and kindly let us know if the rider has not paid yet the outstanding fare in 7 days. ..... 7days ? I always forget to remind you in 7 days.

I had same experience yesterday twice. Menh, I have I collected my money in full o. The second trip was even with a lady who was trying to make me see that what was on the app when she booked was lower. Some of these riders sha want to do uber when the money no dey. And it is riders like them that make more trouble. AC, charger, and music. They just want the full benefits even when they don't have the money. CheerfulGiver: I politely asked a middle-aged grandmother to get the fuck_ out of my car today for trying to play on my intelligence. How can you request a trip from Lagos Island to Mile 2 bustop, and be telling me the trip will be Patapata 2k, and that you won't pay more than 2k regardless of what the app shows? I refused and told her I'll collect whatever comes up after I end trip. She said she knows, but that as a brother she's telling me in advance to avoid problems, that they told her it was between 1800 and 2k.... Who the fuck_ exactly, is they? And how on God's green earth am I in any way, shape or form related to this woman and what was it she saw in me that suggested to her that I'm running a family business cum charity organization with my fuel and car or that I'm swayed by sentiments such as "my son" or "my brother?"
I told her point blank with a smiley face, to tell whoever requested the trip to use indriver, hopefully, pope191 could be around the corner to come to her rescue but as long as she's insisting on paying a flat rate of 2k, my interest in embarking on that trip was as flaccid as a "5 letter word" after "7 letter word".
I cancelled trip and opened the boot for them to get her stuff out. I prayed to make 40k before leaving home. That would have been my second trip of the day so it was too early for such nonsense. |

Yes. bolt forcing driver to accept requests. So when you can't reach the driver, then just cancel. truthsayer009: Please i have a question regarding Bolt drivers because i am so fed up with them.
- Why would a driver accept a request & switch off their phone.
- Some will accept your request and set "Driver has arrived" and then refuse to pick their calls or respond.
WHY? WHY?
I mean if a driver isn't going my way, all he needs is for him/her to tell me and I will cancel.
Is Bolt forcing drivers to accept rides or what? |
